We got the family suite, which the layout worked perfectly for our family to separate the baby from waking up the 4 year old throughout the night. Also great sound-proofing since we didn't hear any other guests and it seems they didn't hear us.
The location makes walking around really convenient, and we were even able to watch the famous Osoyoos Canada Day fireworks from the comfort of the rooftop balcony. This was perfect since the kiddo could sleep until the last minute when we woke her up to see them. Also made it so we could avoid the traffic afterwards.
The air conditioning was nice and cold, but is only in the front, so you need to keep the bedroom door open to let it in, or it gets a bit stuffy.
I have family that always stayed here when they used to come every summer and it was nice to hear that the original owner's son has now taken it over. I love to support a family business.
The only thing that I wish was a little better was the floor was rather dirty when we first arrived. The owner was friendly though with my mother when she brought it up, and even took it upon himself to personally clean it up. I'd also argue that most hotels with carpeted flooring are probably just as dirty, but that the carpet hides it easier than tile. But tile is much easier for any accidents in the kitchen too, so still a good call that they have it.
Will definitely stay again, especially for the affordable price!
