It's a comfortable hotel, but certainly not 5 star as they suggest. I do have reasons for this and it mostly pertains to room service , room decor and customer interactions. |Room service was interesting - it was carried up on a tray and had several disposable containers which held gravy, honey and small amount of yoghurt. I ordered room service 4 times, and each time it came with these plastic disposables. Food was also covered in aluminium foil or plastic instead of cloche. A 5 star hotel would never do this. Breakfast one day was sourdough and fruit with yoghurt and honey - but no condiments for the toast, just butter. The steak|was very well done, instead of medium. I did not have the energy to return it given it was a very long day. The staff taking the room service steak order initially said vegetables was not an option despite it being an option on the menu. (menu says vegetables or chips and salad no extra charges). After explaining what it said on the menu, she asked for clarification from kitchen and yes it was an option without charge. Lucky I persisted and she was fairly adamant there would be an additional charge. |I had breakfast in the restaurant around 9am and it all looked very sad and hadn't been refreshed. Sausages and scrambled eggs were dried and shriveled. Fresh fruit was scarce and an overall disappointment. They charge extra for Barista coffee to. Seriously, go to one of the local cafes and get fresh and interesting food. |The decor in the one bedroom is basic, and has no warmth. It feels quite sterile, however the bonus is there is plenty of room. ||Check in and out was ok, with little orientation on the hotel concerning facilities, meals etc. It would be nice if they addressed you as Mrs X as most 5 star hotels would.||Now for the positives|- great location in the city surrounded by restaurants and walking distance to the major city shopping centre|- light rail and buses within minutes|- free parking |- EV charger on site|- very comfortable beds, if you like very soft cloudy beds|- full size fridge in one bedroom along with washing machine|- the one bedder can take a sofa lounge at a cost of $50 per night. |- walk through the hotel for easy access to Mort st ||We would stay again.|For those wondering, I would say rooms are comparable to Quest/ Meriton apartments not a 5 star hotel
