Avani+ Khao Lak Resort

I have never thought of staying here before buy had booked to stay here because a friend recommended. I was very impressed with the hotel's facilities. This hotel has everything you need in one location, fitness, activities for both adults and children. Many kids' friendly areas, farm, gardens, golf, and a lot more. The ground is very large and green with lots of trees. The services was great. The staff are well trained and helped when needed. Breakfast was very good with many choices. This is in monsoon season so, there were not too many people when I was there. I recommend this place if you have family with kids.

I had a wonderful time with my family here! Although we came in a rainy season, there’s still many things left to explore or relax on your comfy bed and sliding yourself under the warm blanket! I wanna take this opportunity as an appreciation to all kind staff that provide an excellent service. We had some challenging on the first day we arrived and the front team, operator, bell man and all lovely staff that I didn’t mention weren’t hesitate to provide a solution and make our stay even more enjoyable. Also, big appreciation to Khun Kwan and the other lovely lady staff (sorry I can’t remember her name! 😱) at the beach bar area for making the most delicious drink and a splendid experience and time in our second night. And of course the breakfast, variety choices for food to select and very delicious. Overall we are very happy and impressed with how beautiful the hotel and friendly staff and definitely need to find a time to be back here again!

I stayed at Avani+ Khao Lak on June 21st, just for one night as part of my birthday trip. Of course, they couldn’t stop the rain—but they truly made up for it with excellent service.||Special thanks to Khun June and Khun Julie Lobby staff who took such great care of me. My pool access room felt like a little haven tucked in a green valley. Just three steps from my private terrace led to a large, inviting pool surrounded by lush rainforest scenery. The room and facilities were spotlessly clean, which I really appreciated.||The Beach Bar became a highlight of my stay—it was the only bar open and quite popular, especially with many local guests (perhaps because it was a Saturday). Khun Kwan at the bar welcomed everyone with a big smile. She spoke clearly and took each order with care and accuracy.||The sea may not be at its most beautiful during monsoon season, but the rainforest comes alive—fresh, calming, and full of charm. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for peace, nature, and a family-friendly getaway.

My recent stay here was absolutely delightful from start to finish! Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly and make us feel welcome. The Thai food at the resort's restaurant was simply delicious. We were particularly impressed with the marketing team, who were helpful and experienced in organizing our company dinner; their attention to detail made the evening truly memorable. I was happy through out the whole stay !

We stayed here as members of Anantara Vacation Club. It's a new resort a couple of years old. Our family of 5 enjoyed 6 nights here through the new year. We had a beach access 2 bedroom pool suite. It was so comfortable. Huge chaise lounge like couch in the living room, nice big master bathroom. Plenty of space. The beach is right outside and it is beautiful. There's restaurants up and down the beach, the waves were gentle, everything was so nice. The staff, services and food were all top notch.

We arrived here and were instantly immersed in the beautiful natural jungle like surroundings this hotel is set in. The reception staff were very welcoming and make you feel at home as soon as you walk into the pleasant open reception area.||||We had a ground floor Deluxe Swim up room which was lovely and had a welcome made on the bed from Coloured ribbons, which was nice. The room person also noticed it was my wife’s Birthday and made another message on the bed with ribbons and left a small cake with a little candle and a box of matches in the room, which was a lovely little touch.||||Elements restaurant was nice, but excelled in the morning at Breakfast, the variety was unbelievable and caters for everyone. Bonnie, Biw and Benz looked after us most morning and were lovely. ||||We ate at the pool Bar everyday, the Italian Mi Scusi and the food was fantastic, Pizza, pasta’s , Calzone, wraps, toasted sandwiches and great deserts. The Two young lads that work there, I don’t see a name badge on them, but they were great young men and really looked after us. ||||Every evening apart from our first night we ate in the Bech House Restaurant. Again the food in there was Amazing, a variety of Thai dishes, Burgers, pork and chicken dishes, and some lovely soups and appetisers. ||||As with everywhere, the staff in there are attentive, friendly and very welcoming. Ying amongst others really looked after us. ||||The Beach Bar is where it says, down right on the Beach, this is where we spent every evening after dinner looking out over the beach and sea. Aun and Kwan looked after us there and never saw our glasses empty. ||||The only negative, and this is from us personally, is that on some all inclusive packages, House wine, red or white is not included. This is disappointing for us as we don’t really drink many spirits or beer especially with Meals. We’ve never come||Across this on any all inclusive, and maybe something the hotel and the tour operators can look at.||||However this takes nothing away from this fantastic hotel, we liked it so much so that we’re already planning and pricing up for next year. Hopefully some wine will be available then 🤞🤞🤞🤞||

Beautiful hotel with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Our 2-bedroom pool suite was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The beach is stunning and just steps away, and the pools are fantastic with plenty of loungers. Staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Especially loved the vegan and gluten free pizza they make at Mi Scusi - their Italian restaurant! Also very grateful for the flexibility to create vegan options at their thai restaurant - The Beach House. The manager was very helpful, understanding and super friendly! Would definitely come back!

Located by a beautiful sand beach. Many activities for both kids and adults. My son especially loved the mini golf. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming They greeted us warmly and took time to talk, which made us feel even more comfortable. One small things to note is that slippers weren't provided in the room.
