Find Mulita Perfection at These 9 Los Angeles Spots | Eater LA

"Just keep an eye/ear out for the the bright lights, long lines, and loud music at the Ave 26 taco stand. Tucked away in both Eagle Rock and Little Tokyo, the scene is like a festive party. The selections for mulitas stands out because of the pounds of al pastor on a spit. If ordering the massive stacked mulitas, bring someone to share it with." - Mona Holmes

City of LA Shuts Down Avenue 26 Market in Lincoln Heights - Eater LA

"Avenue 26 Tacos is a longstanding Mexican food stand that has become a staple of the Artesian Street food scene for over ten years. Known for its role in the Avenue 26 Night Market, the stand has expanded to a standalone restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles and operates a food truck in the Eagle Rock area." - Farley Elliott

THE best late night tacos (post-concert) in LA. The address is for a different location. The iconic location is at an alley on Humboldt. 241 W Ave 26.

Went on cinco de mayo where they had $1 tacos like the good old days. Their pastor isn’t great and their asada is solid but their best is honestly their chorizo and buche

Tacos are good. The only problem I see, and I am commenting here to make business better--is that you have a rat infestation problem. There has been several occasions in which I go to get tacos and there are rats on the bushes. They would not be there if you clean after business. I am all for street tacos, but you need to clean. The sidewalk is greasy and looks duty. It would be a good idea to hire someone to pressure wash the sidewalk regularly. My guess is that all the meat that falls to the floor. When you leave is swept to the bushes hence the rat problem.

Always great to get tacos late at night. Ave 26 never disappoints. I only get el pastor. No place to sit down though so you gotta find your own spots. More spacious that the one in LA because not many people come here. This place is CASH only.

This place has some of the best street tacos in all of LA! I miss their Lincoln Heights location since they were shut down and decided to try them in Eagle Rock. I got four Asada and four Pastor tacos and they were just as delicious and flavorful as back in the day. They cost $1.75 each now which is a bummer but understandable with the current inflation and supply issues. Located next to Vons off of Neola St and they accept card or cash for payment.

Came here because the taco place on Ave 52 used to be so bomb! But, it wasn't as busy I arrived. I ordered al pastor tacos and asada. But it wasn't until I got to the toppings table, where ur supposed to add the onion and cilantro, I saw the taco man filling up the lemons, and I asked him where his cilantro and onion was and he said he had to chop it up. I was with my husband and so I could wait for the guy to chop up onion and so I told my husband if he could wait for the guy to chop it up and he(taco guy) cut me off and said they don't have any at all. I literally saw them chopping onions and cilantro for some lady's burrito order. I was so disappointed. This was not tacos! This was meat on a tortilla!... xp I'll have to pass as there are better taco stands out there. Service is sad.. food looks sad. Theres a void. Taco is life!

Great Tacos, and great environment. Clear sign helps if you’re new to Tacos and service with a smile. A great kick to the meat leaving a lasting flavor. Make sure you get at least one chorizo taco! Loads of parking in Vons and usually a great soundtrack as well.

Made the trek out to eagle rock for these tacos and they did not disappoint. I'm from south Texas and picky about my tacos, but these were great. Lots of parking!
