This large hotel’s main asset is its position. It commands the perfect spot, very close to the Old Town, adjacent to the beach and with beautiful views of Budva and the harbour/sea. The design inside is modern, with plentiful, beautifully furnished & decorated public areas which are cool and peaceful to relax in. The aperitif bar, overlooking the ocean, was never busy and it was a delight to enjoy the cool breeze and sea views of an evening.|The infinity pool was great though getting a sunbed wasn’t always easy. (Didn’t use the indoor pool.)|The restaurant served buffet meals - the food was good, the area for food serving was spacious & well-stocked, the seating arrangements were very good; always plenty of room. |On arrival the hotel had no knowledge of our booking!! Fortunately they were able to find a room when we showed them our reservation. The room was satisfactory, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Housekeeping serviced it well. Somewhere to put wet swimwear would be useful. The design of the bathroom was very poor with dreadful lighting - it was almost impossible to see when in the shower behind a dark grey shower curtain!! The magnifying mirror could have been great for makeup if only it weren’t positioned over the toilet!!|Some staff were friendly and helpful, others very dismissive. Not all spoke English (understandably) but they seemed unable/unwilling to refer enquiries to an English speaker. Porterage was non-existent.…… a young man who stood watching whilst guests struggled with cases.|The beach bar, sunbeds, parasols, tables etc immediately outside the hotel were good but the actual beach was awful - very stony and almost impossible to swim in due to rocks. A better beach is 1/2 mile walk away (Mogren) but it did get extremely busy.|Overall a very pleasant stay but quite pricey for what you get.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I won’t go into all the problems with hotel|As there are too many, but within hours of arriving I fell off the side of a ramp flat on my face onto hard black tiles and spent the rest of my holiday in a wheel chair. This hotel is a death trap,Matt black tiles with no hand rails on stairs or ramps all with poor lighting. To get to the dining room you had to walk through an unlit unused bar area and then down two flights of stairs. I couldn’t do this but used the small glass lift to get down, at the bottom the door stuck and I couldn’t get out. I was stuck for 20 mins in 34 degrees of heat. Eventually I managed to get the lift back up to the top by pressing the button in continually. The restaurant manager said it was temperamental and they were waiting for an engineer to come from Slovakia to fix it why were there no signs to tell people not to use it. We tried to report my accident several times to the hotel management but were told there was no process in place for reporting accidents. I could go on and on about how discussing this hotel was the food was inedible. Thank god we were only there for one night, there was one good point the location, so my husband could push me to nearby restaurants to eat. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Especially if you are over 60 or have children.

Very nice hotel, great location, super for a holiday! The rooms are clean, comfortable, but there is no free bottled water like in other hotels of this class (you can take it from the minibar, or buy it in a store nearby). The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Breakfasts are varied, delicious. The hotel has its own sandy beach with sun loungers, but the sand is only near the sun loungers, and the rest is pebbles. The pool is very good with an excellent view of the sea.

A Truly Memorable Stay – Beyond Expectations! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐||From the moment we arrived, this holiday was something special. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking – waking up to that every morning felt like a dream. The interior of the room was beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches that made it both stylish and comfortable.||A wonderful surprise was the birthday cake waiting for us on arrival – such a lovely personal touch that really set the tone for the whole stay.||Throughout the holiday, the staff went above and beyond. From the friendly concierge and smooth check-in experience Igor, to the most attentive poolside service Felipo (thank you!), nothing was too much trouble. Every interaction felt genuine and warm.||Thank you for making this break so memorable – we left feeling refreshed, and already planning our return!

I have never been at so unclean, poorly managed and outdated hotel. We were staying at Villas. Shower with mould in it, air conditioners making loud noises, floors are dirty, sofa coushins are dirty. The room keeping practically not hapenning. They took the trash thats it. Sheets were changed one time in a whole week. Room keeping is done early in the morning. Escalators to Villas not working most of the time so be ready for a lot of stairs every time. Breakfasts are poor. The exact same things every day whole week. Cocktails are bad. However, the view and place is great! We were staying here few years ago and everything just going downhill.

We've just finished a week’s holiday at Hotel Avala, everything was absolutely great. The location, hotel, spa facilities, breakfast all fantastic. No complaints at all and we’ve never slept so well on holiday. In our villa the hairdryer was broken and reported to reception and within a few hours they had repaired/replaced it. We had trouble locking the patio door and they sent someone out to repair it immediately. You won’t be disappointed if you book this Hotel, we definitely recommend 😊

The hotel has a great location, but we had serious water supply issues in the villas. During peak hours, especially in the morning and around 7 PM, there was no water at all. It was impossible to shower or use water when needed. Very disappointing for a hotel of this level.
