Contrary to other reviews, I found the “apes” at the front of the bar particularly welcoming and friendly. Beer always cold and the staff here so efficient. I could have a number of different, positive things to say. The food is excellent; although be warned! It’s called XL for a reason, so be prepared to stretch your stomach. Rooms are simple and very clean. Great value and a total recommend from me.

Great Aussie sports bar. Very friendly staff and owners, a great place to watch a game and meet some people. The food is exceptional and very inexpensive. Their daily promotions are a nice touch and we love frequenting this well respected establishment.

Great place for a beer and a change of food after a couple of weeks of Vietnamese food (not that I'm complaining 😋). Great atmosphere with the group I was with and less than 10min walk from the Onra Hotel where we were staying.

At the time we went no atmosphere at all. Unfortunately we only stayed for one drink and left. Maybe on a busy night it would be ok.

Ignore all one star reviews. Place is great. Shows all sport. If the sport your after isn’t on screen then just ask. Foods great. Drinks are great. 10/10
