Aurora Medical Center Summit

The new phone system stinks! You call and have to wait forever and you no longer get someone who works there, these people work from home or some other place. I used to be able to get a person at the desk right away and got to talk to the nurse pretty quick if I needed it. Now you ask to talk to nurse and they send your number and info to them and maybe you will hear back a couple hours later. Same with trying to make an appointment. I wonder how pro health care phone system work. Is it worth getting all new doctors because of a stupid phone system? But let say you need to call the billing department, you get human right away. Not shocking!

Went to see my son after surgery. The doctor called and said he was in recovery. This hospital is like a dead zone. No one at reception. Finally a security guard guided us to a family waiting room and were told a nurse and/or doctor would talk to us shortly about his condition and when we could see him. Waited for over 3 hours and still no one so went to the nurses station and were rudely told to go wait in the family room and someone will talk to you shortly. Then shift change and still no one.

Nicole at front desk and Star were so awesome made are stay here verry wonderful helped us out so much . Got us into our room verry fast. Helped us find cafeteria quick when my blood sugar went low highly recommend this hospital...

I showed up to the ER at the worst possible time…right as Flight for Life landed in the parking lot. Everyone was still lovely. They even apologized for my wait. I had many tests, x-rays and CT scan. They tell me service is usually much faster, but I can’t complain. I can snap a couple pictures of my room, which looks like it was decorated by Ox. (joke. who cares what the room looks like?) I would definitely come here again, although I hope I won’t need to.

My dad was transferred to your facility from Fond du Lac on October 9th. He was taken to ICU for pneumonia. I want to thank some of the nurses that were very special and caring. Kyleigh was outstanding. She was very compassionate and understanding. My dad called her Miss Sunshine. Also, Anna, I believe was her name, was very good. Dr Sultan was very caring and explained things to us. Unfortunately, my dad passed away of respiratory pneumonia and COVID pneumonia on 10/14/25. Appreciate all the ICU did for him. During the time we stopped all medications and oxygen ( with no hope of getting better) the staff brought us water, coffee and snacks as we prepared and prayed during his final goodbye. Sherry Olson

I just had a colonoscopy and I wanted to say how wonderful Dr. Strupp was. He explained everything in such a nice caring manner. The nurses were also awesome. They answered my questions and were so caring as well. Thank you so much for everything!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Orrey’s for several years, and I have always felt heard and understood by her, I’d recommend her 100 times over! This new location that her practice has moved to, however, is terrible. Imagine driving 45mins to continue seeing your same provider, it’s your first time going to this location, so you get a little turned around, but you make it to the receptionist EIGHT MINS after your scheduled appointment time. You then wait for them to check in a patient ahead of you. You wait another 5mins while both receptionist are busy on the phones. Just for them to end their calls and tell you that you’re now “13mins late to check-in, therefore the NP will no longer see you.” I tried reasoning with them, no dice. If you have an appointment with family med at this location, don’t you dare be late, or they’ll turn you straight away. Even if you’re a long established patient who drove 45mins… for an appointment THEY CALLED YOU TO SET UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. 0/10

I had my son here. Excellent experience exceeded all my expectations. I still see an OB here who delivered my son and she has by far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Meredith Derrig
