Overall good experience. Positives: -our airstream by the river was at one of the far ends of the camp away from the ‘beach access’. This meant less people/kid traffic walking by. -the staff was very polite and helpful -free coffee and cereal at the reception area each morning is awesome. -free EV charging is a plus, given that the closest supercharger is 40min away. -airstream was clean, plenty of towels, design with huge shower/decent bedroom/adequate living&kitchen -nightly activities/entertainment offerings -pool looks well maintained and friendly to use. Possible improvements: -ac could of been turned on by cleaning staff on day of arrival, Given temps in the High 90s outside. When we arrived at 3:30pm it was 105 inside the airstream. We had the ac on for 5min and the entire area of 3 rivers lost power until 7pm. If the ac had been left on at least the inside would of held lower temp regardless of power loss. Maybe backup power for the autocamp?!? -given this was my first Autocamp experience I was surprised at the loudness of the ac in the airstream. I needed noise cancellation headphones while the ac was turned on. -I would strongly advise Autocamp to pave the car arrival and parking areas. There was so much dust in the air every time a car came and left. My car had a solid 1-2mm of dust when we departed home from the camp. I washed my car right away when I got home. Tomorrow I’ll vacuum the inside and wipe all inside surfaces. -one last note, perhaps a carwash voucher to a carwash chain? Just a thought. Would I stay again? Well, yes. My experience was overall positive and part of doing something new is adapting to new surroundings. My dog had a great time as well. The airstreams are close together but everyone seemed respectful of sound level and giving each other privacy.

AutoCamp has a great concept and the airstreams are stylish, but the overall experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. The entrance was easy to miss — not well-marked, which made arrival a bit confusing. Not a huge deal, but not a great first impression either. Once there, I quickly realized mosquitoes were going to be a problem. Even with bug spray, I got bitten a lot, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. A lot of the trails that were recommended by staff or listed in the guide were closed, which was disappointing since hiking was a main reason for my trip. It would've been nice to have current info or alternative suggestions. The view also felt underwhelming — it didn’t quite match the photos or peaceful vibe I expected based on the website. They also charge an extra fee for bringing a dog, but there was nothing that actually made the place feel dog-friendly. No amenities or special touches — just the fee. The airstream itself was clean, and the staff were friendly, but overall, the stay felt more style than substance. Could be great with a few improvements.

Unbelievable, tranquil, quiet. Picturesque landscape. Trailers are 5 star & luxurious. Your own firepit/bbq. Just wow !

Autocamp Sequoia Campground We arrived on 11th May 2025 its their new opening season The Airstream Cabin, Tent and normal cabin are all new and the facilities like the Pool, small river beach play area are all new and in very good conditions There is well prepared BBQ sets in the Airstream with a cast iron skillet for easy cooking over the fire pit Recommend going in groups or family as its fund to have bonfire , s’mores & grills

Google
I'd give it 4.5 if I could. It's glamping plain and simple. The airstream is very nice and comfy. The beds are great. Really should be for 2 and not more even though you can fit 4. Kids slept on the pull out couch and was a little cramped. But it is like camping. You are in a campground and you are right next to other airstreams. Shower of a little weak but overall for camping it's really nice camping ... Glamping.

Nice and affordable place to stay in a tent for a couple of nights. Views, running river nearby, pool and other facilities as well as proximity to the Sequoia National Park make this place really good to spend some time here. The only problem you can encounter is noisy neighbors, campground declares a quiet time after 11pm but doesn’t enforce it (at least didn’t during our stay in 2019), so loud music or talks and laughing can slightly (or significantly) spoil you sleep.

UPDATE: 11/19/23 I obtained some pictures and videos of the progress made at the new camp site. I was told they will have many Airstreams hard piped, which makes them all stationary. They will also have a higher-end section with top views of the site. A 5000 sq ft club house is being built as you first drive in. I believe cabins will be built as well. You will not be able to bring your own rig. I was told the recent flooding made its way up to the old club house. The beach has a somewhat new formation. The locals are very giving with the info they received. Reservations can be made around August 2024. UPDATE: This campground was sold 3 years ago. The new owners are converting it to an RV park with 85 Airstreams to rent for $400 bucks a night. Our Campground is now gone. Decades of memories, all gone. Posted on 5/16/22 I've been coming to this resort for over 40 years. Such great memories. Now I'm bringing my grandchildren. Tile showers, pool, Wi-Fi, clubhouse, air compressor for inflatables, general store across the street, Walmart 20 minutes away, 5 minutes from town. Volleyball, horseshoes, teatherball, large areas of fescue grass, RV area, riverside camping.

First time going over father's day weekend 2020. We reserved a cabin + a camping space, the cabin was a bit small for my expectations however it did not dissapoint it had 2 queen size comfy clean beds with enough fluffy pillows, the kitchen was small but very complete with a full size fridge, kuerig coffee maker, microwave, electric stove and pots and pans, the bathroom was clean with complimentary soap and make up remover wipes. Outside there was a picnic table and small grill in case you didn't bring your own. Hot water at all times and fully stocked with towels and towelettes. A/C unit and a ceiling fan in the middle of the room, small TV with cable channels (not that it was needed with such beautiful surroundings) but very appreciated when you have small children that refuse to sleep early 😂. The camping space was specious for 2 tents, parking and eating area (grill, picnic table, fire pit) near bathrooms and river. The staff was very friendly! Not once did we encounter a rude person or a bad attitude. Small store at the front office. The river is within walking distance and the "beach" area was just perfect for the children to play! The only "cons" I could possibly think of was the pool being closed/covered our entired stay (friday-sunday) not a deal breaker since the river was so nice and so much water to play in, but I would've loved to use it maybe next time because we are definitely going back!

