We didn't find this great store until our 17th night. We leave the 18th. Grade A produce and variety.

They only sell old meat. They don't sell fresh cuts. Usa standards most meat is already expired

This is my regular AutoMercado. Friendly staff, clean place. Often there is a little chaos at the check out registers, with long lines, people making a purchase and then a pipi kid running up with more items, so you have to wait again for the to check out. Prices on some items are outrageous. If Auto could change one thing, it would be the points. It takes forever to get points and then they all expire before you even get to a lousy 3000 colones to use it. When I think of how much my bill is, and how often I go, and then I barely get 3000 colones of 'credit' from their point system and can't even use that before it expires, something is amiss. The whole system is more of a hassle than anything, not sure why I still put myself through that misery. In short, as far as AutoMercado's go, this one is a pretty good one given its cleanliness and selection of products.

Outrageously overpriced. Your weekly grocery bill can easily go over $600 if you shop here.. The selection is good; kind of like Vons, but not as good as California's Sprouts, and with prices twice as high. In 2022 expect to pay $15 for a bag of oranges, $30 for a kilo of nuts and $36 for a single glass tupperware...

If you are an expat auto mercado will have some of the products from the US that most other stores don't carry very efficient and professional but a little more pricy

This supermarket chain has many imported products that others won't. There is also a tiny coffee shop inside as well. Veggies and fruits are quite curated and fresh.

Expensive... but it has all the imported products you want for your cousine. I buy there what I cant find elsewhere. Good meat department that has sales on Wednesdays.
