"Why did this hotel catch your attention? What's the vibe?  Located just a minute's walk from the Russian River amidst the majestic redwoods, AutoCamp, with its custom 31-foot long silver Airstreams, brings back the '50s in luxe style. When the campers take seats around the private fire pits, and the string lights start to twinkle, the camping magic gets real. What's the backstory? The first AutoCamp opened in Santa Barbara in 2013. Russian River followed a few years later and more recently, Yosemite and Cape Cod locations were added to the portfolio. For the Russian River location, the team worked with the San Francisco's Geremia Design to make the airstreams a comfortable, modern experience. The anchor is the clubhouse—a midcentury-inspired building—where guests can check-in, play board games, or chill around the fire pit. Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? You might be in the woods, but the comfort that awaits you in your Airstream matches most luxury hotels. Marble tiles in the bathrooms, Tempur-pedic mattresses, Ursa Major bath products, spa shower, and Schoolhouse Electric light fixtures are just some of the details that put AutoCamp high up on best glamping lists. Also, the private dining area with the fire pit is a significant bonus. Don’t forget to stock up on s’ mores. If you do want a bit more of a camping experience, AutoCamp also offers tents. Don’t worry, they're are luxurious, too. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? Yes, there is Wi-Fi! It's reasonably good too, considering you're out in the woods. But try not to get too hooked on it. This is a great place to practice some digital detox for a few days. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at? There is no restaurant on-site, but they have a small shop with general items like cheese, crackers, s’ mores kits, chips, and the like. Plus, each Airstream is equipped with serving ware, a private fire pit with grilling grates, and full BBQ equipment. If cooking's not your thing, Guerneville is just a short drive away with plenty of excellent food options. What type of travelers will you find here? San Francisco Millennials have discovered AutoCamp as their destination to they can go off the grid and reconnect with nature. Plaid button-downs, fedora hats, and hiking boots are the unofficial dress code. Whatever you wear, don’t forget to bring layers—evenings can get very cold. Bottom line: Why are we choosing AutoCamp? In the true disconnect to reconnect spirit, come here to unplug from your devices and daily to-dos. Hug a tree, go on a hike, dip your toes into the river and enjoy the deluxe camping magic." - Ana Kamin

This place is really fun to stay for a quick getaway! My husband, dog and I stayed for one night. We arrived at check in time (4pm) and no one was at the desk (there was a line) and our airstream wasn’t ready which was disappointing, but they gave us a free late checkout and a free fire bundle because of that which we appreciated. The airstream itself is really comfy, but note they’re all super close together so it can be noisy. We enjoyed playing games on the deck and using the wood bundle on our fire pit! They provide granola and coffee in the morning. My dog loved it here and overall it was a nice stay! Another note; when you check out you do have to pay a fee (I think it’s an amenities fee?) and if you have a dog, you’ll be charged as well. They don’t allow you to pay for the dog at the time you pay for your booking online.

For me, Autocamp Russian River was near perfection. Weather, comfort, charm, setting, service. It's got it all. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood just beyond the Guerneville "downtown" and surrounded by redwood trees, the Autocamp Russian River is mostly quiet. We stayed in one of the airstream trailers and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I think they said it is a tempur pedic mattress. I liked that if it is warm one can use the A/C or open the windows. ||The open air lobby is attractive and the selection of foods, wines, cheeses and camp supplies was really thorough. Though the airstream has a perfectly functioning bathroom with a shower, there is also a very very nice public bathroom with showers, towels and soaps in the lobby building. ||This property is very small. Less than a minute walk from anywhere on property to the lobby building. ||Blythe at the front desk was a real pleasure to speak with. She shared stories about the town and the area and was easy to talk to. I would certainly return to Autocamp Russian River and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.||My very favorite part of the resort is the picnic tables and hammocks in the redwood grove. I could have sat there all day!

I had a disappointing experience at this campsite due to the overly dense tent arrangement. The smoke from neighboring campfires (which used low-quality wood) constantly blew into our tent, filling the area with a strong, unpleasant smell. Because of this, we had to cancel our planned outdoor activities, and the smoke made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The poor air quality ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. Overall, I cannot recommend staying here.

Such an amazing experience. The photos don't do it justice. The staff are friendly, the trailers are nicely renovated and the bikes are a lot of fun. The trailers are close to each other but we always felt like we were in a private location. We really felt like we got our money's worth and can't wait to go back.

Staying at Autocamp Russian River was the most beautiful experience! My husband and I visited for our honeymoon, and the staff was so sweet and welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. The location is quiet and peaceful, and is centralized around the downtown area, beach, river, and hiking areas. We got the Redwood suite with the wood fired hot-tub and it was absolutely worth it. A great way to unwind after a long day of adventure. I want to shout out every staff member by name: Laurel greeted us upon check in, and even took the time to text me before arrival and offer to start the hot-tub in advance since it takes a couples hours to heat up. Todd was servicing our hot-tub throughout our stay and was amazing. He was very friendly and took the time to chat with us every time he came by. Blythe took the time to write us a card congratulating us on our marriage and even provided a couple of gifts (wine vouchers and bath soaks) She was super sweet and I loved chatting with her. And last but certainly not least, Jill helped us make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and helped us switch out some of our cooking utensils throughout our stay. She was also incredibly friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her while grabbing coffee in the morning. Our suite was quaint, but comfortable, and we loved having everything provided to us except food of course. It was easy to purchase firewood on site for the fire pit and super fun cooking over an open flame. If you are looking for a camping experience without all the hassle, this is a great option! We have nothing but good things to say about our stay and look forward to returning soon. This location is a gem with amazing staff!

Google
Nice to spend a couple of days and not far away from where you can kayak or go for a hike. Quiet at night. The only thing with our airstream suite, which is #16, was that there was no hot water at all so basically the shower was there but impossible to take a shower at all. We went to the bathroom in the common area, glad it was only a few walks away and it was really warm and nice. I would recommend airstreamers go there to have a shower even if there is hot water in your suite.

Google
My husband and I spent two nights here. For the price we paid we were pretty disappointed. One of the vents to cool the airstream was totally broken, hot water ran out within a few minutes of showering, the airstream wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and the wifi really didn't work. Also feel like "the amenities" were very upsold. This place is not worth it at all for the price.

