Avani+ Khao Lak Resort

We spent this year's festive the second time in a row at Avani + Khao Lak and our stay was outstanding from the beginning to the end. We were greeted and welcomed warmly by all the staff we already met last year as well as the resort and general managers Jean Marc and Simon! We were assigned our preferred pool villa and were positively surprised that the greenery, landscape and gardens even got more beautiful. Every detail is cared for perfectly and all of the staff are all doing the max one can imagine.|They added a new very nice mini golf course - which can be used complimentary and which is such a nice add-on. But for us the most added value was the designated breakfast are at the beachfront beach house restaurant that was just for villa suite guest. The atmosphere there was really luxurious and the buffet spread was more than one could dream of. They didn't just have a small continental breakfast as some other hotels in this league have - no they have the full spread of cold and hot breakfast there - including live cooking of your favourite likings. The breakfast experience added so so so much value to our stay! Thank you for that, Marc!|Again a big shout out for all of the staff - they (especially during festive) are going above and beyond to make sure their guest have the best relaxing holiday time ever. I didn't write down all of the staff's names that we had daily contact with - but here is a special shoutout to Oak from the Beach House as well as Smile, Nok and everyone working at the beach house and beach bar.|Every other night they had a different themed dinner on the lawn inmidst the palm trees with live music and often a fire show afterwards. All of these evening were really special and the atmosphere was great. Food was exceptionally good. |The New Year's party was outstanding and surpassed the already perfect dinners again. The hotel did a great job and we could easily spend the festive season at Avani Khao Lak year after year!!!

**Highly Recommended Family Hotel in Khao Lak!** This hotel is a fantastic choice for families traveling with kids, offering a delightful farm and dedicated children's pools that keep the little ones entertained. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. While the food is decent, it’s definitely better than what you might find at some other hotels in the area. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, which enhances the overall experience. The beach is pristine and beautiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. There are also various activities available for families, making it easy to fill your days with fun and adventure. One point to consider: during our stay, there was an Indian wedding happening, which brought in a large number of guests and resulted in quite a bit of noise from music on the afternoon of our second day. It was a bit overwhelming and gave me a headache. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience at the hotel was wonderful, making it a great option for a family holiday. We would definitely consider returning!

I recently stayed at Avani+ Khao Lak, and I have to say, the Front Office team truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who was friendly, professional, and efficient. They made check-in a breeze and provided me with all the information I needed about the hotel amenities. What stood out the most was their willingness to go above and beyond. I had a few special requests during my stay, and each time, the Front Office staff handled everything promptly and with a smile. They were always available, attentive, and truly made me feel at home. The team was also great at giving recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, their dedication to guest satisfaction really made my stay memorable. I highly recommend Avani+ Khao Lak to anyone visiting the area, and I’ll definitely be returning, thanks to the excellent service from the Front Office team!

Really nice beach resort with beautiful beach and nice pool suites. But best was the service; so friendly, fast and sincere. Language skills maybe not perfect but attitude magnificent. Just to name a few, Arty, Mew - and Toh; what a positive attitude, skills and ability to see guests’ needs before they even ask something! A true professional! Big thanks also to Anantara Vacation Club, Heidi and Simo, for great arrangements and introduction to AVC, interesting concept!

I had an amazing experience at the beach bar at Avani+ Khao Lak! The atmosphere was perfect with stunning ocean views and a relaxing vibe. Mario, the bartender, was incredibly skilled and crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tasted. His attention to detail and creativity really stood out.||Kwan, our server, provided exceptional service with a warm and friendly attitude, making us feel truly welcomed. She was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening.||If you’re in Khao Lak, this beach bar is a must-visit for a perfect combination of great drinks, excellent service, and a breathtaking setting. Highly recommended!

The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the location is excellent—just a short walk to the local beachfront restaurants (Lomlay Seafood), which is a great bonus for guests who want to explore dining options beyond the hotel’s F&B. The facilities were impressive, especially the kids' room, which was well-equipped and enjoyable. However, there are areas for improvement. The check-in process was quite crowded and didn’t meet the standards expected from a five-star hotel. Additionally, there were no welcome drinks, which would have been a nice touch. The pillows were also too soft for my preference. Overall, a great experience, but with some refinements, it could truly feel like a five-star stay.

My family and friends really enjoyed this place. We had a great time relaxing. The atmosphere was nice, the rooms were comfortable, the food was delicious, and there were activities to do that were quite peaceful. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Our family enjoyed a fabulous stay over the winter holidays at Avani+. Our rooms were spacious, well appointed, and very clean. We had a suite, with two bedrooms and two baths to comfortably accommodate adults and teenage kids. ||The beach, pools, and grounds were stunning, with more to do than we could fit it around diving excursions to the Similan Islands. Maybe the resort was too nice, as we regretted not having more time to relax at the Avani after exhausting days on the dive boats! ||Breakfast buffet was the most expansive and varied of any places we’ve stayed in Thailand; definitely something for every culture and taste. To top it off, New Year’s Eve was wonderful, with big fireworks and floating lanterns filling the sky. We hope to return soon!