Yelp
We stayed a week here and had a great time. In a nutshell.... Pros: awesome lake with a beach area for the kids, picnic table and fire pit for each site, rv hookups, variety of lodging (rv, tent, cabin), laundry room, market close by, 8 miles from the Sequoia National park entrance, clean campground, restrooms with showers, small store with wood, ice, snacks, and souvenirs for purchase. Cons: Not many tree shaded rv sites, no WiFi, terrible cell phone service, people bringing glass bottles out to the lake, and trash left by the lake. Aside of the few negatives/cons, we had an overall great experience. Everyone was very friendly, staff was helpful, and we really enjoyed the fact that there was a lake a few feet from our rv. The temperature ranged from 95-102, so the lake was warm and not freezing cold. There was a beach area leading into the lake, and the river was very peaceful and relaxing. We spent most of our time in the water and really enjoyed our stay here. We swam, fired up the grill, and made s'mores at night. Good times. We will definitely be back, except next time we will get a spot with some shade in the summer.

Yelp
We were there this past week, and I'm disappointed with the covid19 cleaning conditions. We've been coming here for years & seems like the bathroom's are worse every year. I thought the due to covid19 they would be more on it, but no. The beach area is our favorite & we couldn't really enjoy it, since there were 2 other families competing with their high volume music, which not everyone enjoys, we all have different tastes in music, & I was there to relax, but ended up with a migraine with the blasted music. The campground should keep the beach music free or tone it down, some of us just want to enjoy the river & relax.

Yelp
Well, my previous review is still true-for 2 years ago... I came last year with my family and for the first time (in my 13 years of coming here) the resort ran out of water in their well system, which meant no bathrooms showers. We were fully reimbursed and booked a vacay somewhere else instead. This year, you could start to see the big difference from the previous owners. For one, you used to be able to have u to 6 people on your site. Every person after 2 people you are charged more! Ridiculous The staff NO LONGER rake, clean, or water down campsites in between visitors. Which makes no sense because they charge you $25 to check in early! For what reason? You're not cleaning it sooner because you arent cleaning it at all! In my two days here, I used the bathroom 4 times and all 4 times they were an absolute mess. Muddy floors and no toilet paper. Maybe if the staff weren't so busy driving around their golf carts to yell at campers, at least ONE of them would have time to clean and stock. They also rarely change their trash cans‍ Kind of funny that we need to pay more while the staff do less! My family and I have decided to look for somewhere new to camp starting next year. Kaweah Park Resort, I will never forget you. However, shame on you Sequoia Campground & Lodge for ruining a once beautiful and home-y campground.

Yelp
I think this campground may be permanently out of business. The website still says it is closed, the email address gets a bounce back reply and the phone number is disconnected. Bummer. I was hoping to book a trip for next spring break.

Yelp
Campsite is lovely! Staff is very rude. On our last day there, a staff member, Jordan, came by and threatened to put our fire out while we were trying to make breakfast. The campsite stoves are not marked and we did not know we were using the wrong fire pit. We used the last of our wood in that pit, and it was already lit. We then had to pack up because he threatened to charge us for another campsite. We were charged for another night, even though we were completely out by checkout! Very unprofessional! Tried to contact the general manager about the issue, but no response yet.

Yelp
I found this hidden gem last year and have gone back 4 times since. Place is beautiful, great for vacationing, camping, spending time with family. Close to the Sequoia National Forest. If you've never seen the huge trees definitely worth the trip. Campground is clean so I was surprised to see those restroom/shower complaint post on here. I know last year the campground was trying to get employees to come back to work and were under staffed but I just left yesterday and they had way more staff. No issues with any staff member. Also I feel like staff was cleaning the restroom/shower area every time I went over there. Also the pool is back up and running. I've only camped on tent sites (32,33,34,35) so I cant speak for the RV or Cabin aspect.

Yelp
Location earns it a Star. COVID precautions as far as clean facilities? I'm surprised they haven't been fined or shut down. Got to the site at 3pm, bathrooms were disgusting. Went back at 10pm and no one attended to them. Same feces in the same spot on the seats. They also do not enforce the 10pm quite time. A large family was partying until 1am screaming and yelling. The "staff" just drove right by told them to turn off the music at 10pm but did not ask them to keep their voices down. Moreover, they most definitely did not enforce the 6 people per site. Furthermore, the staff failed to enforce the no walking through other people sites to access the river. All in all the facilities are unsatisfactory and quite frankly unsafe, the staff explain the rules but do not enforce it. My family, and friends are avid campers both site and dispersed and this is by far the worse. Do yourself a favor, skip this site, do your due diligence and get a spot in the actual National Forest if you want to be close.

Yelp
We stayed in an RV spot here back in August 2021. Our RV is 30' and I also paid for an additional car. When we got to our spot, there was a large space in front that I assumed was the spot for our car. We left for the day and returned to find another RV parked in the spot. They stack spaces one in front of the other and there's virtually no privacy. We were also given a spot with 30amps and we needed a 50 amp spot. So we weren't able to run more than one item at a time without blowing a breaker. Bathrooms were dirty. Spaces were cramped. The only reason to give this any stars would be the distance to the Sequioa entrance. The company sent a survey and I gave my honest review snd asked about a refund for the car spot they never provided us, but I never heard anything back from them. I don't recommend.