Google
This has become my new favorite place in the Bay Area! Nice heated lounge and a small cute common area that has a fire pit. Super fancy public bathrooms with 2 shower stalls. Shiny airstream trailers that are very spacious inside. The campsite gets quiet at 10pm. Everyone was pretty respectful and no one was playing loud music or talk/play outside past 10pm on a Saturday night. You get to enjoy your own campfire. There is a fire pit, 2 chairs, and a dining table at each airstream site. Good privacy with trees and bushes. Other people passing by your site can see you if you sit outside of your trailer, but at least you won’t be seen by your neighbors. The only downside is that you can’t really control how well you can sleep inside a trailer… not specific to this campsite but really any campsite. If it rains hard at night, which happened to us, then you would be kept awake all night from the loud raindrops on the rooftop. Overall, this was a great weekend getaway not too far of a distance from the busy and boring South Bay! Very high end glamping experience. I must say that this place is smart and definitely targeting the right market which is the high income and exhausted Bay Area folks.

Yelp
We didn't think we'd enjoy our stay as much as we did. Great way to disconnect from the world. We visited during Labor Day weekend, and was expecting it to be super busy. Such an intimate location. Only a few air streams and tents. Each tent/auto stream has their own seating area and fire pit. They recently connected with Hilton honors, so if you have status--they provide you firewood and a smores kit. For breakfast, they provide you granola and coffee/tea/hot cocoa. Also plenty of parking. They have free charging on site, only downside is that it is first come first serve. Super dog friendly. We loved our stay! We're already trying to plan our next trip.

Yelp
I loved my experience at AutoCamp. I have not been camping before so this was a great experience where we were still in nature but still had amenities such as a personal bathroom, shower, queen bed, etc. The airstream itself was clean and comfortable fit 2-3 people. During the summer season, they book up quickly so I would check out availability months out rather than last minute. When I was there, lots of family brought their young children. There are activities around such as going to the river that are family friendly. A selling fact for me is that you're able to bring your fur babies! Only thing they ask if for you to keep them leashed. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I would love to check out their other locations.

Tina S.

Yelp
This place was so nice! It's very well kept, clean, we loved the common area and staff. All the staff working the front each shift were so attentive, polite, friendly, quick to assist with any questions. They really made it a wonderful experience. The airstream was perfect! It came with everything we needed. The only things I could say to make the experience even better: Offer movie night on the grass area or by the hammocks early evening. Change out the barstools in the common area, they are not that comfortable. Other than that, the common area bathroom and showers is very Spa like! The complimentary wine tasting, live music, breakfast granola, tea, coffee is wonderful! I'd come back here again and again! Thank you for making our family trip comfortable and unforgettable!

Henry L.

Yelp
A great spot if you need to get away from the city and have a glamping experience. Since all the Airstreams are equipped with a full kitchen, all you need to bring are foods, drinks, ingredients for cooking. You will also have an outdoor dining area as wells The airstreams are hooked up to water systems, and there are showers and a standard toilet/sink in the bathroom. They did a nice job making the airstreams more chic and elegant. The fan systems don't seem to work well, and I've found this to be a common problem among a lot of airstreams. But you can just pop open the windows for the same effect. The fire pits and amenities are a very nice touch, to add sone glamour to the outdoor experience.

Yelp
It was the perfect glamping getaway renting an airstream for our girls weekend getaway. The campground is very well maintained, though a bit strange finding it nestled in a little neighborhood of homes. Our airstream was tucked away in the back with a babbling brook just right outside. Inside the airstream was spacious, yet oh so cozy. The bed was comfortable, adequate lighting was provided, bathroom with shower was clean, cooking amenities were useful. We built a fire outside to cook our meals, and sat around the campsite table whilst enjoying the crisp spring air. It did rain one of the nights and the peltering sounds of raindrops was less than soothing. *couch turned sofa bed was tolerable; not bad, neither was it pleasant. They offered a yoga class one day which we participated in. They also had happy hour in the afternoon with yummy wines from local wineries. We sat in front of one of the big fire pits in the lobby to talk story. A very modest breakfast was offered, but best to make your own. The autocamp is not too far from town so we ate at a local restaurant one day. We also had drinks at the town's watering hole. A quick drive took us to a short hike through the redwoods. We were fortunate to make it to the beach where a gorgeous view of the ocean was there for us to enjoy. Most definitely recommend!!!

Yelp
Sometimes we all need time away from the routine of making a living and slow down our pace. Camping is great for those who can handle all of nature's glory. Auto camp is ideal for those who want the balance of outdoor and the familiarity of hotel hospitality. First timers no need to be confused if you are passing through a neighborhood. You are on the path of the right direction. There will be a gate to your left. As everyone has mentioned there is contactless check in via text message. In the text message they provide information that includes the airstream unit #, the passcode to open the door, and front entrance gate. In terms of parking we had no issue and not to mention complimentary. There is also a charging station for electric cars. Yes, yes auto camp is surrounded by homes of the town. During our stay it didn't bother us and brought a little charm to our visit. Upon entrance there are wagons for use to trek belongings from your car to the airstream. The units are close in proximity within each other. Each one comes with an outdoor pit for cooking and making a fire with the usual tables and chairs. When packing for this overnight trip I packed household commodities thinking there would be none. Oh, I was so wrong! Part of the price you pay for is the detail and convenience they put in for your trip. Upon entry there is a mat for your shoes which is a nice touch. To your right there are knobs for you to hang your jackets etc with a place for you to sit to and take foot wear off. Underneath that seat is also the control for the heat for the "living room" area. There is a thermostat in the bedroom as well. In the kitchen there is everything you need including kitchen scissors, alcohol openers, hand/dish towels, paper towels, dish soap/sponge, bowls, plates, utensils, cast iron, salt/pepper etc. There is also a microwave, mini fridge, and dustpan/mini broom. For the mini fridge you need to turn it on for it to work. The on button is inside of the mini fridge. There are two reusable water bottles for each unit. Keep those to refill with their filtered water in the 24 hour lounge! The bathroom is supplied with amazing fragrant lotion, shampoo, bath towels and such! The citrus riot handwash scent reminded me of the nearby Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. There actually is a full size toilet! Even though we found it to be surprisingly satisfactory clean I would suggest doing a deep clean of the floor and redoing the grout. Bedroom was a fan favorite for all of us. Perfect dim lighting for unwinding. There was no toss and turn and we rested well into the night and had energy for the next day. As auto camp is thoughtful, there are outlets on both sides of the bed for charging cell phones. There is a tv for those who like to end the day with a little television in the background. Our fur baby loved the bed throw at the foot of the bed and slept soundly. He did not want to leave the bed! Now to the 24 hour lounge! There are seats for socializing and lounging both indoor and outdoor. There is staffing to also help with your needs from 7 am- 10 pm. There are days with happy hour and other activities which I'm assuming are more for the weekends. Even though the "store" is small it has a lot to offer including smores kits, alcohol, and quick snack bites. There is a Safeway that is a few minutes drive from the location which is where we got our bratwurst etc. They have coal and wood for purchase as well. There is charcoal lighter liquid that you can use. Trust me, it makes a difference in making a good fire! Don't forget there are matches in your kitchen. Did I mention breakfast is covered from 7 am-11 am? Pastries and granola with a variation of hot drinks and hot water. It is light, so have a second breakfast prepared. When it comes to pricing it is all opinion. As it still is winter and on a weekday our stay was well worth our money. Expect the summer or weekends in general to be more expensive. Just keep a lookout on their calendar! In terms of "outdoor nature" there are tons of state parks and beaches within 30 minutes. You can definitely expect us to come again! Auto camp has locations in other states that I'm very curious and plan on visiting in the future!

