Aux Anysetiers du Roy is a beautiful, quaint, and thoroughly delightful restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming—warm, playful, and genuinely attentive. It felt exactly like the French countryside bistro I had always imagined, tucked perfectly into the heart of Paris. The food was outstanding. The foie gras was nothing short of heavenly, and the duck breast with honey and raisins was rich, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful experience here and would wholeheartedly recommend it. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

We chose this restaurant as every time we have visited Paris we go to La Jacobine, but this time that was closed. Looking for homemade real french dishes we found this place. They are very very kind and organized with service, the food is just awesome, onion soup better than the one in the place we wanted to replace, like no other, real real good. Rabbit and beaf meats were so juicy and soft than they melt in your mouth. Dessert is a five star here, do not skip it or at least order one and share but try it!!! You must!! They are glorious! Would go to this restaurant again if we visit Paris in the future again.

What a little gem in the city of Paris! And when I say “little”, I mean it - this place had about 7-8 tables in total. Our server was a friendly older woman who was also the chef (and owner?!). There was a sous-chef. The food was delicious! We ordered the French onion soup, escargot (my first time trying it and I liked it!), warm goat cheese and almonds salad, coq a vin, beef Bourgogne, and the crème brûlée. And of course, champagne. The coq a vin and beef looked verrrry similar, but upon further review and tasting, they were not (duh). The bathroom upstairs was simple but the coolest feature was a really old sink! The building was old and after visiting the Louvre, I wondered how old were the paintings on the walls. Check this place out! Cute little shops nearby (bought a leather purse at a wonderful rate!) and gelato.

The duck with honey and raisins sauce was honestly the best duck I’ve ever had. The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy and unique. I would definitely recommend eating here!

Excellent totally trad French restaurant run by a couple of old pro’s. Food is absolutely on point for classic French dishes like Beef Bourgignon, Coq, Lapin, Tarte Tatin etc. Low fuss not overly poncey. Great place for a quality meal.
