Aux Lyonnais

We ate here in early December and it was outstanding. The atmosphere is old school, the staff is charming and professional and overall so perfect for the "long, elegant lunch" vibe we wanted. The quenelles were ethereally light and the sauce tasty. The Salade Lyonnais was just right. The pork belly with potatoes was rich and flavorful but not heavy. A very nice wine list. We are coming back to Paris this year and Aux Lyonnais will be a repeat for us for sure.

We booked last minute and without searching it a lot , and we had ome of our best nights in our Paris trip! Amazing people , very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is nice decorated and creates a very warm and original atmosphere . As for the food , it’s was GREAT. fresh and well cocked dishes and appetizers, perfectly balanced and executed. Definitely we are gonna visit again.

Not as good as in the past.The starters were fine although the terrine was quite basic. The pork was good, the quenelles were dry and overcooked. The 2 desserts ,chocolate and crème caramel were not so good - both too firm - maybe because they are transported from elsewhere. The service was very good and very friendly.

I am loathe to share just how good this was, because Aux Lyonnais is wonderfully uncluttered by TikTokers ticking through viral restaurants, but this is as close to a perfect restaurant as any. The food is delightful, the service is helpful, witty and never overbearing, and the space itself is endlessly full of charm. I cannot wait to return.

Good food from Lyon. Short menu with regional dishes. We tried the tasty sausage with lentils, lobster cake and scallops. Place is an old bistrot with lots of charm. Service a bit slow.

Quintessential Parisian charm, an amazing meal, and fantastic service. We enjoyed the escargot to start, followed by a beef fillet with an incredible pepper sauce, all paired with the wine our waiter recommended, which was sublime.