Yelp
The Airstreams were amazing. The bed was big and so comfortable. The sheets, pillows and covers felt like a nice warm hug, I actually got a good night's sleep. The bathroom was surprisingly big for a trailer. It's probably bigger than the bathroom in our first home! The shower was very spacious, the water pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. This place has thought of everything it seems. For example, there is a small grill for every camper so you can cook, free bikes to rent, a communal fire pit, radio flyer style wagons to haul your stuff, and the list goes on and on. This was a real fun way to spend a few days. We'd love to come back again soon.

Yelp
I hesitate to post this review, as I do think most people have had good service and experiences but I am so appalled that this happened, and while the camp director did reach out after I submitted the satisfaction survey, he has not replied after I gave him details and pictures. We booked 3 nights after the holiday weekend. As we settled in for the night, I noticed that a throw blanket that was on the couch had a strong smell of urine, as if an animal or a person had relieved themselves on it. Unfortunately, my son was sitting on it when I realized where the smell was coming from. I quickly threw the blanket outside and let the staff know. It was late and I didn't really know what to do, and there likely wasn't vacancy or other options so I covered the couch with the sheets and hoped for the best. We decided to make the best of it, and continue our stay. But after this, I was hyper-aware of the overall maintenance of the cabin. For $437 a night, we were expecting a high-end, resort-level experience, but what we got was: * Window blinds that were not functioning and the sills had a layer of dust * Large cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling fixtures (pipes and light) * Toilet was rickety * Faucet had a lot of visible grime when turned on * Mysterious stains on the couch * Doormat outside had a lot of long white dog hair, and there was a slight odor of dog * One of the drawers had dead bugs or bug casings that appeared on the 2nd day Overall, these are small things we could have overlooked as part of being outdoors and nature and whatnot, but compounded with the blanket incident showed an incredible lack of maintenance and cleanliness. How well are these rooms cleaned between guests? How did the staff not notice that the blanket was presumably wet and STUNK OF URINE while refolding and setting it on a couch? If you charge a fee to bring in pets, shouldn't there have been additional cleaning specifically to address? The fact that I had to handle a biohazard with my bare hands was not a vacation achievement I wanted to unlock. It was really hard to relax when I was constantly smelling phantom (or not) urine. Ultimately, we did decide to stay but it really soured the rest of our visit. The campgrounds are beautiful and we were able to enjoy the surrounding areas. The staff was very kind and felt bad for us and offered us some treats so the extra stars are for them, but I would have much rather pay for firewood and s'mores than to have to deal with a potential health hazard.

Yelp
Need a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city? Autocamp - Russian River is perfect for that. Prices used to be around $100+/night for an air streamer but throughout the years it's risen up to $300+/night. They offer self-check-in and check-out. Perfect for those who are introverted or prefer a contactless check-in and check-out process like myself. You are able to bring your dog but I believe there's an extra fee for bringing your fur babies. The air streamers are super spacious, modern, and clean. You can order wood, a s'mores kit, etc on the website that they provide and the staff will bring it right to your air streamer. They had bikes readily available for customers so I was able to ride around Guerneville and go visit the town. If you're planning to watch Netflix, Hulu, etc on the tv bring your laptop and HDMI cord as they only have network channels on the tv. I had a lovely time and I would 100% come back again.

Yelp
My husband and I have been wanting to go to AutoCamp for the last five years. We chose this location as opposed to Yosemite because we wanted to be close to the redwoods and the beach. The location is great however, I was disappointed by the quality of the trailer. The grounds were very nice and the staff was extremely friendly. The price of the trailer because it was off-season was somewhat reasonable. In addition, we did not have to stay more than one night. During season, you have to book a minimum of two nights. Being that it is an airstream trailer I expected top-of-the-line accommodations. That was not the case. It seemed like it had been worn. There were no grills to grill your own food. There was no stove to cook in the trailer, the fridge was a minimum size fridge, that would be available in a hotel room, and there was no table to eat inside the trailer. If it more than just my husband and I, there will be no place to sit in the trailer. This was considered a luxury trailer one of their biggest. Also, there was only one TV which was in the bedroom. Since it was raining, it was a disadvantage. This location is outside Guerneville, so restaurants are at minimum. There is a Safeway, but since you can't cook your own food or even grill out, the only thing that you possibly can get are sandwiches. The coast is about 20 minutes and Bodega Bay is probably about 45 minutes . The property is has three fire pits two in the lobby and one on the lawn, however, the outside fire pit was not working. There were some great hiking trails in the Redwoods that we took advantage of. Overall, it was a great experience to stay in an Airstream trailer to see if we really liked it, though I was disappointed by the quality of it. For $450 or so a night I probably could've stayed someplace a lot nicer. You are definitely paying for the experience...

Yelp
What an amazing location! A friend rented out the whole camp for her wedding, and it was absolutely magical. Nestled among the redwoods and down the street from downtown Guerneville, you're in nature but close to great shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly - albeit a little disorganized for check-in. We stayed in the glamping tents, and the electric blanket came in handy in October. Everyone who stayed in AirStreams enjoyed their accommodations. They also offered yoga Saturday morning which was really nice to wake up to. If you're staying in the tent, you have access to the lodge for spa-like showers/bathrooms. They keep the fires in the lodge and in the main area going morning through night so it's always cozy. My friend did her ceremony on the main lawn and reception in the lodge. It's great for ceremonies under 100 people. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! It was a great idea for an intimate wedding.

