Meets the 3SAB criteria for me! Shower aircon bed! Showers are nice n hot, aircons really cold (and filters super clean! All former country & remote hotel/motel housekeeping dept staff- when you know you know haha) , beds SUPER comfy. Reception lass good vibes 👌 was really cool hearing my colleague bust out her conversational french talking to the housekeeping staff member on the first morning. No idea what they said lol. THE most adorable large furry security officers 🐾 weve ever encountered- not sure it they'd stop a burglar but they will most assuredly clean up any accidental crumbs from your continental breakfast 🥰😅

We were arriving late on a very hot day and asked twice that they please put on the air conditioning for us, when we arrived at 7.30 and 38 degrees the room was hotter than outside ( not on )and the aircon was so loud when we put it on, took 4 hrs to get some sort of coolness to try sleep. The room was not even close to clean with spiders and dead bugs. Blinds that do not fit the window with large lights everywhere lighting up the room. The manager never replied when I tried calling or to my message. Drive on people.

Rooms are not as good as 10 years ago when we first visited but are still clean. Staff is very friendly. And the two dogs we bumped into are cute.

On arriving I had to go hunt for the manager to get a key after being promised a text with the lock box code. They hadn’t bothered to turn the aircon on ahead of our arrival. It is a hot night. Room cooled fairly quickly. One double power point at the bed head. Aircon plugged in here so I chose C-pap machine over a bedside lamp. My husband and I had to share the one towel and face washer provided. The cockroach pictured on the wall should be dead behind the bed from my fatal blow. Comfortable bed. Clean room and amenities. Good value at $160 per night Dinner at the Commercial Hotel was superb. Manager was very polite but IMHO lacks training.

Quite well presented very very accommodating receptionist. The driveway in and around the units is quite tight, but with enough parking. The actual motel units are spacious and well laid out, a reasonable sized bathroom. Some of teh car parks are quite a distance from the central motel units.

Woeful service from the management. Everything else was OK. Beds good. But shower drain blocked everytime we showered. Water sat for hours. Stayed for 4 nights and reported shower on day 2 after first night. Clogged drains ran into car park and included shower water from multiple rooms (see picture). Management could not care less. Have stayed many times visiting meekatharra. This was the last time.

Most unhygienic motel we’ve stayed at in all WA. ||Why? ||Could not afford the more expensive rooms||so the next budget choice were Lodge rooms. ||At $120 for a double bed, bar fridge, kettle and small tv. Carpet was not fixed to floor and split across the room. Blow flies on the window sills. ||The bed was clean and the mattress was comfortable. A fist hole was on the inside of the door. ||Toilet sand showers were shared. Toilets were fairly clean. Showers and main tiled floor areas were very unclean. The urinal was badly stained with the tiled section so sticky shoes got stuck. ||Common kitchen area had a live in cat concealed in a corner with her kittens. The sink area was covered in dirty unwashed crockery, utensils etc. ||A dark, overused coloured tea towel was heaped on the sink. Open bags of rubbish, a dead tv were in one corner encouraging lots of flies. ||Another bench area was strewn with odd menus of cans of food stuck to the surface as they were bloated and leaking. While other items such as containers with cooked meat and herbs riddled with parasites. ||Then there was the fridge with an array of perishable foods that were perished and rotting. ||A health inspector would have a field day. ||My wife and I stayed the one night. We spoke to management who accepted our list of issues with a simple sorry about that. ||Hopefully the photos will show some of these issues. ||So, be aware. The outside appearance looks ok, but…. Check out rooms first.

I had to book a budget room as there were no other rooms available. |Budget meant there was nothing else not couldnt afford a bettet room.|Some serious work needs to be done so the guest doesnt feel like a second class citizen.|The carpet in my room was stained and laid over existing carpet. How could I tell. It didnt fit properly.|No doors on the wardrobe.|All leads were plugged into an extension board on the floor. Even the kettle had to be placed on the floor to boil.|All the cups, glasses, tea/ coffee are available but no water.|Look in the refrigerator for water.|The only thing was an open can of beer.|The shared ammenities arent the best either.|The pipes for the mens urinal is coated in calcium.|
