The lodge is not a high-end hotel, but it's clean and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the fjord. What makes it special is the staff. Summer manager Justin and his colleagues from Pangnirtung provided good meals and some remarkable desserts to an always-changing number of guests. Once when several flights out had been cancelled due to poor weather and one flight dropped off passengers who weren't even coming to Pangnirtung, the staff and the Co-op manager did everything they could to accommodate and feed everyone. It was display of great hospitality.

Louis can be grumpy, but also really happpy. he helped me get 20 pounds of fillet turbot from his connection to the fisheries. I was happy with that. but there is a fridge and microwave in the common area where you can keep food and make it in the microwave. Very homey rooms, nothing to write home about. It's the view though, Pang is so beautiful. Only restaurant in town and it's only at one time so if you miss it your out of luck. Close to Northern, not close to any GN operations. Only place to stay. If planning summer stay, call waaaaay in advance to make sure you get a spot as it's a busy spot because of the park.

Got stuck here for a few days in March and Louis, the manager, made me feel more than welcome and right at home. The man cooks up some amazing meals and cares about his guests. The accommodations are modest but comfortable. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

This was my first time in Pang. The flight in was amazing and Dawn met us at the airport. I had a room with its own bathroom with a view of the sound. The food was very good-Dawn was great meeting all of our needs including finding the materials we needed to pack our fish to bring it home It was my first time in Pang but I will definitely be back and look forward to staying at the Auyuittuq again.

From the moment I arrived and was met at the airport by Dawn (hotel manager) until the day I departed I felt right at home. Dawn and her staff provided great service and would go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The meals were top notch - especially the arctic char chowder and the views from the porch we spectacular.||||The gift shop had one of a kind pieces of art that were all made by local artists. Dawn invites the artists into the lodge every evening to talk to guests and show off their work - this is a real nice way of supporting the community.||||Travelling in Canada's North should be on everyone's bucket list - you won't be disappointed.

Chef Manager Louis is awesome! He made us feel right at home, prepared a wonderful dinner and brought us to the airport. All those who need accommodation in Pangnirtung are fortunate that Louis is the innkeeper.

Louis knows customer service. Louis knows generosity. Louis knows good food. The guy is an absolute gem and a welcome reception after an 18 day winter expedition through the park. He took care of us like we were one of us own. So, so friendly! Can't say thanks enough Louis!

I have stayed at the Auyuittiq Lodge many times, most recently this week. The rooms are always clean, most rooms have their own bathrooms, and the food that Louis prepares is outstanding. While this is the only hotel in Pang, it does not behave like it is a monopoly. This is one of the best of northern accommodations.
