Four months ago, we joined Avant after our usual gym closed, and today was our last day here — so it feels like the right moment to share a little appreciation.
First highlight: the design. This place truly stands out. It somehow manages to feel both high-performance and deeply relaxing at the same time — not an easy combo to pull off, but they’ve nailed it. The space really motivates you to move… and then breathe.
Second highlight: the staff. Always professional, welcoming, and proactive. You can tell they genuinely care about making your daily experience enjoyable. That energy makes a difference.
And of course, the group classes. I tried almost all of them, but the functional/high-intensity training (L3) was my personal favorite. Challenging, dynamic, and always well run.
If I had to suggest a couple areas for improvement: the changeroom feels a bit tight compared to the spacious feel of the rest of the gym. When a few people are changing at once, it can get tricky. Also, while most members were friendly and easy to engage with, there was occasionally a tendency to leave towels, cups, or small bits of trash around — which feels slightly at odds with the otherwise harmonious design and adds extra work for the staff.
Overall, we had a great experience here and are grateful for these past months. Wishing the Avant team continued success — and lots of sweaty, happy members ahead! 💪
