Jenny is a wonderful owner!! She greeted me kindly every time we saw each other. When I was worried about where I can call a taxi for my return, surprisingly she did it for me!! Then she kindly saw me off until I left. I felt I had a new mother😂 Thank you for everything! My room was very conveniently located near the kitchen. It had a coffee machine, dishes, and everything else I needed, which was great for someone who was on a food budget. I liked the beds, they were spacious and reasonably firm. I could hear some noise clearly from the room next door but I think it's worth the price. The location was great as it was close to some cafe restaurants, and there are also independent grocery store and shoppers nearby.

Jenny is a great friendly host, very quiet and respectful of her guests privacy. She responded quickly when we needed her to. I would like to recommend to get a cleaning service to do the entire house, and plumbing/heating maintenance. Quiet, downtown location with easy convenience within walking distance. I would recommend friends and family stay there.

Good, small room right in the city-centre. Room was clean and I liked that everything was in walking distance. No issues at all.

Shirley (host) is friendly & accomodating. Gives recommendations on where to eat, what to do in Yellowknife

We spent a wonderful week here at Jennys. The accommodation has a hostel-like feel with communal areas and self-catering facilities but that was by no means a drawback. Breakfast foods are provided which guests prepare for themselves. We had a lovely, clean, spacious room with an ensuite toilet and shared shower (also very clean). Jenny was very helpful with helping us plan our time in YK, and also has winter clothes available to hire. Would highly recommend.

Jenny is very friendly. The common areas (kitchen, dining and living) offer great comfort and convenience. It's a little bit old, but in general well maintained. One thing to note is that it's kinda run like a hostel, with quiet hours and shared bathroom. Location is great. Under 10 min walk to downtown. This B&B is great for its value.

We stayed three nights at Jenny's and were generally very happy with the place. The B & B consists of two floors - something like a duplex - connected by an inner staircase. the upper floor has one bedroom with it's own bathroom, and there are two other separate bedrooms that share a bathroom. The common "living room" and full kitchen are on the same floor, so if other people are up early, or up later than you, they are right outside your door. Sharing the bathroom, especially if both bedrooms have 2 people in them, or if the B & B is full and everyone is using the living room and kitchen at the same time (and for convenience, the one bathroom), things can get a bit tricky. The bedroom walls are extremely thin - even if your neighbours are not speaking loudly, you can still hear through the walls. Despite these downsides, the place is spotless, well managed, very central to downtown sights and bus lines, as well as a large grocery store about 10 minutes away. I brought an ice pack for the freezer and so we were able to take sandwiches with us when sightseeing and make some simple dinners to save lots of time and money. We dealt with Shirley, not Jenny, who was an off-site manager, but very attentive and friendly. If you can get past the thin walls and shared bathroom, this place is very good value.

Jenny’s B only has one B because it’s not a bed and breakfast. Apparently since 2019 they’ve dropped the breakfast portion. I found the rooms super small. Our host was very friendly no doubt about that. It is very close to the downtown core of Yellowknife, The facilities are clean.
