I deliberately came here for the experience as I heard so much about its well-known rude customer service. I was not disappointed.
I was well prepared before I walked in, I.e. knowing what I'd order (in case if the staffs were impatient) & had enough cash (as they only accepted cash). However, I was still being told off by a staff due to I didn't understand what he asked. I spoke in fluent Cantonese but I still didn't understand what he said, which later I found out because he said every word in abbreviations, like when he asked me whether if I wanted my eggs in "fired eggs' or "scrambled eggs", he would just say: you wanted "fired" or "scram"...etc? Fortunately, there was a nice young couple on my table who did the translation for me... Before the staff walked away, he muttered something in swearing words, saying I wasted his time, which was excellent!
The foods were good, simple but tasty! I love the roasted pork macaroni as the broth was delicious; the pan-fried eggs & ham were tasty. I love the fragrance from the HK milk tea, too!
Almost every customer would need to share the table with strangers so seating wasn't comfortable, but it's a cozy, nice atmosphere inside sitting with the locals.
Afterall, the main purpose for me to come here was to experience the rude customer service & I got what I asked for, and the foods were not bad too so I was satisfied!