Yelp
Stay Away until they make some major changes, not peaceful, clean, or safe, terrible for children. I rarely write negative reviews, and I reached out to the management before letting them know I was going to post this. Below is my email to them, with their verbatim response. My list of complaints is extensive: 1) For the two nights of our stay July 21 and July 22, 2020, unbelievably loud music was played from three different campsites throughout the campgrounds, including multiple songs with every obscene word you can imagine, including racial epithets and graphic sexual language. For my wife and I, fine, but for our two young children, not fine at all. Even after 10 pm both nights, the noise level was unacceptable for adults, let alone children (of which there seemed to be many). Management told me I should have called the patrol, but if the campground patrol needs campers to complain about such ridiculously loud music, they must not be anywhere near, or just don't care. 2) As for 7 pm yesterday (July 22) there was a whole case of empty beer cans on the beach just below the tether ball court by the rocks, and much trash on the beach. Management said in email response to my complaint: "The beach is cleaned in the mornings. Unfortunately we can't always get people to clean up their own messes." But the beach was filthy both days. If they cleaned it, they didn't care about the job they did. 3) Yesterday afternoon (July 21, 2020) three adults drank beer from cans while in the middle of the river by the beach (OK by me) but three other adults drank from glass wine bottles and glass wine glasses. I can't imagine what would happen the glass slipped from their hands and broke on the rocks in the rive, and if one of the many children that went swimming in the river stepped on a broken bottle or glass. Management said, "We are very strict about not having glass at the beach. If we had been informed of the violation, we would have sent staff to handle right away." 4) Multiple people of all ages were fishing right off the rocks in the same vicinity as young swimmers. I guess they were skilled with their rods, but what happens if they hook a kid? Or lose the line and a hook remains hidden in the rocks that a kid steps on? Management said, "We are also very strict about not having fishing at the beach. If we had been informed of the violation, we would have sent staff to handle right away. 5) A very young kid slammed into our tent with his scooter at 10 pm last night. Luckily, he was fine, and we were fine, but it was shocking and scary. Management: "I am very glad everyone was ok! We ask that children are in their campsites after dark. " 6) Far too many people were in the crowded bathrooms (both men and women) without a mask, making it unsafe to use given current CDC guidelines in the height of the Covid pandemic. Management: "We encourage all campers to use Social Distancing practices, but unfortunately we are unable to MAKE them comply." I ended my email to them by saying "I wanted to give you a chance to respond before I post on Yelp and other sites, warning families of what seems to be a dangerous, out of control campground." They ended their email to me: "I hope you will give us another chance in the future. July is the busiest month of the year, and most difficult to keep all of the campers in check." Their campers, at least for the last two nights, were not in check at all, and the campground patrol refused to act on their own initiative.

Yelp
Pros: 1. Staff are friendly, approachable, and helpful, unlike forest rangers from most National parks who always seem like they are always checking your campsites. 2. The sites are clean and well kept. The best tent sites is, site 49. Sites 47 and 48 are also decent but not as good as, 49. 3. On the weekdays (Monday-Friday morning) the campground is quiet and relaxing. However, Friday night can get loud and busy. This, of course, depending on your neighbor's "camping etiquette". (Sadly, my neighbors during my weekend stay endlessly play a loud Mexican music). 4. You can buy firewoods in the office, 9$ for small bundle. They also sell bread, ice, candies, and other camping necessity.(The office close at 5PM). 5. The campground is in pretty good location, just a blocks away from the nearest market, restaurants, and coffee shops. 6. Shower stall are FREE and comes with hot water. Cons: 1. Sites are pretty close to each other (tent, RV, and cabins). 2. No water source within tent sites. 3. Restrooms are nasty specially on the weekend when they are overbooked! Maybe adding an extra worker to clean the restroom might fix this issue. 4. There's only one shower building for the entire campground with about 8-10 stall for men and women.

Yelp
Our stay here was horrible. The bathrooms were dirty most of the time, people partied until two or 3 o'clock in the morning, And security did nothing to help keep the peace. We were told it was a family friendly environment which quickly was proven not to be true. As people were playing very explicit music and staying up all night keeping everybody in the campsite awake. If you did call security they would come and tell the people to be quiet but once they left the people would get loud again and the security wouldn't come back to double check. It was a free-for-all after midnight. If you want to party and don't care about the conditions or if you sleep, then please stay here because this will be your place.

Yelp
This was our first time at this camp ground. It is wonderful. We camped in R-29 for 4 days. Full hook ups. Riverfront. Nice big tree to shade the motorhome. There is a short walk to the river to swim. Water was absolutely wonderful, clean and everyone was friendly. The staff escorted us to our site and even took our trash for us to the dumpster. We were very impressed with this place. We were about an hour away from the state parks and took full advantage. We spent the entire day in the giant forest and got to see and experience so many awesome things. We will be back!

Yelp
We had a great experience at this beautiful and very staff friendly campground! We had a big group rent several tent spots in the river could not have asked for a better location. The river is perfect for big and small kids to play in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they even delivered our ice and fire wood to our camping spot! We had a great time and will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Sad that this campground closed down and will no longer be open for tents or RVs. Going to miss this campground. Have been going there for 50 + years.

Yelp
The last time I was here to spend the night it was in the summer and it was complete chaos. Tons of people walking right through our Campground without care, 12 year old girls swimming in their underwear could not get my friends boys to come back to the campground. I did come back for a day trip yesterday and it was a completely different story. It's better to go when it's not crowded, it's the beginning of April now. Completely quiet, it was absolutely beautiful. We sat in a camp spot and had lunch and watched the rafters and kayakers go down the creek. It was a great day :-)

Yelp
I've been camping my whole life and in my 40+ years this was the most accommodating campsite ever. We prefer not to stay in packed RV parks (BLM land- and NP campgrounds are our fav) but we had no choice this spring break b/c the national park sites were sold out or not open yet. I'm glad we stayed here. The staff was amazing. They delivered ice when we ordered it. They gave us doggy bags and dog treats when they saw us walking our dog. They offered to take our trash when we were headed to the trashcan. And they brought us a free bundle of firewood when we had a misunderstanding at check in. Whenever we were close to each other they put on masks. They exchanged my $10bill for quarters even though the store was not open yet. Everything about this stay was pleasant. I like a little more space between campers but we spent most of our time in the NP so it didn't really matter. We'd go back.

