The Hotel is located on the hill and the entire city can be seen from it - very beautiful. The Hotel has a style and really feels like living in a castle. The parking is free and there is plenty of space. The but station is right at the Hotel and it takes 30-60min to get to city center. Our room had a 2nd floor, the wooden stairs unfortunately creaked a lot, so one needs to move slowly at night not to wake up the kids. The breakfast is good, the restaurant is also good, and staff is very friendly. Overall I recommend the Hotel.

Perfect location with spectacular view of the entire city. Clean fresh air. Rooms are really cozy, clean, staff is great, free parking. Overall great for families with kids, not far from the city center by bus which runs regularly with stop nearby.

We stayed at Springer Schlossel hotel recently. It’s a good functional hotel but is probably geared more to a conference guest rather than tourists. The rooms were functional (though the beds were a bit firm). Breakfast at the hotel was excellent. It has car parking outside and the hotel is set in park like grounds which would be pretty in summer. (We were there in winter). The walk up to the hotel off the street is a bit steep so isn’t great from an accessibility perspective. On the plus side it’s convenient to the Schönbrunn palace which was the best Christmas market that we went to in Vienna. The subway is also nearby the palace (about a 7-10 minute walk).

The location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the city from the mountain. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a good variety of options. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet, ensuring a restful stay.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights on business to visit the boat fair in Thulln. We took a premium room with breakfast. The bed is upstairs and you have a beautiful view if it's not foggy. the lower part of the room is a small living room and toilet. the room was very clean and the staff was friendly. breakfast was a buffet. large free parking lot in front of the hotel. Vienna very close. it is better to go by public transport than to look for parking in Vienna. all in all, we were very satisfied, so we are coming back this year.

Unfortunately I was traveling in Feb 2025. We found this hotel on Booking.com. In their sales waffle, they are advertised as having 3 restaurants. On the strength of this fact and we were approx 200 miles away, we booked it, thinking, 'Great, we have an evening meal and a bed, simply park up and forget travelling'. However, while checking in, we asked what time the restaurants closed, just to be told they are closed from the start of Sunday, to the end of Wednesday. This was NOT mentioned in any sales literature for this hotel. Needless to say, this was a major F'UP for us and we would NOT have booked this hotel had w known this little nuggetof information. We were told we could get a bus down to a restaurant in the village, in freezing temps, with no idea how long the bus would take to pick us up. Then we decided to drive to the restaurant and they had the cheek to ask, 'how many pieces of bread we had out of the basket, placed on our table', so they could calculate our bill... WTF!!!! But that's another review still to write... Anyway. If booking this place. Phone them first to confirm if the restaurants are open. Apart from this, the hotel was very nice, with very, very high cellings in our rooms...

Veru nice hotel, was very quiet during our stay, rooms have a "vintage" vibe to it, spacious and comfy beds. Very friendly staff, food was good. Parking was free and available.

Yelp
We loved our stay here. It was only for one night, but we had a lovely time walking around the forested property and admiring the details of the building. The breakfast was out of this world - so many options and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The people who checked us in and out were superb, they put our stay over the top. We felt very lucky to get to experience this hotel.

Yelp
A good little once-palatial hotel located on the out skirts of Vienna. For the price it offers breakfast, and free parking on premises, which was our main concern. The location is a beautiful park-neighborhood of what once were the gardens of the property, up on a hill top, and if you get the room with a view you see the town at your feet. The breakfast is great. It has both hot and cold choices, and taking it on the veranda is a great start of your day- eggs, hams, breads, cheeses, pastries, fruits, yoghurts, there's a bit of everything here and only €5 if you'd like to have them bring it to your room. The public transportation works and there's a bus station right outside the hotel. I'm about 45 minutes you're downtown. Via Uber it's about €25 (depends on time and traffic) and about 25 minutes to town center so public for €5 and a full day pass is a good option. The carpets and furniture do show the aging of this ex-palatial residence. We personally didn't care for the extra steps to the bed- the room is built as a comfortable loft- but our knees hurt from all the walking in this fantastic city! Lovely stay. Enjoy!

Yelp
Wonderfully located upon the higher surrounding hills of Vienna Schloß Wilhelminenberg is a hidden gem, but gives you a wonderful view of Vienna. The Saturday breakfast is such a wonderful surprise and what a great deal for 15 euros. And the Sunday buffet specials are even better, but don't forget to reserve your outside (kindergarten) seating with a view. The food tastes great and there is plenty to choose from. The outside seating is limited so don't show up late.