Yelp
It was sooo cute here. If you like camping but maybe want a little less work to do then staying here is perfect. First of all the town nearby is super cute and super LGBTQ+ friendly. There are cute shops, yummy food options, and walkable to the river! When we arrived prior to our check in we only had to wait like 5 mins before our tent was ready. They have wagons to put your stuff in from the car so that's handy! And bikes you can borrow to go around the town. Tents: The tents are surprisingly spacious and have about 5 'windows' you can zip up and close. It can be cold inside but the mattress is heated and can be controlled separately on each side of the bed so you're warm and cozy while sleeping. They also provide plugs, USB plugs, two lights, and emergency flashlight, cooking utensils for the BBQ, an oven mit, matches, paper towels, tissue box, a cooler, etc. it's all very handy Parking: gated and secure Staff: so attentive and genuinely sweet Common area: super spacious and nice. Covered with a fireplace and heaters on the ceiling for when it's cold. Comfortable seating throughout. A nice but small shopping area for clothing, essentials, food, alcohol, etc to purchase. Bathrooms: super nice and modern! The showers are spacious and hot and handicap accessible but there are only two showers and one toilet stall and one urinal in the men's side. Shampoo, body wash, lotion, hair dryer and towels are provided Extras: they hosted happy wine hour tastings on Friday and Saturday as well as guest singers each day (different singers and wineries came) super cute vibes. Highly recommend :)

Yelp
My weekend trip to Autocamp is one of my favorite weekend getaways from the Bay Area! Only a 1.5-2 hour drive from the Bay, this is high-end glamping experience that is worth it's value and highly enjoyable. I booked the classic Airstream for 2 adults and a Dog; we fit comfortably and felt that we had lots of space. The bed and sheets were comfy, bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was just enough. Highlights: * Ambience and energy is really laid back. You get the benefit of feeling in nature and as if you are camping but with all the amenities. * Nightly wine tasting for the weekend * Yoga class every morning Lowlights: * Would not recommend booking the premium airstream- it's really not that more private * Breakfast was lacking- only coffee, tea, and granolas. I would recommend this place add some yogurt, fresh fruit, and pastries at least. * Hot water tank in the airstream is small! So be mindful if you are taking back to back showers. Overall, it's highlights make up for its minor drawbacks. The location is near the road and some housing but that didn't bother us. Being centrally located made it easy to explore the nearby areas and parks. For trips nearby, I would recommend checking out Sebastopol, Bodega Bay, and Armstrong Redwoods!

Yelp
This was a fun stay for the kids and a great overall experience! We spent a night in an Airstream with our 2 young kids and they loved every minute of it. The units were beautifully refinished with modern touches and came with all the conveniences of a small hotel room. The campground itself is located in a quiet residential area just off the main road, but is surrounded by tall redwoods so you do get some sense of seclusion. Waking up in the morning to some light rain and rolling fog amidst the trees, really gave me the feeling of being immersed in nature, without actually being in the middle of a forest. It rained almost the entire time we were there so we didn't make much use of the grounds or common areas, but the clubhouse made for a perfect little gathering spot for those looking to escape the cold and rain. It featured a nice little communal fireplace and was stocked with all the necessities like firewood, smores kits and alcoholic beverages for purchase. If you are averse to real camping like my wife, you will be happy to know that the clubhouse bathrooms and showers boasted modern decor and were immaculately clean. You are definitely not "roughing it" out here. Although our stay in the Airstream was fun and memorable, I'm not convinced that I would seek out an Autocamp again. The living and sleeping space inside the Airstream is really only fit for 2-3 people at most and after a night of sleeping with my two small kids, I was more than ready for a king bed at our next hotel. But if I ever find myself with an opportunity to visit any of the other Autocamp locations, at least I know that I'll be greeted with a clean modern design and some super friendly service.

Yelp
Love it !!!!! I usually don't go camping but my coworkers suggested I should try and it was such a great decision I have made. We decided to stay in airstreams because they come with bathroom. Everything was clean and nice. I prepared everything including toilet paper and paper towel.... Turned out I had to take all of them home because they provided everything including kitchenwares. They also provide public bathrooms and campfire but if you stay in airstreams, you will have your own campfire. The weather was chilly so we didn't plan to do any water activities but we rode bicycle which they provided as well. Will definitely go back and plan for water activities nearby. Forgot to mention, its really safe here. You will receive a code to entry to front gate on the arrival day then another code for your airstream when checking in! You can charge your EV too :-) What else can you ask for? Such an awesome little getaway

Yelp
But for the price, it would get five stars. The RVs are well maintained, although their age is just beginning to show. Well furnished with excellent quality linen, towels etc. Everything worked well. The "store" had very limited items. They can easily stock up more non-perishable goods. Staff was very helpful. The RVs were a little too close, even the premier ones. They need to improve their reservation system - and price pint - as there were many empty RVs and yet, many dates were not available on line.

Yelp
Cute place but for $500, it was underwhelming 1. Blow dryer was dirty. The whole drawer was Full of hair 2. The breaker kept tripping. Was annoying as I was trying blow dry my hair. Heater was not on 3. Outside chairs were broken. Nearly broke my back as I tried to sit down! 4. Sunday morning breakfast 9:30am....pastries were out. Milk was out for cereal. No spoons... We communicated the issues to the team but we were told to just go to gift store to pick something. I did not feel any effort to try to make things right. It was more to just make us go away. I am excited to see the place to its full potential!

