The place is very german like-vibe, with staff that doesn't speak English (which is also a bit of the charm in the place). I gave it a 3 star just because it was extremely expensive for 2 Shnitzels and a beer that were OK that cost us 62€ without service.!

Delectable Vienna schnitzel and perfect homemade Caesar salad dressing over shredded romaine lettuce engineered for maximum flavor. Really one of the best Caesar salads I’ve had. Dessert was a must have custardy apple cake that was amazing.

Amazing food and service! The waitor is really kind and funny. We were one of the last guests of the evening and he served us a local snaps for free that we cheered with locals with. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want traditional German food.

Perfect choice for a traditional Deutsches restaurant. Tasty food, beautifully arranged. Quiet music and service with attention to client's expectations. The waitress kindly gave me the WiFi access. I'm definitely recommending the restaurant for family dinner and celebration occasions.

Four friends and I had a wonderful experience at this German restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – I especially enjoyed the liver, which was super tasty and beautifully presented. We also shared a first dish among the five of us, and it was a great start to our meal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with authentic interiors that added to the charm. The restaurant is impressively managed by just two people, making the experience feel personal and special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of authentic German cuisine!

I wish this place really re-branded because this was the best meal I had in Berlin. I ordered the veal and I was blown away. The decor doesn't quite match the amazing things they are doing in the kitchen here.

We had dinner here with my husband and we both enjoyed a delicious typical meal. The schnitzel with fried potatoes and the spätzel with mushroom ragout were both delicious. The woman that took care of us was full of kindness and attention. Thank you! If we come back to Berlin, we'll visit again!

Food was absolutely amazing and my dad is a retired chef from Scaramouche in Toronto Canada still to this day one or Toronto's very best restaurants. The preparation and time which no doubt goes into each and every dish is definitely potential Michelin star material. A must in Berlin seriously try the dumplings and the schnitzel...

Yelp
I tried something unexpected and was pleasantly surprised. The food, the service and ambiance were wonderful. The place reminded me of the actual Cheers pub in restaurant but in a Berlin style. The restaurant is part of Hotel Kastanienhof in which I'm staying. I'm sure I'll be back for another meal!

Yelp
I ordered the ham and asparagus. It was below average. Didn't expect the ham to be cold cuts. It really wasn't worth the money, €22. Service is fine, atmosphere is light and cozy. I wouldn't recommend based on the quality of the food. I won't be coming back.
