Simple yet convenient and peaceful place for staying in Auroville.. staff are very loving and accommodating. Offer simple, tasty and sumptuous dinner and breakfast.. Also provide bicycles for moving around in Auroville.. especially loved the Swaram wind chimes and the tall banyan trees in the clean and green compound.

Had an amazing experience at centre guest house. The place is so heavenly, it's surrounded by lush greenery and is just so blissful to walk around in the mornings, the staffs are incredibly friendly and they make u feel like u r at home and the food that they make is so authentic and so healthy as well. Truly couldn't have asked for better stay at auroville. Will definitely visit again soon!!! ✨

This is such a quiet peaceful place. All the employees were so friendly. Service was great. They serve breakfast and dinner and they provide laundry service. I have given five stars despite the limited wifi. If you need wi fi then you must go to the dining hall. It is open all day and night and is generally a pleasant experience. Hopefully, you wont spend alot of time using wifi and miss out on the beautiful scenery and serene environment, but the lack of wifi in the rooms could cause guests to stay somewhere else. The guest houses next to them provide wifi in the rooms. I would however, stay here again. Dont miss the experience of this beautiful place by staying in your room using wifi. My only other concern is that some of the paths leading to some of the rooms are not well lit. This could be a safety hazard. If they put a few solar powered lights in the ground near the paths it would be helpful. But staying here was still a five star experience for me.

Visited Auroville from 4th - 7th December 2024, and stayed at CGH for 3 nights in the ground floor room Rose. I had opted for AC and attached bathroom. Room was spacious for two, I was visiting with my 80+ year old mother, and was senior citizen friendly. Amenities in the room were basic but clean, although some water-logging problem in the bathroom, with dents on the floor slabs. All things were functional though, including the AC. Tea and coffee available throughout the day in the community dining space and there are timings for breakfast and dinner. Food is too good. Anthony, Jaya and others have magic cooking skills! simple and tasty food. Ample amount. I did not need lunch after the generous breakfast. Wi-fi is available only in the dining space. The front office and staff were very friendly and I had a lovely time chatting with them - Rudula, Dodo and Cristina. I had to book an auto to take us around, which was also advised by Dodo. Was a splendid local person and he took us for both short trips within Auroville and long trips to Puducherry and back, all of the 3 days that we stayed. Walking distance from solar kitchen and several other spots on the map. Before we travelled, booking was easy, via the email provided on the auroville site of guesthouses. We took a taxi from Chennai airport - the taxi operator contact (Ganavelu) was also advised by Dodo upon my request. Very professional service from the operator and we booked taxi via his transport service. Overall, lovely stay and would like to make another trip in the future, staying at CGH!

Auroville Crnter guest house is the best place to explore Auroville and its neighborhoods. It is located in the center (as suggested in the name 😉), it is nice and quiet. Laundry of a few daily items is included, as well as breakfast and dinner. Food is prepared with love and facilities are really take care of. Rooms are clean and charming. Also they can provide you good contacts for anything you could need like renting a scooter at a reasonable price with Mani. Highly recommended ❤️

The Centre Guest House totally lives up to its name—it's smack dab in the middle of everything you wanna see in Auroville. The staff? Super friendly, always greeting you with a warm smile. And don't even get me started on the food—delicious doesn't even cover it. If you're heading to Auroville, this spot is a no-brainer. Highly recommend it!

Center Guest House is a good place to stay in Auroville, they provide you breakfast & dinner, easy access to places within. Cristina a wonderful lady to associate with and got all the assistance from her during the stay. Planning to go back and just stay there and enjoy the garden, the people around you.