Yelp
Overdue review... Hiking during the day and glamping at night. Our experience with Autocamp was not only a great one but a memorable one. Made reservations online and rec'd a confirmation email, check-in info (and video) and a phone call a day before our departure. We were even given a suggested list of to do's and where to eat. Customer service = A+. We stayed in a classic airstream (not much difference between the classic and premium- premium is nearby trees but the classic ones are directly in front of it) . We are a family of 3- our son is 13 and he had plenty of space on the pull out futon, it was clean and equipped with all the necessities. For those interested, yes you get warm water. We came during a late winter break (feb) and it was a bit chilly, but luckily no rain. This is a cute location but by quite a few homes. Yes there are huge trees around but don't expect to feel secluded. The clubhouse is nice- has a fire going, long tables and bathrooms/showers. There isn't much water pressure in the airstream but they do provide shampoo, conditioner, soap. Here are some tips: -Use the radio flyer wagons provided to transport items from your vehicle to your airstream (if you have a lot of stuff -if it's chilly, bring extra blankets from home. -there's a local Safeway nearby if you forget or need anything. -bring aluminum foil if you're going to bbq, along with charcoal -turn up the heat at night! Then turn it down when you leave -watch the video they send you. It'll be helpful when it comes to opening windows and basics of an airstream -bring flip flops or slides to walk around the airstream -traveling with kids? get the s'mores package and some wood. Fun experience -dogs allowed..please pick up after your fur baby

Yelp
Stayed one night on 5/4. Probably it's weekday so the environment was so calm and relaxed. Front desk staff, Mike, are so passionate, friendly and being kind to help everything about their equipment such as BBQ, charcoal or even the fireplace they offer in the lounge. Staying at this place helped me relax from stresses caused by daily hassle. There are supermarket and restaurants near by so it's convenient to buy foods. No individual bathroom and restroom in tents but the public bathroom is very clean.

Yelp
We stayed here a week ago for two nights, air stream #15 to be exact, this is our family's first time using air stream glamping. We had fun. It's a nice place and we liked it. What we liked most in this place is the safety and security of everyone inside the compound or campground. You can't get in unless you have reservations which got our attention the most. The place is clean and cozy, well taken cared of. Texting is the main source of communication, isn't that easy and lovely? Quick to reply. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The check-in and check out are way much better, all online means and contactless. Great! If you're asking for Wi-Fi, yes they do have Wi-Fi working even there's lots of big trees around but of course there's slow times but no complaints, we are outdoors, right? Still thankful for it. The thing I like about our site is the outdoor dining for four hidden behind the big tree. So romantic! Hehe! Regarding the interior, clean and cozy. Not really spacious but for a family of four, it's just right. The problem is, it is too cold at night, the air stream is old, no insulation and all the glass windows are single pane only that's why it feels like you're inside a fridge with those vaporous windows with water dripping on it. The door is not properly shut, you can feel the cold breeze coming in. Even though it has small heater inside, it is not enough to heat the place that's why we never really had a goodnight sleep. I guess that's part of the experience. Am I right? Or maybe not. (smh) The second night, the hot water in our shower just bailed out on us. I never had the chance to call & text at that time but it's a disaster having a freezing cold shower. (smh) As an outdoor family, we are used to this kind of experience, much worse but of course for other family that is not, it is really an issue. They need to upgrade the airstream #15. As for the price, I think it is a bit pricey for not that great of an airstream. You be the judge! By the way, I just want to inform you that the vicinity of this area are neighborhood, so if you really want the wilderness, this is not for you. In conclusion, I don't wanna say that this place is really good but it is not that bad either. Because of the experience, we will try air stream glamping again for sure but we'll try other glamping sites. We will come back here again maybe in the near future but not right away. If you really want to know what I'm talking about, you need to try this place.

Yelp
Definitely worth the visit! Kind of long, but please take moment to read... we have been here upon opening in 2017. The location is fantastic! Upon our 2nd trip to Autocamp (2023), we upgraded to an airstream with a redwood hot tub. First of all, the airstream accommodations are top notch: comfortable bed, okay comfortable futon (I slept on with my son), AMAZING staff, and (although smaller lot) BEAUTIFUL campus! We had a bit of an issue with an airstream window (shattering) but we're so grateful to the staff (especially Laurel) who was amazing and helpful through our whole nightmare situation. The redwood hot tub took more firewood than expected to heat to "acceptable." They comped us, they helped us, they adjusted our charges. This is definitely the best airstream campus. (And we have been to at least three). Definitely a "go to"! AND be sure to try the yoga offered.

Yelp
My young son and I spent one day/night at Auto Camp and absolutely loved it. We had planned to venture out and see more of the surrounding area, but Auto Camp was so cool and fun that we ended up staying at camp the entire day. First the airstreams are very cool. Modern and clean and they have every amenity - even pens, scissors and a bottle opener. And the shower/bathroom is surprisingly spacious. The decor throughout is tastefully done. While the campsites are close together each has a secluded feel because of the landscaping. It really feels like you're alone in the woods. The communal amenities are nice as well. There is a large fire pit that provides a nice ambiance and a large grass field where my son and I tossed a football. There is also a playground for younger kids. It's nice to walk around the path that circles the camp. It's short but they have these stunning green leafed trees that appear to glow in the sunlight. Oh and they also have bikes you can take on a first come, first served basis. We rode them into town to grab some food for dinner to cook on our grill - every airstream or luxury tent gets a fire ring with cooking grate. Lastly the staff is super friendly and kind and the store is small but seems to have everything you need. If you like rugged tent camping in the outdoors go do that, but if you want a little bit of glamping then Auto Camp is well worth a look.

Yelp
Highly recommend! This place was super fun for our family and the people who work here are so friendly and accommodating! Shout out to Blythe - thanks for everything! After decades of tent camping at lots of places, our kids really wanted to stay in an airstream so we did. The airstream was nice ...I mean don't expect something really spacious and super luxurious but it's quaint, clean, has all the supplies you could need on a campout, and just enough room for a family of 4. Plus climate control and no packing up a wet/dirty tent so total win. Very family friendly and everyone was so respectful of the space, environment, and each other. If you're looking for a nice family-oriented camp, give this a shot.

Laura K.

Yelp
Glad they had a pool. We ended up upgrading to the cabin since the airstreams are so close together it feels like a mobile home park. Staff was not very friendly. Not a lot for kids to do.

