Aux Pains de la Ferme

Even after trying several good bakeries over 4 weeks in France, we were still blown away with the quality and taste of the pastries we got from here. There was always a line, but don't worry as it goes really fast, since people seem to always know what they want and the check out is super efficient. My husband highly recommends the chocolate/coconut bar (last pic) if you're into that, and says it's one of the best things he's ever tried.

The ladies that served us were the friendliest people we met throughout our stay in Paris. The sandwiches were delicious and the pastries even more so. Absolute gem of a place with a beautiful location and fair prices. Would highly recommend this local cafe over chains just down the street.

Absolutely delightful. Breads, tarts, quiche, giant merengue, cheesy stuffed baguettes - absolutely would go back in a heartbeat.

Amazing!!! We went back multiple times. The best pastries we found in all of France. The pistachio macaron filled with cream and raspberries was to die for. If I lived here, I'd go several times a week. One of the best things I've ever eaten!

Amazing chocolate crossaint. So flaky with just enough chocolate to make it delicious. Fresh and yummy. And bought another right away after the first one was gone!!! And the attendant was patient and helpful and spoke English. Highly recommended

I visited after seeing reviews saying that the baguette and pistachio cakes were delicious. It was afternoon time, but locals were waiting in line. I bought baguette, eclair pistachio, and macaron pistachio. I ate eclair pistachio yesterday, and it's really delicious because it's full of pistachio cream. The baguette I ate today was crispy on the outside and chewy and light on the inside. The macaron pistachio looked delicious just by looking at it, so it was a shame to eat it. The taste is also the best. It is very delicious.

The best bakery we visited in France! The owner was so sweet and gave us extra pastries just because “you’ll love them”. We did!! If you are visiting Versailles and would like to stop for a pastry this should be your place. I had a pain au chocolat - I’ve had many on our trip and theirs was the best!

We ordered salads and a quiche and several desserts. The prices were amazing and everything we ate was divine. Their sign said they use organic ingredients.

Lovely spot to select a morning pastry this morning. Aux Pains de La Ferme is just down the street from the train station; an easy walk there and back up toward Versailles where we spent our morning. The inviting display tempts patrons with a array of choices. How could one go wrong? My fruit tart tasted heavenly - flaky, not too sweet, a wonderful tartness from the berries. My only disappointment was reaching the last bite! My husband's pastry was delightful as well. Quick, efficient service keeps customers moving. Highly recommend!

Out of all of the boulangeries that we went to while we were in France, this one was by far the most welcoming. They knew we were tourists and they knew we spoke limited French and they took that as an opportunity to practice their own English. We got a couple croissants and I enjoyed it. It was flaky and soft. The lady helping us out even gave us a few pate a choux for free as a gift! I thought that was really nice of them! However, we got a lunch sandwich with lettuce, tomato and bacon and I didn't really like it. The sesame bun was really hard and rough and everything in the sandwich felt disjointed. To say the least, I was pretty disappointed with the sandwich. All in all, this boulangerie has friendly employees with good pastries. I cannot, however, vouch for their sandwiches.

Just fyi, no seating here. But this bakery was cute and had very helpful and friendly service. We got a croissant with chocolate in it- perfectly light and delicious- as well as raspberry tarts (tarte aux framboise) which were delicious. Not too much tart or citrus flavor that it was overpowering but enough to compliment the fresh raspberries and crumbly crust! Overall, it was a great experience- food was great, service was efficient and yet not rude, and it wasn't crowded with tourists.

We were doing a little walk into town before leaving on the train back to Paris, saw some great looking lunch fare in the window along with great looking pastries. Despite a crowd, we squeezed our way in. Service was fast and the two women who helped us couldn't have been sweeter. One of them offered us a couple of sweet bites gratis and the other helped us with a delicious hot dog on french bread smothered in multiple cheeses and a mini veggie quiche Both were great! Lovely selection and friendly staff.

This bakery is AMAZING!! The staff was very friendly and helpful plus it's an organic bakery!! Every single thing I had from them was delicious. Totally worth the trip from California to France.

The best croissant in Versailles it was buttery fresh, crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside delicious goodness. We also tried a few other pastries and dessert. Everything here is yummy! We wanted to buy more but didn't want to carry around with us. Definitely recommend if you are visiting Versailles.

Such a cute little shop. We arrived close to the lunch hour and encountered a small line that moved quickly. The shop employees were lovely and helpful. The pastries were delicious. We got a quiche, two chocolate croissants and a plain croissant but we wanted to buy one of everything because it all looked so amazing. If you're in Versailles, a stop into this shop for a quick lunch or a snack is a must.

We were looking to get lunch before Versailles and decided to try this place. The works spoke great English, were extremely helpful and very friendly. The sandwiches we had were really tasty, both the bread and the toppings. We even had a little dessert which was also great. She gave us a recommendation to walk about 8 minutes down the street to sit and have lunch at the lake which was prefect. If you are looking for a simple lunch that tastes great, try this place!!

Stopped here around 9am on our way to see the Palace. The nicest lady was working the counter. We were able to communicate with each other using broken English and French. But instead of being annoyed, she was so friendly and welcoming. Tried a plain croissant and a chocolate croissant. Both were delicious and very freshly made. Slight crunchy outside and pillow soft on the inside. Wish croissants at home tasted like this. If I'm ever back in Versailles, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

This pastry shop in Versailles was very welcoming. They also have medium sized salads and small quiches, some stuffed baguettes, and flat breads. We had a large pistachio/raspberry macaroon and a strawberry shortcake, both were excellent! We also had a salad that was great and a stuffed baguette that was incredible! English speaking, very welcoming, accept cc's, close to the palace on walker-friendly sidewalks!

This was a fabulous place to get some baguette sandwiches before going to The Palace of Versailles. Beautiful food and very kind service!

Amazing pastries at a great price, they also have pizza style bread and sandwiches so not just for sweets! Staff were very great and friendly despite a large volume of customers. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Versailles.

Affordable, tasty take-away food perfect for picnicking or taking back on the train. A decent assortment of savory lunch options (tarts, quiche, focaccia), fresh bread, and treats galore. We didn't speak French and they didn't speak English. Despite that, the ladies working there could not have been friendlier. The food and the prices were well worth the five minute walk into town.