Yelp
4/5 Quality of Service or Product 5/5 Customer Service 4/5 Value 4/5 Environment 4.25 Rounds Down= 4 Quality of Service or Product: It is a great place to bring your family to experience camping. There is a river a couple of feet away from you. The scenery is a beauty. Customer Service: I have always had a pleasant experience at this location. I have been coming here for 20 years now. Value: The prices are fair compared to what is around the area. Environment: It does get really busy in the summer. Best time to beat the crowds is Fall, Winter, and early Spring. Overall it's an awesome place to be at with family and friends. I don't recommend the summer for it is super busy. I personally do not like crowds. They accommodate for larger groups. They also have a community pool if river swimming is not your thing.

Yelp
I would like to give 5 stars to this campsite for being great in terms of location and scenic enviroment. Since it's right on the river and in close proximity to the entrance to Sequoia National Park, it makes it one of the best camping and lodging choices. On the other hand, I would like to give 3 stars for my overall cabin experience. Our family stayed in so called Deluxe Cabin. Well, it was far from being deluxe. It was more of a motel style cabin since it had a lot of motel features (common walls with the other two cabins to the left and right, room set up, from the pros it had bed sheets, blankets and towels, also a set of bathroom necessities). The room had a kitchenette. There was a basic set of dishes (4 of each kind), utensils and pots. So here what I found disappointing: the tray that held the utensils was too big to fit in one drawer (there was only one drawer in the kitchenette) and was placed in the cupboard; there was no cooking space on the kitchen counter since the microwave took some space on the left from the sink and the sink was next to the stove on the right; our refridgerator (it was of a good camping size) had a door opening towards the wall and not towards the kitchenette space (this way it was quite uncomfortable, the door should have been secured opening the other way); there was a table enough for 4 people but in order to use it for all 4 of us we had to pull it out from the alcove and thus it took third of the kitchenette space reducing the walking space between itself and the stove to about 2 feet; the only coffee machine was similar to Keurig coffee maker and there were only 2 decaf coffee pods (more were available for a fee at the office). Also, in the bathroom the light switch was behind the door, it seemed located in the wrong and inconvenient place. My expectations were higher for this place and I am writing this review not to complain but so the others, who will be renting these Deluxe Cabins, would know what to expect.

Yelp
I'm only giving this campground a 1 star because of the location on the river. We went during Memorial Day weekend. Nobody enforced the limit of people per camp site. People blaring inappropriate music. Bathrooms are disgusting. And the quiet time was not enforced at 10pm. People partying, yelling, and screaming until 1am. This is one the most ghetto campsites I've been to. Definitely not an appropriate campsite for families with small kids.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
It's a normal campground, and from what we could tell the tent sites are well maintained and spacious. The cabins looked OK, but I can't tell you what they looked like inside. There are a few campground game sites, the usual Volleyball, handball, and horseshoes. We were in a 32ft RV, so we were packed into the a small area with other RVs, rear bumper to front bumper, with a mere 8 feet to stretch out left to right. With the high price we paid, paying extra $10 per night for a 6 year old (7th person in RV) some extra space would have been nice. Their policy is clearly stated, but gee wiz, it's a bit nickel and dime. You can't swim in the river, it's fast flowing, and they offered no alternative other than their swimming pool. We didn't use it, as it was overrun, and there is no river swimming hole anywhere near. They should have mentioned it when we booked, it would have been good to know. Also, there is no fishing at this campground, my kids were sorely disappointed. The bathrooms. Oh yuck. They get cleaned out daily, add fresh TP and soap, but they are probably the most disgusting bathrooms I've ever encountered at any campground. The toilet stalls are extremely small, the shower stalls are even smaller, with little to no room to move around. The privacy walls and locks are broken. There are cobwebs probably years old hanging from the ceiling. (Would it hurt to take a hose to those cobwebs?) With all the money this campground pulls in, they can update both men's and women's bathrooms. They even have porta-potties on site to accommodate all the campers, but I didn't go in any one of those. The clubhouse is sorely lacking. It does have AC and tables to use for card or board games. Another commenter mentioned that he was told to keep the noise level down, which is funny. On the last day of our stay, a religious revival group gathered, singing songs and shouting "happy halleluiahs!" I wonder if they got dinged for being loud. Nothing against them, but its wrong to tell one camper to keep quiet, when others are just as loud. In fact another group of campers was playing loud music in the middle of the day, I wonder if they were told to keep quiet. Just sayin'. But we did make it into Sequoia National Forest, so that was nice. The folks in the reservation office were professional enough.

Yelp
We will NEVER stay here again. This place is the worst. They charge you for anybody over 2 people staying at your site. So if you have 3 people the third person is an extra $5 per night plus an extra $10 if they have their own car. So my parents drove up to have dinner with us for about 2 hours and we had to pay $30 extra dollars. RIDICULOUS. It wouldn't be so bad if the grounds we kept up nicely but they are not. The grass is dead, the trahes are overflowing and so is the septic. The park knew that the spot next to us and behind us had full septic tank but the still rented them out. The people had to move to a different spot to dump their tank.....this is unexceptable. Then they are like prison gaurds. They drive around looking for things to reprimand you about. I was walking my dog (on a leash) in the tent area and got told I have to stay in the RV section. Then they told a guest that he could not fish on the beach area and within minutes one of the employees, who must have been off work, came and started fishing in the same area. Hypocrites. The site spaces are basically stacked on top of each other. There is no space or privacy between the sites. It is so cramped that people are constantly walking thru your campsite. Needless to say we won't be visiting this place again. Also they have wristbands that you are supposed to wear at all times if you are a guest. Problem os that they aren't consistent on who they give these too. Some people had them and others didn't. What's the point

Yelp
Beautiful place, friendly people, well kept would highly recommend.. if you do not have dogs. Rating is for not being dog friendly at all! They claim to be be friendly - website states you can have up to 3 pets per RV however, better be comfortable keeping them in the RV. They're not allowed on the beach, in the water, by the cabins or near the tent area...., why bother? Will not be coming here again, sad because I'm a hometown girl to these parts and I remember it being a less uptight town. I do want to stress that the staff is wonderful. Courteous, helpful and overall good people.

