Avanti Hotel Saigon

Everything is good for this hotel. The price is value for money, the location is spot on, the rooms are clean and adequate, the staff are responsive. Do note that the hotel is on level 2, so you will need to climb a flight of stairs whenever you go out/return. However, the owner of the hotel has a strict rule of controlling extra items which guests may request. We requested for an extra pillow each (there's only one per person in the room) and the reception told us the entire hotel ran out of extra pillow for our first night. We are folks who faced difficulties in sleeping with just one pillow!! So the next day, we repeated our request and the reception told us that there is a ONE extra pillow per room policy even if there are two guests in the room. Just ONE extra pillow! We offered to pay for an extra pillow beyond the quota but were mercilessly rejected. Just folks like me and my friend who were used to sleeping with at least 2 pillows every night at home, the rest of the stay is nothing near home .. nearer to Hell perhaps. Luckily, we did figure our way out. Due to this rigid unfriendly hotel policy, we are unlikely to stay again. That's just us, folks who cannot fall asleep with just one pillow, perhaps it won't affect most of you. Hence, I only removed one star out of the maximum attainable. Thank you for reading.

( I stay 3 nights ) Before check in, I request 1 extra chair (Message replied, hotel will try their best) and then reach hotel, they mentioned hotel policy only 1 chair in room cannot request Extra. ( my room type is 4 people family room, but 1 chair ) Other then that, Location Excellent, Breakfast style are very good; no question., but looks everyday are same style. All Staffs are nice, gentle and helpful Room clean and excellent.

Great value for a decent room. Convenient location. Most friendly staff you will find in Vietnam. I stay here everytime I come to HCMC. (1 time per month).

This hotel is perfectly located in the old city centre. All popular sites are in a short distance. There are lots of cafes and shops near it. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds, tea-coffee making facilities, slippers, free Wi-Fi. Stuff is friendly and really helpful. Breakfasts: good choice of meals, drinks, fruit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers who looking for central location.

Great location. Just across the famous Benh Thanh Market. Hotel is also next to restaurants and massage parlors. Room is small but functional and clean. No view. Staff hardly speak English. Bellhop very helpful and speaks better English than Front Desk staff. Money changer is the same as the Tour operator which makes it very convenient. They should clean the street entrance. Staircase leads to lobby. No elevators from street to lobby.

Comfortable deluxe room. View to Ben Thanh market. However, the room has a low light ambiance so if you must work on laptop at night you should turn on desk lamp. Location in center, District 1 HCM city so it's easy to commute and walk to other sightseeings. Have breakfast.

Hotel is very neat! Breakfast buffet at SingSing at the hotel was also good, but I’m more impressed by the attentiveness and hospitality of Mr. Son! Keep up the good work! Looks like I will be staying in this hotel again.

Very nice location. Few steps to Ben Thanh market. Nice room with beautiful view. The receptionists and staff were so helpful and friendly. There is a new tourdesk at the lobby. Amy was so lovely. She introduced us the nice places to walk and shopping around even we did not book any tours. |Highly recommended this hotel
