Aurora Jenny's B&B

Jenny is the most incredibly kind host I’ve ever met. She is friendly, always nearby, and available to help whenever needed. She also kindly helped me arrange and book all of the activities at great prices, which made my stay completely stress-free. Very thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely caring, I felt extremely well looked after and would highly recommend staying here. The place is perfectly clean and comfortable, and it’s located just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre, with supermarkets and restaurants all close by. I will definitely stay at Jenny’s B&B again the next time I’m back in Yellowknife.

This accommodation was absolutely wonderful. If you’re staying in Yellowknife, you should definitely choose this place. The owner, a lovely woman, was incredibly kind and attentive, and thanks to her, we had a very comfortable stay. Everything was spotless — both the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean. What impressed us the most was her generosity in taking us to see the aurora. We had booked a three-night aurora tour but hadn’t been able to see it at all. Before our final tour, she kindly drove us to a great aurora viewing spot and even helped us take photos. Thanks to her, we were able to see the aurora reflecting on the lake and a beautiful pink, moving aurora. It was such a breathtaking and unforgettable experience. We are truly grateful to the owner for making this possible. Thank you so much!

I stayed at this accommodation to see the Northern Lights. The hosts gave me such a warm welcome and even guided me to the best viewing spot when the aurora appeared. Their hospitality was truly wonderful. The accommodation was also spotless and very well maintained — everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Jenny’s B&B is in a great location. Walking distance to information centre. Room is clean and well organized. Jenny is very helpful, she takes care of each guest 24/7…. She knew we were there for Aurora ( northern lights) when she saw it on streets, she called us to advise it’s time to get out and view it…. It was a magical night, walking in city with many ambient city lights on the last day of August, it was warm , l was in shorts. But we were clearly under the Aurora stripes.

Jenny was exceptionally welcoming and kind. The location is unbeatable, and we met wonderful people throughout our stay. Will book again!

I stayed there for 3 nights.The room, kitchen and bathroom were clean and organized.The host is very nice and friendly. She showed pictures of aurora and explained about the town.Location is convenient.When I come to Yellowknife again, I want to stay at this guest house.

Jenny was great and the place of stay was extremely clean! Even though the bathroom is a shared facility, everything worked well. Loved the fact we had access to the kitchen. The location is right downtown and can easily get access to shops and such.

Jenny is a wonderful owner!! She greeted me kindly every time we saw each other. When I was worried about where I can call a taxi for my return, surprisingly she did it for me!! Then she kindly saw me off until I left. I felt I had a new mother😂 Thank you for everything! My room was very conveniently located near the kitchen. It had a coffee machine, dishes, and everything else I needed, which was great for someone who was on a food budget. I liked the beds, they were spacious and reasonably firm. I could hear some noise clearly from the room next door but I think it's worth the price. The location was great as it was close to some cafe restaurants, and there are also independent grocery store and shoppers nearby.