Yelp
Our experience at the AutoCamp Russian River was, by far, the best glamping experience we've had in the SF Bay Area. We've gone glamping at the Costanoa resort in Pescadero, but the for the same price, the facilities at AutoCamp far surpass those at Costanoa. It was me and my husband, our 3 and 1 year old, and big Labrador retriever who had gone, and we all fit quite comfortably in the airstream. The bed and futon were comfortable and outfitted with just the right amount of linens. The airstreams came equipped with everything you could possibly need--toiletries, dish/drink/silverware, towels, and a bag of their AutoCamp blend from none other than Equator Coffee to brew in the morning using their French press. Every morning at 8am in their lobby, they set out a simple breakfast of pastries from a local bakery as well as granola and coffee to be enjoyed in front of their lobby fireplace or out on the back deck. They offered onsite morning activities such as yoga, and evening activities such as wine tasting. During the day, we either brought the kids to the Russian River (which, if you've never been, is the best place to bring kids swimming thanks to the easy current and low water levels), drove into and around town, or let them run around the gated grounds with their cousins. Thanks to its location, you are a quick drive to a plethora of wineries and delicious food options. Be forewarned, however, that most of Guerneville does not take reservations, and the weekend wait times for take out can be over an hour, so do call ahead! There's an on-site playground as well as picnic tables beautifully appointed with garden lights and a couple of hammocks to relax. They also have beach cruiser bikes for use outside of the property in both adult and kid sizes, as well as Radio Flyer wagons with all terrain wheels to use to transport supplies to your living quarters, or better yet, to pull your kids around. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, with was, of course, an added plus. Our experience at AutoCamp Guerneville has made me a huge fan, and I look forward to visiting their other locations in the future!

Judy N.

Yelp
Check in was delayed an hour so we had to wait. Was given a bottle of wine in the meantime but was still charged $50 for it after we checked out. Everything was cleaned. Nice place. I wished we didn't have to pay $50 for an offered bottle of wine to wait.

Yelp
The communal spaces are the best!! I'm more of an introvert usually, but I would encourage anyone staying here to be sure to take the time to enjoy/explore the communal spaces. The lounge, the spa-like shared bathrooms, the events (wine/cider tastings, lawn games, yoga) really fill this magical space with such a warm and inviting energy! Also, very friendly and helpful staff

Dhruven S.

Yelp
Great hospitality. Very cute and comfortable place! There was live music on saturday night by the fire place. Followed by a womderful Yoga session on Sunday morning. Thomas in particular was an amazing host!! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Growing up we camped across the United States in Airstreams, it was an incredible way to see this beautiful country but it had been nearly 30 years since I was last in an Airstream. We decided last minute to give AutoCamp Russian Rive a try and experience the area, we were not disappointed. Our unit (24) was the best of any Airstream my parents and I camped in, it was comfortable, clean and isolated enough that it was reasonably quiet. It doesn't get much better than starting our day with pastries from Costeaux, the inside lounge was spacious and allowed guest plenty of room. We enjoyed our pastries from Costeaux there every morning and brought dinner back on two of the nights during our stay. The staff could not have been more accommodating, we had a minor issue with our Airstream and Todd and his team took care of it very quickly. The front desk team are knowledgeable on the area and very friendly. While there are grocery stores in the area including Safeway, it is important to remember that for all the good reasons the area isn't densely populated so shopping before you arrive is something I would suggest. It is camping sort of after all and not a hotel. Korbel & Bros. Champagne and Winemaker are a short drive from the AutoCamp and aside from the amazing tastings they have a great café. We had lunch there and it was quality food at a decent price. Also, pay a visit to the Guerneville Taco Truck for dinner, it was excllent. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is also a short drive and has some spectacular trails, one day in the park is likely adequate as some of the trails are closed. We spent another day along the Sonoma Coast State Park, the views from the vista points and beach are inspiring. If you enjoy the outdoors, excellent customer service and a bit of a secluded location, AutoCamp is the spot for you. We will return given we were only able to explore a fraction of what the area had to offer.

Yelp
We had a great time there with our kids until one of their staff named Todd yelled at my wife because our kids were running around the campgrounds. He said that he was disappointed with her and made her cry, because she had recent miscarriages and those words really hurt her. Todd could have been more professional and patient since it is also advertised as a family friendly campground. I don't recommend this place for families with young children. I highly hope that the owners look into this matter seriously because no one should talk to customers in that matter.

Dini P.

Yelp
Great place for a group get together!! Tents are very comfortable, but a ways from the bathroom! The setting is beautiful, the golden locust trees were lovely!! We had a great visit! Maybe a little loud at night with some late night talkers, but they provide earplugs. It is glamping! Tennis/Pickleball courts right next door.

Yelp
We LOVE it here!! This was our second visit and we were here exactly a year ago. The autocamp is so amazing with their fabulous amenities and customer service. Chris and Thomas were so AMAZING!! They were so helpful and courteous to our group. They made our visit extra fun and memorable. We will definitely be back a lot sooner than later. Thank you Chris and Thomas!!

Janelle M.

Yelp
Found my happy place!! The hospitality and friendliness of thei staff is very welcoming! Everyone is there to help make your stay more comfortable. The amenities were great and we didn't feel like we didn't have privacy. Airstreams were clean and kept at the right temperature.

Muoi H.

Yelp
Our first autocamp experience ans we enjoyed it ! The only complaint was the shower water wasn't hot enough but thank god we had the wood fired hot tub Staff was extremely helpful and friendly ! It's a gorgeous place to getaway too!

Vaughn W.

Yelp
Cute little spot a few minutes from the river. Airstreams, tents and a yurt already set up and waiting for you to arrive. There are chairs, tables and BBQ pits at each site. No wood burning is allowed so if you like to poke the fire this place isn't for you. There is a large public outdoor and indoor fire pit with chairs all around for s'mores or just enjoying the fire. It's a fairly busy place but everyone is here to relax and enjoy the moment surrounded by big redwoods. Using the intercom to get in the gate and after checking in, grab a little red wagon and wheel your wares a short walk to your site. The sites along the back corner will be a the most peaceful. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful. There's local grocery and gas a few minutes away for anything you may have forgotten.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Rude and unprofessional staff. Dishonest business. I would never go back again. They had construction going the whole day. We went to get away and be in nature and they had very loud construction going on...fixing the campers. When kindly asked about it was met with very rude response and that simply it's allowed during the day. They also charged our credit card again for a sweatshirt we used our credit to pay for because the gal at the front desk said it was okay. We didn't want the sweatshirt but had the credit...the manager called us and said that regardless of their mistake they would charge us. So unethical.

