Avani Victoria Falls Resort

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The staff were all amazing, friendly, and helpful. The property itself is very well maintained. Breakfast and dinner have many options to choose from, and everything I ate was delicious! I stayed at the property for a week and seeing zebras, giraffes, monkeys, and impalas almost daily was such a sight to see. Very easy access to the falls, and a short distance to walk to the Zimbabwe side. I definitely recommend this hotel!!

For it being a "4 star" hotel it does not reflect that status. And for it attempting to be more family oriented/kid friendly it feels more of a party resort and very outdated and dingy. Seeing names of cocktails that are sexually named is very distasteful "bang in gorge" "screem orgasm" etc. I also, had nothing but issues since prior to arrival. It was extremely difficult to attempt to arrange transfer from the airport and communicate with the hotel directly itself in general. Overall, I was extremely disappointed and had higher hopes for the stay. The positives noted: the staff are friendly, the resort includes free access to the falls and it is only a few minute walk to it, there are animals walking the resort grounds, the rooms are very nice and well kept and there is a free shuttle to the Royal that is also on the same grounds and definitely worth a visit.

Excellent and easy booking in, very helpful staff. You have free access to the Victoria fall with your booking. Falls within walking distance from Hotel. Excellent meals in the restaurant and good pricing. You can even have a drink with the free roaming Zebras within the hotel complex, watch out for the monkeys they like to pinch your food, but there are lots of security keeping the monkeys at bay. A very enjoyably stay and highly recommend to stay there.

Beautiful resort with the best location right next to the Victoria Falls entrance. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast has a great variety. Loved the wildlife walking around the property – felt like a true African experience. Highly recommended if you want convenience, comfort, and nature all in one place.

This place has so much to offer. The location can’t be beat. We walked to the falls and Zimbabwe from here. Super convenient. The breakfast is amazing and has everything you can imagine. The rooms are lovely and the staff is incredible. Saw zebras, giraffes, monkeys, and impalas just outside our room. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort. The location is its strongest selling point, offering amazing access to the Falls. The service was prompt and polite throughout our stay, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. A top-notch hotel experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very accomodating and able to help us with our transport, activities, laundry, money changing - whatever we needed. Breakfast is a fabulous hot and cold buffet which we looked forward to every morning! The dinner/lunch menu could be more extensive - but perhaps this is because we stayed 7 nights and did have a few meals at the resort. The room was average size, and we were lucky enough to stay on the first level, which meant we had a balcony. We were also at the back of the resort overlooking the grounds, which meant giraffes were literally off our balcony - rather than the inner rooms which overlook the pool are and are a lot less private. Access to the falls is literally at the back of the resort, so excellent location.
