This large hotel’s main asset is its position. It commands the perfect spot, very close to the Old Town, adjacent to the beach and with beautiful views of Budva and the harbour/sea. The design inside is modern, with plentiful, beautifully furnished & decorated public areas which are cool and peaceful to relax in. The aperitif bar, overlooking the ocean, was never busy and it was a delight to enjoy the cool breeze and sea views of an evening.|The infinity pool was great though getting a sunbed wasn’t always easy. (Didn’t use the indoor pool.)|The restaurant served buffet meals - the food was good, the area for food serving was spacious & well-stocked, the seating arrangements were very good; always plenty of room. |On arrival the hotel had no knowledge of our booking!! Fortunately they were able to find a room when we showed them our reservation. The room was satisfactory, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Housekeeping serviced it well. Somewhere to put wet swimwear would be useful. The design of the bathroom was very poor with dreadful lighting - it was almost impossible to see when in the shower behind a dark grey shower curtain!! The magnifying mirror could have been great for makeup if only it weren’t positioned over the toilet!!|Some staff were friendly and helpful, others very dismissive. Not all spoke English (understandably) but they seemed unable/unwilling to refer enquiries to an English speaker. Porterage was non-existent.…… a young man who stood watching whilst guests struggled with cases.|The beach bar, sunbeds, parasols, tables etc immediately outside the hotel were good but the actual beach was awful - very stony and almost impossible to swim in due to rocks. A better beach is 1/2 mile walk away (Mogren) but it did get extremely busy.|Overall a very pleasant stay but quite pricey for what you get.