Yelp
We came to this campground because we had stayed here before and it was well kept and beautiful . This time it was run down , out of water and the pool was disgusting . They called ahead to let us know about the water, they let us know they will be bringing water in the 2nd day of our stay and we chose to come anyways sine we had a full tank in our RV . They did not bother to tell us the pool was unusable, We are traveling with our friends from out of the country who have a small child .One of the reasons we choose to come back to this campground was for the pool . We also rented the one of the cabins , which was expensive . The carpet in the cabin was disgusting as well and the shower was awful with mold . Things in the kitchen didn't work . I would not recommend staying here Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else

Yelp
If i could post without a star i would. So disappointed with our stay in the cabins. We were just there last week and had not been on a vacation for over two years so we were really looking forward to it. We arrived and the cabin was covered in spider webs. I had to physically go through the whole cabin and clean down the webs and sanitize all the doors knobs and walls bc they were filthy. The second night i heard some scratching. Next morning i wake up to see counters covered in mice poop and my food (soups, bread, cookies, popcorn, etc) completely chewed threw. Ill posts pics. I had to send my husband to go pick up food which was over $200. I also cleaned up all my items and back into our bins to close everything and put our items away. I was so disgusted and couldn't even sleep, but didn't want to ruin my boys trip. I had already paid over $200 per night. I went to complain when i was turning in my keys and the owner came to meet me and told me everything would be taken care of and would be refunded. I get an email with less than $200 being returned when the grocery haul was simply $200 but my stay was about $850 for three days. I have no intention to ever stay here again. I will also make sure everyone knows the horrible customer service they have. I also saw that the next customers were allowed to go into cabin with no fumigation or extra cleaning.

Yelp
The campground itself is nothing out of the ordinary. Just dirt sites with a picnic bench and fire pit. The RV sites are rather small and go end to end with another trailer. There are some tent sites that go right up river which had plenty of shade and room. The bathrooms were unusable during my stay as there was feces on the ground and toilet seat. The WiFi was spotty at best. If I were to stay in Three Rivers again I would likely try another Campground before returning here. Don't get me wrong it's a great location, but nothing stands out to recommend to others or want to stay here again.

Yelp
Below average rating. Campground sits on a beautiful piece of land right along the river, that you can go and play in. But unfortunately the facilities don't match the beauty. There's 2 restroom locations not far from each other on each end of the property. Sinks in neither work consistently. Men's doesn't work at all in one. Only hot or cold water work in other men's and women's. Pool shower is only high enough to rinse your feet after swimming, not your hair or rest of your body for some reason. There's bare wires inches from one of the men's showers. There's no where in the restroom to place your things while showering without getting wet, such as a hook or bench. I had to double up some curtain hooks for my bag to keep it off the floor while showering. They want you to shut the water off after using, because it's well water, but you can't because the sinks leak. I suppose this would be a great campground for those who are use to primitive camping but not for those of us who appreciate the finer details hints in life, like working plumbing. And you'd think for over $100/night on a weekend they'd have their act together. Do yourself a favor and be warned. I'll stick with KOAs whenever possible.

Yelp
This place is nothing as advertised. If your idea of camping is being sandwiched in like sardines with hundreds of people and little to no shade or trees, loud ass music every 5 feet then this is your jam! Site staff was sweet, actual spot was just terrible. It felt like I was on a car lot with tents next to a river. Didn't even take our stuff out we just drove off and went home, an 8 hour drive in one day for nothing and being charged $100/night for that, honestly a joke and a fraud of a place. Each site is supposed to have a table ours didn't and when staff went to find one we just bounced. So uncomfortable and bad energy. This is not camping. Camping is immersed in nature with some semblance of space from others. Not safe with Covid! Sorry ‍

Yelp
This place is getting worse! If you are looking to have a good time, tell camping stories, make s'mores and laugh with your family, do not go here! apparently laughing is prohibited pass 10pm! but they only pick and choose who they want to tell. Oh and please do not let me forget the NEW Paul Blart (Mall Cop/Camp cop) It use to be a fun place but it is ridiculous now! we even went despite them not having running water! We will be looking for a new camping site for sure!

Yelp
Recently visited this campground for some tent camping during the week. There were only a few other tent campers so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. This is my second stay here, my first one being a little over a year ago. The first thing I noticed when returning was the lack of grass on the sites. Maybe it is because of the seasons (previous stay was in April) but the sites are now mostly dirt. The riverfront sites are large and offer a beautiful view of the river. Unfortunately you can not put a trailer or rv on the tent sites and the trailer sites leave something to be desired. The grounds are kept clean however the restrooms could use some attention. The trailer/rv sites are small and offer little space between you and the next person. They do not have a traditional fire pit but instead have what appears to be a washing machine drum on a pole. Overall a beautiful campground if you are tent camping and stay along the river. Can't recommend this place to trailer/rv campers for more than an overnight stay.

Yelp
We had an amazing time the first night the staff were friendly and helpful. However the second night we had a problem with loud music on the next property. At first I thought it was campers, but it turned out to be a neighboring property. I called and filed a noise complaint with the local sheriffs but even they said they weren't sure if they could stop it. I would say, come anytime during the week and avoid weekends at no fault of the property.

