The California omelet was great, little heavy on the spinach but still very tasty and filling. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the staff is friendly.

This place is amazing, wonderful atmosphere amazing great food and even better Cold brew coffee on tap, like a beer tap stepped for 72 hours and so good.

Super nice experience. You go in grab a menu order at the front and choose your own seating. We got our coffee right away and it was amazing!! Ordered the caramel knowledge and my husband got a white mocha. If you order the food you absolutely need to try the Crab Cake Egg Benedict!! Sounds weird but it's amazing! Not dry at all and perfect portion sizes. Also the hash potatoes are super good and flavorful not dry or burnt or mushy! Please please go here! Will go here again for sure. Thank you!!!

I've read reviews that say the coffee here isn't that great, but I'm a big fan of their pecan roast coffee. I don't take sugar in my coffee, and this one has a natural sweetness to it that is very good. I love that this place has an outdoor patio with outlets and they have a pretty diverse food menu and it's all pretty good.

Awesome variety of coffee which shouldn't surprise given the name of the establishment, but what I didn't know was they have a good breakfast menu too. Large portions, good value, definitely a solid breakfast spot. Lots of locations around Austin too.

They have a great salad and sandwich selection but surprisingly I've never thought to try any of their coffee drinks. There are better local places to get brew but this is definitely a good lunch spot. The prices are fair for the quality/eating out and I've never had a poor experience with any of the wait staff.

Austin Java has been consistently above average each time we go. The food is always good, but not *quite* as good as you expect when reading the menu. It's certainly good enough to go back. The drip coffee wins AND loses for being a self-serve pump machine. I'm sure it gets replaced relatively quickly, so the coffee itself is fresh enough, but I can't help but think it could be done better. Obviously it's nice to have unlimited refills at your own discretion. The egg dishes are always tasty, combining classic breakfast with Austin Tex-Mex flavors. It's a good place to go on a lazy weekend when you can't decide where to go but you don't really care if it's really good. They do have a very nice, dog-friendly patio out front to enjoy when the weather isn't in the triple digits, so bonus points for that!

I don't get the hype about their coffee. It's nice that they have more than one dairy milk alternative, but the service is so-so, and the coffee ain't that great, either. I've never had the pastries or sandwiches, but I am interested in trying them. If I try this place out again, I will definitely buy one or two, because they look good, especially the cookies.
