Avani Quy Nhon Resort

If you choose Avani you cannot really go wrong. This place has everything - own private beautiful sand beach, comfortable and clean rooms with a balcony and the ocean view. Very nice swimming pool again with beautiful ocean view and the city of Quy Nhon far away. Lovely bar right next to it. Food is of high quality and one can always find something good whether it's Western or Vietnamese cuisine. And that level and professionalism from service you cannot find in the West. Also not to forget there are great variety of activities like yoga etc. That's one of the best experiences we ever had. Great value for money.

We had our room booked with Junior Suite Sea View, honest speaking the room was fantastic, quite spacious and the bathroom is beautifully designed. There is private beach for in-house guests along with other beach activities that the hotel offers such as kayaking. Warning ⚠️: Don’t forget to bring the insect spray otherwise you will be eaten alive. The breakfast was also good. Please enjoy the pictures taken at the hotel.

Had a great experience at Avani hotel in Quy Nhon. We stayed for 2 days and had the most amazing time. The property is super private and at times we felt like we were the only people on the beach. It was really like heaven on earth. It’s far away from the main city, but we came with the intention of relaxing on the beach, so the proximity didn’t matter to us. And even otherwise, the hotel provides cabs + you can always use the Grab app for cabs. The staff were super helpful and proactive - special thanks to Giang who secretly arranged a cake for my wife’s birthday, to Chi and Mi who served us at our table and helped arrange a special dinner for us, Cuong who helped us with the cab and spa (which was amazing, thank you Trinh and Hue) and last of all, Michael the manager who was always there to listen to and accommodate our requests. Thank you everyone for making our trip special. The only feedback I have in an otherwise phenomenal trip is that we really struggled with a non functioning AC on our first night - even though the AC said 16, 17 or 18 degrees, the room was at 27 degrees. Would request you to ensure the AC is functioning before hand. And once again, special thanks to Giang, Nyong (sorry for spelling it wrong!) and the maintenance folks for addressing our issue at night and ensuring a comfortable stay for us from the second morning on. Special thanks again to Michael for addressing our concerns and making sure we were comfortable. One selfish request I have - please don’t commercialise this place too much because what you have right now is magic in a bottle. Pristine private beaches, excellent rooms, friendly staff and overall a magical experience for us. I will definitely come back here when I visit Quy Nhon next.

Lovely private beach, but be careful of the depth despite the proximity to the shore. The staffs were helpful and caring enough. We felt safe and well-cared. Food were great, we got a semi-buffet for breakfast (few options but taste so good), and a delicious big portion 3-coures set-menu included in the roomrate. Room or other facilities like swimming pool is getting old, but they’re well-maintained. Just sadly my room’s view was blocked by a tree right in front of it. And eventhough the Avani is sharing the 24h gymnastic room with their sister brand Anantara, but it could be a disapointment if you were a gymholic as the facility is too simple. Overall, it has a lovely position. Service is acceptable compared to the money, but not really an outstanding one.

Good parts: 1. Very quiet and relax atmosphere. Suitable for a relaxing holiday. 2. The beach area in front of the resort is amazing. Super clear water. You can easily see fishes in the ocean. 3. Water refill station is amazing. 4. They even have a Nintendo Switch in kids' club, which was amazing for our family's fun time together. 5. A not too big but good breakfast buffet with Vietnamese and common international dishes. Some notes for small details that the team can do better. No critism at all. 1. The hotel info in my Deluxe Room was noted for Junior Suite. 2. There was no In-room Dining menu in my room. Not sure if the hotel intentionally do it or it should have been included. 3. Pool towels were not countinously checked for placing new ones after guests left. 4. The pen set up in my room did not work. 5. Should the hotel consider not replacing the toothbrushes everyday when cleaning the room to reduce waste?

The first time I heard about Avani was last year when I stayed at a different hotel and visited Anantara for dinner at the Sea Fire Salt restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The staff at Anantara were fantastic and made our dinner experience truly unforgettable. During that evening, they mentioned Avani as their sister resort, which sparked our interest. This year we decided to come back and stay at Avani for five nights. You can spot a bit of wear and tear here and there but the wooden furniture in our room is in excellent condition - clearly made from good quality wood and well taken care of. It really shows how much the resort values maintenance and longevity. I learned from the staff that the resort is about 20 years old, which explains the minor signs of time, but it also makes me appreciate it even more. Despite the years, Avani still stands strong, offering wonderful service and a great stay experience at a very reasonable price. Breakfast is delicious and generous - my husband especially enjoys the Bò Né, Phở, cà phê sữa đá, and Bánh Xèo. We booked a half-board package with dinner included, and it turned out to be incredible value for money. The beach is beautiful, clean, quiet, and peaceful - just perfect for the kind of relaxing holiday we wanted this time. Throughout our stay, we noticed how hard the Avani staff work. There aren’t many staff members visible per shift, yet everything runs smoothly and efficiently, and we never had to wait long for anything. Their dedication and teamwork are truly commendable, and we sincerely hope the management recognizes their efforts as well. We always make sure to leave a tip as a small token of our appreciation. It’s not an obligation, but a genuine pleasure to do so. Please keep up the great work in maintaining and protecting the pristine beach. Avani is a gem, and having Anantara right next door adds convenience and more dining and bar options - we love stopping by Anantara for a cocktail or lunch. In fact, we’re even considering staying there next time we come back. Thank you, Avani team, for your warm hospitality and hard work. We truly appreciate it 🩵

High recommend!! Good choice for relaxing and take a peaceful moment. Good view and Super nice beach. Room is quite large and comfortable. Nice and friendlfy staff. Come back for sure.

Absolutely loved our stay! The front beach view and the swimming pool were stunning — we spent most of our time enjoying both. The spa and sauna were top-notch; I’ve never experienced such tranquillity in a spa anywhere else in Australia. AVANI shares facilities with Anantara, so we had access to their luxurious swimming pool and high-end spa as well. We also enjoyed complimentary boxing lessons with Thắng — a great touch! Overall, a very relaxing and well-rounded experience. The price definitely reflects the quality of the services. Highly recommended!