Yelp
The staff were very friendly and patient with me over the phone because I was very nervous about camping with all the fires nearby. They were happy to reschedule if we wanted to that but we decided to go in spite of all the smoke. So 5 stars for the staff and their prompt replies. 1 star, however, for the staff and their ability to keep the bathrooms clean and assist in maintaining COVID standards and protocols. This campground was packed! No social distancing, no signs encouraging masks in the bathrooms and so literally not one person I saw wore a mask in the teeny, tiny, DIRTY bathroom of 3 stalls that is meant to serve a large group of campers. There is another bathroom but it looked smaller than the one I saw. Also there was a group site that was packed which we found surprising as other campgrounds have closed group sites during the pandemic. Not helping to stop the spread! The health department would lose it's mind if it saw this. 1 star for not establishing a curfew. I am not exaggerating when I say inappropriate music was blasting in at least 3 surrounding sites at the same time - you couldn't hear yourself talk or even think. We have 2 small children and I was not impressed with the language education they received not to mention the lyrics that bashed women and police BUT the rules make sure to state no confederate flags can be displayed (which I am in total agreement on but why bother setting that precedent when you let other things go). Security is either spineless or just doesn't care. Not family friendly!!! So to sum up - dirty (even if COVID wasn't an issue - it's dirty!), party center of Sequoia, over populated, and zero enforcement of helping campers be considerate of other campers. We paid $143.00 for 2 nights of gross and loud camping. They charge way to much for what you get. I will say though that the river sites looked delightful but you still have those bathrooms and the lack of rules enforcing noise control. Have some standards Sequoia Campground! People drive from all over to admire this area of the country - be more proud of it.

Yelp
So let me tell you about this place, its not big, its not fancy, but its exactly what you want when you need a weekend getaway to Sequoia National Park (SNP)! I was in Bakersfield for work, and because of the schedule, I was going to have to stay over the weekend. I decided to take advantage of that and wanted to get out of town. I decided to visit the park, and started looking for a place to stay. I found KPR on Travelocity, and they had a great rate, plenty of pictures and it looked like a good fit. Its about a 2 hour drive, and I planned my arrival for just after check in time (3pm), they even called me to check on my arrival so they could make sure everything was ready, and let me know I could come anytime I wanted because my cabin was ready. I arrived and I was greeted by Heather and Sherri. These two ladies are what makes this place above and beyond! They were friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and just a pleasure to talk too. They gave me some great recommendations on restaurants (ol' buckaroo in Three Rivers, CA is EXCELLENT gourmet food on the Kaweah River). They gave me a laundry list of sties to see in the park, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. After I checked into my cabin, which was clean, and well maintained I decided that I actually wanted to stay an extra day, Sherri worked her magic and after a little bit of a shuffle, she got me another night at a great rate, I just had to jump down 2 cabins, no problem I said! The second cabin was just as clean and nice as the first. KPR has several very nice cabins, not fancy mind you, but I wasn't looking for fancy, a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed was all I wanted. They do offer WiFi, its not blazing fast, but I was there to unplug and relax, all I needed was enough to call my wife at the end of the day (T-mobile had no service at all in Three Rivers, and my Verizon work phone was spotty at best, but that is not what I was there for, the restaurant I mentioned before ol' buckaroo has great WiFi, so I just checked in with social media and called home at dinner). I spent all day Saturday in the Park and when I got back I regaled Sherri and Heather with my adventures, and they patiently listened with a smile (I'm sure they hear it all the time :) ), but you wouldn't know it to watch them! I ordered some firewood for the evening, which Heather delivered with a smile! The view from the camp is wonderful, a river that runs down one side of the park provides a relaxing sight and a pleasant sound, volleyball courts, and a small beach on the river, overall a great place to stay, turned into an amazing weekend away by Heather and Sherri! Thanks again ladies for a great impromptu weekend getaway!!! Chris P.S. Don't forget to bring tinfoil..... Ask Heather she will explain....

Yelp
This campground is not what it is hyped up to be. We did tent camping for three nights. Sites are small and tight and campers did not stay within their boundaries. The neighbors on the adjoining property obviously do not get along with the campground owners. Very loud music started between 10-11pm each night and continued until 2am. The bass was heavy enough to shake the ground we were sleeping on. We found out that this is a common occurrence. The bathroom/shower situation is not too good, either. Dirty! The reason for two stars? The campground staff were hospitable and the grounds were pretty.

Yelp
Unfortunately sticking with only 2 stars (the same as last years review). Just came back from our annual July trip to Three Rivers. Been coming to Sequoia Campground (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) for over 40 years. Went to check-in and we were told to leave and come back at check in time at 2pm. I told them I would pay the early check in fee as stated on their website and my spot was vacant. I was told they weren't allowing early check ins anymore so I told them then they needed to update their website because it clearly says you can if your spot is available and you pay a fee which I was willing to do. I then asked to speak to a manager and she told me she was out but that I could wait in my car for her. I was later told by another employee to come back in an hour and maybe they would have my spot cleaned. Never have I seen anyone ever clean the RV spots as there is nothing to clean, grass is dead!! So I left for exactly an hour came back and they checked me in and asked me to pay the early check in fee, so why couldn't I do that when I first got there?? Just like last year I was given wrist bands but just like last year I didn't see one person wearing them and no one enforces the wristband policy so what is the point? I had several family members camping there also and they weren't even given wristbands so who decides who gets them and who doesn't?? Just seems the management is not on top of things. The trash was constantly overflowing and so many people on the beach leave all their cans, bottles and trash all over the beach and not one employee even helps to clean it or tell the guests to clean up their mess. My husband, my kids and myself would pick up other people's trash just to try and keep the River/ bleach clean. No one enforces the no bottles, no canopies or no dogs on the beach rules. It's so sad how this place has gone down hill. I was raised coming here and the past couple of years have been a disappointment. Don't get me wrong I love to camp (RV) and will continue to go back but I just wished the management was more interested in the upkeep of the park and try to keep it clean. Luckily we have an RV and don't have to use the public restrooms cuz I heard they are horrible. On the plus side I met a man named Steve when we arrived as he was helping guide guests on where to go before you entered the office to check in and I have to say he was super nice and friendly and I was sad I didn't see him again before we left this morning.

