What a little gem in the city of Paris! And when I say “little”, I mean it - this place had about 7-8 tables in total. Our server was a friendly older woman who was also the chef (and owner?!). There was a sous-chef. The food was delicious! We ordered the French onion soup, escargot (my first time trying it and I liked it!), warm goat cheese and almonds salad, coq a vin, beef Bourgogne, and the crème brûlée. And of course, champagne. The coq a vin and beef looked verrrry similar, but upon further review and tasting, they were not (duh). The bathroom upstairs was simple but the coolest feature was a really old sink! The building was old and after visiting the Louvre, I wondered how old were the paintings on the walls. Check this place out! Cute little shops nearby (bought a leather purse at a wonderful rate!) and gelato.
