We had a small caravan and stayed in the Riverside power sites with our 2 dogs. Sites are a little haphazard but large enough at this time of year to get privacy. No off leash area for the dogs so probably best for small fur babies, not big and boisterous ones. Amenities are average but clean. There are newish accessible toilets and showers that are very good.

Grate staff friendly service. Fantastic facilities clean. Unfortunately running a business & trying to keep up emails & such found the free 2hours of WiFI a waste of time because it was non-existent. As we run motels for a living we understand the difficulties in technology especially over large areas like camp grounds but the technology does exist but sometimes the lack of will from the owners to install it may be causation.

I travelled to Austin Tourist park with my wife and my wife's parents for a holiday from Brisbane and found the stay so far an exceptional experience with all staff we interacted with exceptionally politely. We all stayed in queen deluxe cabins and found these accommodations very spacious and easy to get around as we all had some form of disability. My cabin had a dishwasher and all the utensils to be able to make a nice meal. The TV was great as it came with Netflix so I was able to sign in to my account to watch movies just like at home.|I would really recommend these Queen Deluxe Cabins for people with disabilities and people that have a largish family|Thank you Austin Tourist Park for the great experience we had|Gerard B

Lovely caravan park and lovely staff. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the amenities were very clean. One tip - DON'T book a riverside site. A half hour after we set up a colony of flying foxes arrived (there were thousands of them!) and set up camp in the trees above the riverside sites. They were SUPER noisy and it took over an an hour to clean the car and van in the morning - they were literally covered in bat droppings. It was really disgusting. We'd go back again but not on a riverside site!!

Love this park, have stayed previously and it's always handy to do an overnighter or stay a few days.|Very welcoming on arrival and were given another site which was more convenient as we were only doing a drive through this time round so we could stay hitched.|Amenities were very clean, park is extremely well maintained and easy to get in and our of. Best of all they are pet friendly.

Good size for two people (sleeps 6). Reasonably clean (but more attention to the corners of the shower recess would be good) bed a bit firmer than my dodgy old hips appreciate and the bedside lamps are JUST where your head would normally go. Pub next door.

A lovely dog friendly caravan park! Lots of trees and space. Lovely next to the river. Amenities are older but clean. Staff were so polite and helpful.

Loved this park. Staff were helpful, friendly and could not do enough for us. The showers were well designed and very clean. Toilets were also clean. I would recommend this park. We plan to stay again in the future and hope others do. You will be impressed.

Review If you complain about the loud music from the pub next door to the G'day Tamworth Austin Tourist Park, the owner will mockingly tell you to call the police. If you complain about the sweaty foam-slab mattress, the arrogant owner does not care. If you suggest fraud as you were not told in advance of these, and other failings, ie broken toilet seat and loud aircon, the arrogant owner will shout "Fxxx Off" loudly and then throw you out. If you seek help from G'day Group, you get drivel.
