Google
A lot of hype around the place which once was (!) a gem. Not quite convinced While the restaurant has an amazing interior with spacious dining rooms and a beautiful terrace, the food was quite mediocre for the price.

A true taste of Milan! This place offers traditional cuisine in a charming setting. Highly recommend trying the local specialties like saffron risotto and the classic Milanese cutlet. The staff is polite, adding to the authentic and welcoming experience. A great spot for anyone wanting to experience Milanese flavors!

Has a very typical Italian trattoria vibe (frequented by locals), the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and service is quick and polite. We tried the agnolotti which was a very tasty dish, simple but great, the Milanese pork cotoletta which was a tad underseasoned, and the vitello tonatto which was also very good. The only real con is the service charge and the water bottle that comes with it as a prerequisite, which adds ~10€ to a bill for a couple. Otherwise, it's a very solid option

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing place! We LOVED it! It was BY FAR our favorite restaurant in Milan! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the portions were super generous, also the prices were great for Milan standards. Please try the tiramisu too! One of my favorites ever!

Tagliatelle ai funghi porcini was so good — i’d return for that! it’s not always on the menu though. Service was slow even if the restaurant was not busy. We also had tarte tatin & panna cotta, tarte tatin was better.

Was told by a local they had best “authentic” food. Now, I’m not Italian, so I cannot vouch for authenticity. I can say, the hospitality is 5 stars. Appetizer local cheese and anchovies, 5 stars. The veal w gravy, 5 stars. The stir fried squid over potato puree, 5 stars. The Sangiovese wine, 5 stars.

The BEST osso buco!!! Was staying at Savona 18 hotel and found this gem down the street...ended up eating there twice and ordering the osso buco twice. Great atmosphere--cozy, charming, inviting, authentic! Great service--attentive, welcoming, friendly, funny. All-around one of the best dinners I had on my vacation! Try them!

Yelp
My AirBnB host recommended this place for traditional food. We did not not make any reservations to dine there on a late Saturday evening. It was busy, but my partner and I were seated promptly, perhaps luckily. Their entrance is plastered with multiple Michelin Guide recommendation stickers spanning between 2008 and 2016, so that was cool lol. Our server was very friendly and spoke English decently. The restaurant offered us this complimentary warm fried cheese dish that was very good. We also had their house red-wine, which was pretty good; mild, but slightly dry. Definitely get the osso-bucco. I got the steak w mustard sauce. I felt it was good but not exceptionally good as it seemed to be described. I was told the mustard sauce was very special. It could be a difference in palette. The mushroom pasta was very good. We had tiramisu as the dessert and it was one of the better tasting ones. Overall, I really enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend for traditional cuisine.

Yelp
What an AMAZING restaurant and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was so attentive and hospitable. The ambience was perfection. The wine recommendation was on point and food and dessert was some of the best I've ever had. This will definitely be in the rotation when spending time in Milan!!