Yelp
So very disappointed with our cabin at the Sequoia Campground and Lodge. We would never stay there again. We paid $250 a night for a filthy cabin. When we arrived, the refrigerator had old food in it that I had to clean out before using it. Under the refrigerator, there had to be at least an inch of muck and dirt. It was disgusting. It looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The fridge was on wheels so there was really no reason for this kind of filth. The bathroom was also disgusting. The shower was cracked and very small. It had mold and was not usable. Very disappointing. I was going to use the public showers but they were filthy too. Terrible. Our kids were staying at an RV site and the RV's were packed in like sardines. The power outlet keep blowing because they had too many people packed in. My son tried to complain and they tried to blame it on him! Outrageous. There were other RV's also having the same issue. They would not give my son any credit back to fix his AC that was blown because of their poor service. I complained and asked for a credit but they have not responded. Very disappointed. Do not stay here!

Yelp
Another year of great customer service and clean camping spot. This time around we got cabin C10 for my family. We loved it. Had plenty of space to sleep my family of 6. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The river is just as beautiful as always. This is out 4th year going there and hoping for many more to come with the family

Yelp
My husband and 2 kids had a great time here. The scenery was nice, and the staff was very welcoming. Things were pretty clean and kept up. The playhouse was great, there were amenities to cook and have dinner if you didn't want to stay cooped up in your trailer/campsite.

Yelp
This is a beautiful place to camp & the workers are very nice, but the problem is the owners and their lack of maintenance. They do not put effort into deep cleaning the cabins. We have rented out a cabin every year for the past 12 years and have always been happy with it until the park got sold to new owners. The cabins even have roaches and mice, something that had never happened prior to new ownership. Now the overall quality has gone down although the prices have gone up. Not sure if it's worth it to camp here anymore.

Yelp
We just stayed at the Sequoia Campground and Lodge for three nights in a pull through RV site, #22. We stayed Wed - Saturday and it was pretty quiet. Over half of the RV sites were full and only a few people were tent camping. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried, but I've learned to take some of the reviews on Yelp with a grain of salt. The employees were all very nice. We checked in quickly and had an employee guide us to our site. The bathroom was clean and I didn't see any mildew in the shower. Both the toilets and showers are pretty small but kinda the norm. The beach area next to the river was nice (a few people were there), but again we were here mid week and I'm sure it fills up and is crazy in the summer. We forgot our Weber so went into town to the Hardware Store and got a new one. The store has everything you'd need. We also restocked on beer at the store across the street. We will definitely stay here again and bring our kids and grandkids.

Yelp
I have been coming to this campground for the past three years because before, it was a lovely site with the Kaweah river running right by the side of the campgrounds and it's proximity to the beautiful Sequoia National Park. I knew that there were going to be new owners of the site this past year and knew some changes might occur but did not expect what my family encountered. CONS: -In starting the trip, my party arrived separately and I attempted to check in but due to some miscommunication between the staff, there was an issue with our reservations and we had to pay a missing fee of 90$ because of additional people and a car that was initially stated when the reservation was made but no note was made. The woman I spoke with in the office was terribly rude and did not seem to care about anything except charging the additional fees. Later on the issue was resolved and one of the employees compensated us for the trouble with ice and firewood which was appreciated. However, I sincerely hope that they change who they have in the office to handle check in's because that woman was rude and did not make the campground seem friendly at all. - Now, for whatever reason they make you wear wristbands to keep you accounted for. This feels a bit ridiculous in a campground as a wristband is going to get gross and worn after just a day of being outdoors in 100 degree weather, and moreover it shows a lack of trust between the staff and campers. - The security/staff ride around constantly in golf carts around the campgrounds as though they want to catch you doing something wrong, which again makes you feel untrusted and almost like a prisoner being constantly supervised. - Despite the constant rounds the staff made around the campground, the bathrooms were ALWAYS out of toilet paper by the end of the night which for an area of 40+ spots each holding numerous people is ridiculous. They did add port-o potties to help overflow but when its night time this does very little as there is no light inside. - The bathrooms seemed to be cleaned probably once a day which again for a highly populated area is crucially low and should be cleaned more often because the bathroom floors become covered in dirt and mud and get nasty. PROS: - The showers are now free which is kind of nice but if I had to pay for a shower and it meant nicer, cleaner bathrooms i would rather pay to contribute to that cause. - They have implemented a no noise rule after 10 which allows you to rest easy with little to no noise. - The campsite itself is a very nice location and the river is lovely to watch flow and to hear. I hate to write such a negative review about a place I used to cherish and look forward to going to all year however I hope staff reads these reviews with an open mind and sees that there is room for improvement because people will surely stop visiting this campsite if things don't change and they remain the same.

Yelp
Welp...we didn't come camping this year.. those two spots I mentioned in my last review are now up to $1250.... with the same amount of people and cars we had last year for around $800.... seeing the reviews i Can tell Im not the only one upset that this place I've loveddddd for so long is going downhill so fast. The girl on the phone who gave me prices was rude, barely saying anything.. not sure if we're willing to take the gamble and camp here again next year... by the reviews and the PRICE, Im guessing we shouldn't but I've loved this place for so long it breaks my heart to think I may never come back..

