Unfortunately I was traveling in Feb 2025. We found this hotel on Booking.com. In their sales waffle, they are advertised as having 3 restaurants. On the strength of this fact and we were approx 200 miles away, we booked it, thinking, 'Great, we have an evening meal and a bed, simply park up and forget travelling'. However, while checking in, we asked what time the restaurants closed, just to be told they are closed from the start of Sunday, to the end of Wednesday.
This was NOT mentioned in any sales literature for this hotel. Needless to say, this was a major F'UP for us and we would NOT have booked this hotel had w known this little nuggetof information.
We were told we could get a bus down to a restaurant in the village, in freezing temps, with no idea how long the bus would take to pick us up.
Then we decided to drive to the restaurant and they had the cheek to ask, 'how many pieces of bread we had out of the basket, placed on our table', so they could calculate our bill... WTF!!!! But that's another review still to write...
Anyway. If booking this place. Phone them first to confirm if the restaurants are open.
Apart from this, the hotel was very nice, with very, very high cellings in our rooms...