Yelp
Very clean and modern, heated airstream accommodations, well stocked with utensils, plates, cups, glasses, microwave, water kettle, towels, and toiletries. The clean bathroom with good ventilation is full sized with a shower in our trailer. The only cooking accommodation is the fire pit, and you can only burn clean burning pressed logs (no natural wood). Plan accordingly (bring ready to eat, microwaveable food, or camp stove if you don't want to cook on open fire. They have cast iron cookware if you do). There's a thoughtfully stocked sundry store at check in, gorilla carts to haul your things to your site, and bikes to borrow. Clean indoor and outdoor fire pits if you don't feel like stoking your own. Place is conveniently located close to town. We enjoyed our stay! Helpful and pleasant staff. Off one star since our trailer backed up directly to a residential backyard and grounds are a little small.

Yelp
My husband and I previously had an amazing week with Autocamp at Yosemite, so we had a high expectation for our visit to Autocamp at Russian River. The front desk staff members were so welcoming and kind, but I won't be coming back to this location for the reasons below: 1. Cleanliness issue: Food/oil stains from previous stays were visible all over the kitchen. We wiped down all we could and saw the sanitizing wipes turning all brown from those stains. Couch was dusty. 2. Hot water issue: Hot water in the shower can't last more than 5 minutes, and it takes about 20-30 min to get the hot water back. We had to shorten our showers to a minimum each time. 3. WiFi issue: There's no cell service at the Autocamp location (we use AT&T), so we had to rely on WiFi, and the WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable. 4. AC issue: The AC unit didn't work in our airstream. They couldn't send anyone to fix it for some reason. We were offered a 20% discount on our stay, which I think is a reasonable offer. However, this would've been a big problem for us if it was in the middle of summer. We didn't have any of these issues at Autocamp at Yosemite, so I guess the quality of stay is not consistent between different locations. Definitely disappointed.

Jessie B.

Yelp
This place is so cute! The grounds are beautiful! The lobby with the fireplace, the fire pit, the green lawn. The staff is so friendly! The Airstreams are great, bed is super comfy, AC & heater both worked well, & my little family of 4 had an awesome time! Docking 1 star because the shower floor wasn't very clean, dirty finger prints on the shades & someone's hair stuck in the Velcro on the bedroom curtain but I do understand that keeping these things absolutely immaculate is most likely damn near impossible. We would definitely come back again and/or check out another Autocamp

Olivia V.

Yelp
AutoCamp was so much fun! My fiancée and I stayed here with our dog this Christmas and all of us had a great time. This place is extremely dog-friendly, and dogs are even allowed inside the clubhouse as long as they are leashed and supervised at all times. Parking in their lot is free and there are wagons available if you have a lot to carry to your Airstream. We were warmly welcomed by the staff inside the clubhouse. The clubhouse is super cozy, with a firepit, plenty of seating, a small shop that sells the basics (drinks, snacks, etc), and a bathroom equipped with luxurious showers. The complimentary breakfast takes place here between 7-10 am and we enjoyed the Big Bottom Market biscuits (their claim to fame being one of Oprah's "favorite things" in 2016!), Equator Coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice (that you press yourself) during our stay. The Airstream itself is so cool! There's no other way to describe it. The heating system heats up nicely and WiFi is fast. A bathroom with a walk-in shower is on one end, the living area and kitchenette in the middle, and the bedroom on the opposite end. Our complimentary s'mores kit (complimentary via a holiday deal they had on their website at the time of booking) and hot cocoa kit were waiting for us in the kitchenette. The kitchenette is fully stocked with a microvave, mini fridge, French press coffee maker, tea, electric kettle, and all the utensils you could ever need. They also provide you with 3 free Duraflame logs, which we used for making s'mores. The living area has a couch that folds down as an extra bed if needed. There is a pouf/ottoman which our dog quickly decided was his special little spot. There is also a folding table that can be used for meals. The bedroom area was cozy and we slept comfortably in the Casper bed. There is a flat screen tv mounted on one side that has a good amount of channels. We both had a small dresser to keep our clothes in. Though the space seems small inside the Airstream, everything is well thought out and super functional; we never felt like we were missing anything. The bathroom is so cute and did not feel as small as it looks. They provide high-quality Malin+Goetz hand wash, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so don't bother bringing anything from home. They all smelled great and I was so tempted to purchase some from the little shop area they have in the clubhouse. The only caveat is that a hot shower will last about 8 minutes, and even though I'm used to taking 20 minute showers at home, I had no problems at all...and I have long hair! If you time it correctly, you'll be fine. However, there are luxurious showers inside the clubhouse if you really must take a longer shower. Since we were there for Christmas, almost all of the restaurants and shops in town were closed, unfortunately. If you want to cook meals in the firepit right outside your Airstream, there is a Safeway a 3 minute drive away. The 3 of us would love to return some day, preferably when it's not raining and when it's not Christmas.

Zoe Z.

Yelp
This is the best place!! This is our 3rd time and each time we had the best experience. Customer service is beyond Perfect! I love and recommend it to All my friends and family and all of them love it as much as us. Thanks to Debbie and the team. I appreciate all of you guys.

Yelp
We stumbled across this place while researching for outdoorsy type accommodations. While this is one step closer to true camping, it is very much a premium glamping experience. The camp is located in a residential neighborhood. But it does feel secluded because of the tall trees surrounding the area. Downtown is a quick drive away. Check in process was fairly easy, and the front desk were friendly. We tried checking in early, but they said our Streams weren't yet ready. Well, 4pm came and went, and we didn't get into our trailer until almost 6pm. They were apologetic, but still, we paid almost $500/night. Me wants the full value of it. And to top it off, they did not allow us to stay past our 11am check out two days later. Sound fair to you? They did comp us some drinks and firewood, so that eased the pain a little. The Streams were really nice - well, way nicer than I expected. Of course, they're on the small side, but it's nice they are fully equipped. The bed is small, but the couch turns into a bed as well. Bathroom is surprisingly large. The trailer had almost everything you would expect in a regular hotel room. Although I kind of wish the refrigerator was bigger. Oh also, the hot water tank is small, so keep that in mind. You probably only get about 10 min of hot water before you have to wait a little for the new water to get hot. One annoying thing I noticed - there were some older scholarly types. You know, the gents that cross their legs tightly while reading a novel and renting a cheaper not sound proof tent. Make no mistake folks, this place ain't your library. You can't expect it to be quiet all the time. Our kids recruited some other kids and were playing a bit in the grassy area. The Rhodes scholars decided to complain to the front desk at noon because they "were trying to get some rest." The front desk felt bad about telling us to keep it down. My tip - don't rent the canvass tent sites if you want it to be quiet. Come on now. We'll try and visit other Autocamps in Joshua Tree and Zion. A bit spendy, but worth the try.

