Avani+ Samui Resort

I had a fantastic stay at Avani+ Samui Resort. The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful, but still close to beautiful beaches like Bang Po. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel special. The room was spacious and comfortable, and having a private plunge pool in the Pool Villa was a real treat. I spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the views and the lush surroundings. The food was excellent too, especially breakfast with a great mix of local and international options. The resort’s main pool was massive and the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxing getaway with great service, amazing food, and a chilled vibe. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to relax in Koh Samui!

We got married at this resort and it was amazing. The team who helped us plan our wedding were incredible. The staff who served us were always so nice and I think genuinely wanted us to have a nice time. The beach is perfect for a wedding because we didn’t have anyone wonder into our wedding. Our two bedroom suite was beautiful. We used the resort babysitting service and the baby sitter was so nice and really looked after our son like her own. The food was good and the cocktails nice. There is nothing we didn’t like. We will return one day and spend more time relaxing at this beautiful resort.

Charming resort, but not quite luxurious. Avani+ Samui Resort Thailand is a lovely property with excellent amenities, delicious dining options, and exceptional service. The rooms are cozy, and the resort's facilities, such as the pool and fitness center, are well-maintained. However, considering the 'luxury' label, we expected a more upscale and sophisticated atmosphere. The property feels somewhat small and intimate, which, while charming, doesn't quite live up to our luxury expectations. Some areas, like the lobby and public spaces, could benefit from a more refined and elegant design. Overall, Avani+ Samui Resort is a great choice for those seeking a relaxed and comfortable stay, but if you're looking for an ultra-luxurious experience, you might want to consider other options.

Rooms - large and clean. A little dated but cleaning staff do a great job. Location - outside the hustle and bustle, relaxed and enjoyable. I'd say family friendly. Service - Robin at the tiki bar is amazing, great person and very helpful. He has made my trip. English is good and he goes the extra mile to help and accommodate your needs. 5 stars for Robin! Spa - Beautiful spa run by Hatairat, she should run the whole hotel! Perfect English, beautiful and knows how to find out what the guests needs are. Relaxing, clean and perfect service by Faa (new enployee). She hit all the right spots and provided a professional massage. I loved it! Reception - English could do with some work (maybe promote Hatairat to manger) but tried hard. Friendly, some extra training would be great. Overall - great experience, i would recommend this place to stay and would come back. Robin and Hatairat were amazing and these two people can made a big difference in my stay, thank you.

Located in a very secluded location. Very quiet and basically I got very bored here until joined the movie night. You definitely need a scooter to move around here. Else, good luck. Beach was located next to mangrove swamp, so the water is always low tide and you can walk very far out into the sea during my stay here.

We stayed in the beachfront pool villa, which was spacious and beautifully designed with a well-thought-out layout and modern décor. The villa featured a cozy daybed, perfect for relaxing, and had a wonderful atmosphere. The hotel is located right on the beach, with a sandy shoreline ideal for a peaceful walk. Dinner at the seaside restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was excellent. The recreation staff was superb—we truly enjoyed all the activities, especially the stunning morning walk. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a week stay at Avani, unfortunately most it was days filled with rain so this may have a negative impact on my review. The 2 bed beachfront villa was lovely and suited our family. It's very spacious and very relaxing. The restaurant was a bit slow with bringing out meals but we enjoyed our meals nevertheless. The staff are lovely, were very kind and interacted with my daughter which was enjoyable to see. However this is a small hotel in a very rural area so if it's raining there really isn't anything to do and you do need a taxi to go anywhere else. I would also say that the beach is not nice at all. It's a small port for the local community so there's a lot of boat pollution and in the morning they all run their engines. You can not sit on the beach and enjoy the views. You need to walk further along the beach to be able to swim without being in polluted water. so we couldn't really take our daughter in. Perhaps when the weather is better they might move on but it was very unpleasant and because of that I think the price point is far too high. If they were able to improve this then I really think it would be such a enjoyable relaxing stay.

From the moment we arrived, Stephan and the entire team went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The hospitality was outstanding, from the warm and attentive housekeeping staff to the restaurant team, including the chef, who created truly unique and delicious dishes. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay unforgettable. This resort holds a special place in our hearts, and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend for an exceptional experience!