Yelp
I came to visit with my family for the first time in July. We loved it! The river was beautiful and the camp ground was well maintained. My advice is to take a broom and keep your KEYS IN THE TENT. We lost our car keys and since we needed them replaced we had to call so many people to get them duplicated. We had no internet, so we had to go to the office. Losing keys is the worst thing ever! All the workers there are helpful and pleasant. One person really stood out and helped me so much. I can truly say she was so nice to me and helped me tremendously go through my key problem. I want to send a million thank you's to Monica! You are such an awesome person and the campground is lucky to have you. Three hours later, by the grace of God and a tearful prayer, the keys were found by a little boy and the staff gave them to me.

Yelp
Clean and well cared for, my family and I had a great stay here. Probably considered off season, was quiet with awesome river access and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was attentive and friendly and pricing is very competitive. Looking for a fall getaway, this was a huge hit. We'll be back!!

Yelp
First timer and LAST timer!! They're Terribly rude The camp security literally drives up and down and pretty much looks for stuff to tell you can't do We arrived started setting up we had a small Generator-Security guy Drives up says not allowed to have a generator and that it says this on my confirmation email: I pulled up my email in front of him went through it not there. He Says it is on my camp ground rules which I had just received right when I checked in. I pulled those out went through with him it's not there Now he says he'll be back going to office to pull the rules comes back guess what NOT in there either. Then he says oh it makes noise so that falls under the noise rule which by the way is after 10 PM this was 2 PM. But " I'll let you" use it ‍ At night playing guitar round the fire pulled up said can't sing WHAT ??!! We had over 12 campsites all together no one was complaining we weren't even loud- thought I was in jail for a second-People are on vacation not prison I was waiting for my tent to be raided This can be a great spot but their security needs to be welcoming, friendly, helpful and not so rude and petty. And if generators are not allowed you may want to include this on your website, which by the way could use some more helpful information

Yelp
Been coming here since 2005. We camp in tents and it's amazing. Owners have been changing over the years but they've always done a great job maintaining the resort. Sequoia National Park only 10 minutes away. Great place to create memories with the family. Fyi they changed ownership and it's name has been changed Sequoia Campground & Lodge.

Yelp
I don't usually write reviews but this definitely requires one. Two stars only for the evening security guy that was super helpful and the blonde cleaning gal/staff member on Wednesday. Very nice folks. We had planned a trip in January to visit the Sequoias and decided not heed the Yelp reviews and take a chance here. We just returned from the campground where we rented the 'premium cabin' #1 for over $200/ night. What we encountered upon arrival gave us reason to pause and contemplate if we should check out before we even checked in. The rustic cabin had not been cleaned. During this pandemic with the emphasis on the need to be clean, that was truly a surprise! We brought this up to managment and were told 'sorry about that'...huh?! The beds were made and linens were on the shelves but the dust was thick on all hard surfaces. We had multiple cobb webs and dirt but we were glamping with the kids and decided to make the best of it. Thankfully I had my handy mask and disinfectants with me and cleaned the cabin for the next two hours. This was not the way to start a trip. The reason for this review was the HVAC issue. For the first two nights we tried to get the hvac to work (it was 95 degrees) but it didn't! We brought it up to the staff/man in the store and he told us to keep the door closed to keep cold air in...ummm, it was hot when we first arrived and never got better! Luckily there was a super attentive security guard/ camp host in the evenings driving the golf cart who made it happen (super short hair w mustache guy:-)He notified the manager of the hot air blowing out of the wall unit and the next day we got a new HVAC unit. While we appreciate the management team installing the new cold air unit, we still had Monday through Wednesday with hot air. We requested a discount for those nights (not a refund) and were told there is no discount! Really?!!...The description on your website says air conditioned cabins. There was NO AIR amongst other things. Some form of gesture in the name of customer service would have been appreciated but maybe times are tough and that's not a priority at this time or can't be done. Lastly- just a general observation, but where are the masks? NOBODY was wearing a mask including the staff to the point where at first glance I was uncomfortable to wear one... and then wore it anyways for my safety the entire week. We had to ask the staff that installed the HVAC to put one on prior to going inside the cabin. They happily complied. I need to emphasize that the staff driving around in the golf carts were good guys (and blonde gal) but management should truly consider polishing up their customer service and cleaning routine as this place has serious potential if they had the rustic cabins that were spotless on the inside and out (cobwebs). Simple to achieve. Other than those trivial issues that were resolved (except a discount) the trip was a memorable one! This would still be my choice if I had to choose any of the campgrounds or places to stay in Three Rivers because of the fun river and helpful staff.

Yelp
Had my daughters baptism this weekend in three rivers. We had family renting cabins here. We thought after the baptism we'd have a little get together with the 20 of us using the picnic benches from the completely unoccupied tent camping area for 2 hrs. Did not think it would become a fiasco. We were told that we had to pay $10 per car and $10 per person to use three picnic tables in the unoccupied tent camping area. Mind you we have people staying here. It was a bit unnecessary. We ended up throwing them some hush money to leave us alone. Only thing nice about this place is that it was a gorgeous day. The showers and bathrooms are pretty sad. The cabins haven't been updated in forever and a day. The staff needs to take a class in hospitality. I'm sure they treat their mothers better, maybe not.

Olivia B.

Yelp
Check out the nasty bathroom pics. We stayed in one of the cabins (deluxe). Absolutely not worth $113 a night! This place grossed me out! Floor needs to be redone. The shower needs to be refinished and cleaned. I decided not to shower because of the nasty shower floor; it looked like a blood stain in there. I didn't have any flip flops to use in the shower, but I'm not sure I would've even showered in there with flip flops. My husband turned on the shower water and the water pressure was apparently bad, so he also chose not to shower in there. Will never ever return.
