Loved the grassy spacious sites. Fabulous pool with poolside bar and restaurant. Great size pool too, plenty room for all. Loves the lounge chairs you could laze on around the pool. Place was good location for Cahills Crossing and surrounds.... Highly recommend. Esp for the pool happy hour after a day of exploring.

This is a surprisingly large place with a great variety of accommodation options as it provides 200 grassed caravan sites including large unpowered camping areas. There are a range of facilities nearby including a bistro, bar and a swimming pool. It's also just minutes from the Jabiru town. We were in the camping area but able to use many of the facilities available. Lovely views of a night time.

Stayed in a campervan at one of the many sites around the park. The amenities were OK with some a little better or worse, but you can always move if you are that unhappy. Camp kitchens were clean and easy to use. The pool area and bistro was like an oasis in the middle of the park - food was delicious and servings huge, and they were able to cater for my gluten free friend. Great location in between Ubirr and Nourlangie.

A Perfect Nature Retreat with comfort! We felt completely immersed in nature while enjoying the cozy comfort of being at home. This place gave us the *camping vibe* which is a nice memory of our past life. The atmosphere was so peaceful; at night, total silence let us fall asleep to the beautiful sounds of nature, ensuring deep nights. Mornings began with five-star-worthy bagels and lattes, absolutely outstanding! And the restaurant? We enjoyed good dinners with a menu that kept us excited for every meal. If you want a serene escape where nature meets comfort, this is the place.

The thing that really stood out to me and my partner, was the incredible staff and old school service and hospitality! We were stranded after car trouble and everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay even though they were effectively fully booked. I will be forever grateful, and will definitely be back when next in Kakadu. Thank you Aurora Lodge! : ) The lodge is also very conveniently located and fully equipped. Big variety of accommodation options for all different sorts of travellers. Great pool area and licensed bistro, BBQ stations scattered throughout the camping areas with fridges, fully equipped large kitchen in the lodge area and beautiful big shady trees.

Stayed in a queen cabin which was almost brand new. Well stocked with comfy bed and nice towels. We made use of the camp kitchen to bbq some dinners and the incredible cool swimming pool to cool down after a big day out. Loved it and we can’t wait to return

This place had potential. Disappointingly, our initial greeting was aloof at best bordering on gruff. Amenities weren't cleaned for the 3 days we were there, nor did they appear to have been cleaned some time prior. Van sites were excellent and lay out is great. We weren't notified about the slide night presentation which we would've attended had we known. Pool looked dirty compared to all the other places we've stayed

Customer service was amazing, the lady that served me was super helpful and friendly. Plenty of spots for a nice shaded site, unreal pool and bistro set up! Price is reasonable for the area. Would recommend and will be back!

Yelp
4 stars for the accommodation, 5 for the food. Accommodation: A wide range of options from stand-alone cabins which I think are fully fitted with their own bathrooms, to individual rooms (which I stayed in) with shared facilities (including kitchen), to caravan parking. Ambience: Surprisingly quiet and relaxing. A good laid back place to serve as a base for visiting other places around Kakadu. Amenities: Okay bathroom which was clean enough. Fully fitted kitchen. Only two washing machines and hand basin for clothes. Central check-in area had some food and souvenirs opened at 7AM but don't remember when it closed. Camp area is accessed by road which is barred by code-control so you do have some security beyond just locking the room doors. In the center of the place there is a pool, spa and bar/restaurant - all outdoors. Can get a little busy at peak hours in evening. Service: Staff were great. helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions and tours. They signed us up for two tours which were great (do the South Alligator Bird one @ sunrise or sunset for best fauna viewing). Food: Their restaurant was a complete revelation - probably the best food we had in the Top End and that's saying something. Had kangaroo one night and barramundi the next. Large portions cooked to perfection (which is tricky for too, trust me). Plenty of drinks options and everything pretty reasonably priced. Price: Very good considering the other places nearby. I'd recommend this as a place to stay but urge you to go out of your way to dine there.

Yelp
Good clean and friendly- the sort of place you need and are happy to stay at when you're travelling through Kakadu. Buffet daily breakfast has sufficient choice to cater for most peoples needs and you can assemble a fairly healthy breakfast too from the choices available. There's a pool on site and a petrol station for fuel and a shop for any essential items you might need. Recommended.
