Australia Post - York LPO

Sharon Macdonald is not only inept in her position at York Post Office, she is also extremely rude and abrupt when dealing with customers. Our first experience with her was when collecting the keys to our PO Box. It had been paid for by a third party and when we explained, she went out the back only to return to say "I've got nothing here." We pushed the issue and suddenly she found the key! She asked for no Identification and then simply threw the key across the counter at us. Calmly, we explained to her that we ordered 2 keys. Again and with the manner of an ogre, she went out the back, found a second key and threw that across the couner too! Now, she has lost a parcel I was expecting. After assuring me she would be in touch, she made no attempt at all. After presenting several times myself to chase it up, her attitude became more surly and impatient. After 16 days she wrote me a mocking letter informing me that the parcel was not for me. She provided no proof, no apology and I simply do not believe her! Ms Macdonald is a stain on York Post Office and ought to be ashamed of the way she treats most customers...I have seen it many times and of course people talk about their own experiences also.

Important padded envelope sent from my dentist and took 5 weeks to arrive from Perth to York. It was obviously lost at the York end because someone drove up the hill shoved it in the letterbox and took off. It was a standard size and would have normally come with the postie. This is not the first time either. NOT HAPPY!
