Avala Resort & Villas

We were very happy that we booked this hotel even tho there was few not so good reviews about it. I think it’s off season now so it was not grouded and staff was polite and not in rush. We booked room with a Mountain View and got an upgraded villa for free. Beautiful sea view and two balconies. Rooms were clean and bed comfy. Cleaning everyday and fresh towels. Location is excellent, Old town, markets, restaurants and shops just in minutes of walk. Spa, saunas and gym were fine, there was everything you needed. Breakfast good. Highly recommend and would come again!

Can't believe all the negative reviews. Beautiful hotel, staff were all helpful. Room was amazing with fantastic balcony and views of the od town and sea. Great big spacious room with a lovely bathroom and bath. Brekky was great. Pool area lovely, when the storms hit the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room sauna were brilliant. Book heavily and ignore the negativity. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat. ❤️

Great hotel, great service, top location. Great wellness. Only small minus, I put a don’t disturb card on the door and the cleaning lady still came in.

Had a pretty good stay here. The location is very good , very close to the old town and on the small, town beach. Breakfast was pretty good. Staff is generally friendly. Room was quite spacious and bathroom was good. Spa was good, range of saunas and a couple of pools.

The hotel facilities were fantastic, upon arrival we were upgraded to the president suite which made us feel like royalty as it could have fit a family of 20+. The spa and bar was lovely, and pool facilities were also great. There is a second pool by the villas which was a lot quieter but didn’t have the sun all day. The resturant was nice, quite traditional food for breakfast but they had all cereals, fruit, pastries etc. The location was perfect; right opposite the old town with lots of choice for bars and restaurants. The private beach associated with the hotel was a big bonus, easy to get beds incl towels and umbrella and the beach bar food was incredible. Would highly recommend location and the hotel.

Great location, as a family of 5 we have had no issues getting sun beds on the beach. So close to the old town, which has a great selection of restaurants and bars. We’ve had two rooms, both of which are very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our three grown sons to share. |There is plenty of choice at breakfast and also at the beach bar. Service on the beach is sometimes a little slow but nothing awful.|There are lifeguards there every day should anyone need any assistance. |The pool, steam room and sauna are also great - wonderful to have access to these facilities for free.|We would also recommend the waterpsorts next to the hotel (not affiliated I don’t think).|The guy in the bar was lovely, very friendly and great service - and a great view to enjoy a drink or a cocktail - or a thunderstorm!|We have had a special family holiday here - great to just relax and enjoy being together in a lovely location.

Location of the hotel and view from our balcony were fantastic. The beach and pool are also lovely. Check-in at 3 pm is too late. Missing kettle in the rooms and no kids playground, which both are strange.

I cannot fault any part of this Hotel. Oozed quality at every turn. sheets , bed, dressing gowns and towels were real quality and the beds so comfy. The staff were responsive and pleasant. The infinity pool over the sea was amazing.| The breakfast was ok but a little repetitive. The chef needs to come out and check the hotplate in person as the young girls tasked just rearranged the eggs which had been there far too long and on occasion were like bullets.|I made comment to one of the staff and the next day the chef kept popping out and there was a dedicated person making the omelettes and fried eggs. which shows the staff listen to concerns and address them . Well done all of you and thankyou for an extremely pleasant stay *****.
