I booked a Sea View Suite for nearly €900 a night, expecting at least a basic level of comfort. Instead, I spent four nights with no air conditioning in the middle of summer. We reported it daily, and the staff repeatedly claimed it was fixed , it absolutely wasn’t. It wasn’t until day 5 that a manager finally stepped in, and even then, the AC still didn’t work properly.
The hotel was fully booked, so we couldn’t move rooms or get a refund to book elsewhere. We were forced to stay in an overheated, uncomfortable room for nearly our entire stay. Totally unacceptable.
As if that weren’t enough, the hotel is incredibly noisy. There’s no sound isolation ,every morning we were woken up by kids screaming, vacuuming, or people shouting. Not exactly the restful experience you’d expect from a luxury hotel.
For the price we paid, this hotel was a nightmare. Poor service, unprofessional handling of a major issue, and zero accountability. I would never return and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