Yelp
Pros: -free pastries and coffee/tea in the morning in the clubhouse -airstream is well stocked (utensils, plates/bowls, bbq tools, paper towels, etc) -bathroom was a good size considering it's in an airstream -clubhouse bathroom was very nice although we didn't need to use it Cons: -overall size of the property is small. the only public space is the meadow and clubhouse -property location is in a residential area. from our bbq area, you can see someone's backyard... -airstreams and tents are very close to each other -premium airstreams was NOT worth the extra cost. it was in a slightly more private location in the back by the creekside but you are still just as close to other airstreams. our outdoor space also had a lot of trees and bushes in the way so we actually prefered to hang out at our friend's standard airstream bbq area because it was more open -spotty reception and wifi. I'm fine with this since we are supposed to enjoy the outdoors, but a lot of the check in process and videos are overly dependent on an internet connection Conclusion: Overall OK experience. Airstream was clean and a lot of things were provided. However, for the amount we paid ($450/night after taxes) in November, I expected the overall location to have more space to roam around. I would definitely not come here during summer when prices are even higher. While not exactly the same, glamping at Mendocino Grove (tents, not airstreams) was a much better glamping experience and value overall with a lot more space that actually makes you feel like you are in nature as opposed to a nice RV park with a bonfire pit.

Yelp
My family took a trip to Guerneville last weekend and stayed from Thursday to Sunday. We had an absolute blast. Our son is 5 and has been wanting to go camping. This was a great place to bring him to "get our feet wet"- as well as figure out if he's in control enough to handle real camping where we're in tents and he wouldn't be able to run around, making a ton of noise. We packed up our car to the roof with everything we'd typically bring for a traditional campsite. We had way too much stuff for an Autocamp stay. As well, I noticed that we were the only ones who were doing the "camping thing" where we had all the supplies, coolers, utensils, and kitchen utilities. Most families seemed to be staying there for the fun of staying in an Airstream but would leave for most of the day and return after dinner time. I felt like we were the only ones who were cooking and eating every meal at our site. The trailer was great. Plenty of space for the 3 of us and our belongings. It's very nice to have a shower and toilet when you come home from river activities. The bed was very comfortable and when going to sleep, I felt like I was at home. The staff was amazing. They were all so helpful and fun. Our son was running around the meadow a lot and at one point he had his cape on pretending like he was flying. One of the workers came out and ran around with him, arms out like he was flying. I wish I had gotten a picture. That made my son's day. Proximity was very convenient for us. I didn't mind it being so close to town. It was nice being able to get to Safeway in a few minutes, pick up some ice and beer, and be back at the site in half an hour. For water-fun, the river was walking-distance. While it's not an official beach, like Johnson's Beach, there was plenty of space, the water was nice, and there was a portable toilet in case my son really needed to go. It was super relaxing. We had a great time. I couldn't have asked for more and we can't wait to return.

Yelp
I took my boyfriend to Auto Camp as a surprise for his birthday. We went the second week in February (I am catching up on reviews) and it was rainy but we had such an amazing time! To start, we checked in and the staff were so helpful and nice- they explained how the electricity works in the air steam and what is close by to eat. We got to use a wagon to find our place and check out the nice camp area. We stayed in the premium Airstream which backs up to the creek- this was a beautiful noise at night when we sat by the fire to make S'mores! We had s'mores waiting for us in the airstream as well as a bottle of wine in there and wine glasses as a gift to take home! The airstream was perfect size for us, it was so nice and decorated it looked like a hotel! There was a full on kitchen experience with plates, utensils, a mini fridge and so much more that we would of used if we BBQed on the grill but it was raining so we did not utilize all that much. Very good hot water in there- there are bigger showers you can use in the clubhouse if you want to have more room and longer showers. There is a gift shop and other things- we loved the big community fire pit- though there was not anyone else there during our stay. **The only thing I would change would be the breakfast bar- there should be more options. We did do the tea with the freshly squeezed orange juice we got to make ourselves but the biscuits with the honey, jam and butter was very subpar... We wish there was more options because we left very hunger when we checked out. Other than that we will definitely be back in the summer with a group!! Keep in mind it is pricey but we did not mind it with the experience!

Yelp
We were extremely disappointed upon arrival. We anticipated a beautiful tent Amidst the red woods. For 600+ a night you would expect more luxurious accommodations and amenities. The glamping tents were beautifully done but placed on top of each other (** forget social distancing) or any PRIVACY! They are located on a grass field, If you are looking for a village rather than pure nature, you may like it. One perk, you very close to the Armstrong national forest If you are okay with the three day minimum. There are NO photos on their website or social media that shows how CLOSE the tents are to each other. My partner and I had our two VERY WELL behaved service puppies with us and we were constantly hawk-eyed from the front desk who could see directly on to our patio for having them off lease in nature... all the tent patios from that matter. We even read a story out loud one night and the GM came to speak to us about making too much noise, so it goes without saying that you cannot play music. Tons of Children I mean, you can't fart without someone telling you keep it down!

Yelp
Wanted to do something fun for my daughter's 5th birthday. It was supposed to be a double celebration with another friend who's birthday is a few days apart but plans changed so I decided to go with family instead. There was a welcome gift for my daughter to make her own BBQ smores lol Overall, its an amazing place with very friendly staff and contact less check in and super awesome amenities. Its a nice place to cool your head and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I recommend this place.

Yelp
We stayed in airstream #3. 2 adults and 2 kids. Overall experience was just OK as we had some technical issues with our airstream which resulted in us throwing out most of our food in the fridge. Also because of COVID and shelter in place many of the fun amenities were not offered that you see in instagram and videos: happy hour or breakfast. Coffee was the instant kind in your airstream. Plastic utensils and paper plates. The airstream was very lux and the main bed was super comfy for two adults. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and at night could get chilly for ones sleeping on the sofa bed. Definitely would only fit small kids and bring extra blankets. Also our particular unit was right next to a big redwood so took some of the outdoor space. We did have some issues with our airstream. Our fan was broken which wasn't a big deal as it was a cool day. The circuit kept popping even after turning off the lights and unplugging our chargers so unfortunately most things we bought for our trip in the fridge had to be thrown out. The front desk offered us some snacks to replace our food. Other than that it's worth the experience of staying in an airstream.
