Avantgarde Refined Hotel | Yalıkavak

I booked a Sea View Suite for nearly €900 a night, expecting at least a basic level of comfort. Instead, I spent four nights with no air conditioning in the middle of summer. We reported it daily, and the staff repeatedly claimed it was fixed , it absolutely wasn’t. It wasn’t until day 5 that a manager finally stepped in, and even then, the AC still didn’t work properly. The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn’t move rooms or get a refund to book elsewhere. We were forced to stay in an overheated, uncomfortable room for nearly our entire stay. Totally unacceptable. As if that weren’t enough, the hotel is incredibly noisy. There’s no sound isolation ,every morning we were woken up by kids screaming, vacuuming, or people shouting. Not exactly the restful experience you’d expect from a luxury hotel. For the price we paid, this hotel was a nightmare. Poor service, unprofessional handling of a major issue, and zero accountability. I would never return and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. Every interaction felt genuine, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout my stay. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a relaxing and memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning—and recommending this place to friends and family!

We spent a Bach day at the Avantgarde Hotel Yalikavak and had a truly fabulous time. There is a lovely vibe in every part of the beachside. Sitting on the jetty was so relaxing and the sea swimming fabulous. The staff could not have been more attentive and catered to all our needs. The food was well presented and delicious. I hope to return again for another lovely day.

Dear Ms. Jihane, Thank you for your recent response. However, I must clarify a few critical points, as your message does not reflect the reality of our experience. First and foremost, you were not present at the hotel during the majority of our stay. Your absence throughout most of our visit means you were not directly aware of the discomfort we endured, nor were the issues we faced ever properly communicated to you in a timely or professional manner. When we finally met on the last day, your comments — including the suggestion that you personally sleep with towels from the freezer — were dismissive and delivered in both Arabic and English, almost as if to imply we wouldn’t fully understand otherwise. This approach was both unprofessional and inappropriate. It’s time to acknowledge the truth: your hotel suffers from a serious and ongoing air conditioning problem that affected the entire property. Rather than taking responsibility, you failed to address this fundamental issue with any real solution or compensation. To clarify, we never demanded a full refund. A partial refund would have been a fair and reasonable gesture — enough to allow us the option to move to a property that values guest comfort and delivers the standard of luxury it promises. Instead, you offered to waive a mere €100 in food and beverage charges — a token amount in comparison to the excessive nightly rate of nearly €1,000 for a suite I wouldn’t value at more than €200 given the actual experience. I do not and will not recommend this hotel to any traveler seeking a true luxury experience. As someone who lives in Dubai, hotels abroad fail to amaze me. This hotel however was unforgettable in the best way. Rooms are clean and modern, beds are SO comfortable, and hotel amenities are stunning!! You have your own private beach which is wonderful. Clear and waters and beautiful views. Breakfast was also wholesome, they either had buffet or bring Turkish breakfast to your table. The staff was wonderful. They are so helpful and so generous💗 The location is good, it’s a short ride to Yalikavak marina. Taxis are expensive in bodrum so it’s also not so far from the bus station that can take you to the main souq in bodrum. I would highly recommend this hotel, and definitely returning back 💗 Also do not miss out on the cookies in the lobby🫶🏻 🍪

It’s a true peace of paradise. Amazing place with incredible hospitality 💕 coming after long business trip, my fatigue dissipated immediately after entering the hotel. You are immediately greeted with incredible hospitality and warmth! The room was very beautiful, stylish and super cozy, and the view from the room is the endlessly beautiful. The service is excellent, all the staff are very friendly, smiling and willing to make your holidays as much great as possible.
