Avenue Hotel

The Avenue Hotel had been arranged for us as part of our package for the Grand Prix at Monza. We arrived early in the morning and were given an extremely warm welcome, our rooms were not quite ready but we were able to sit outside for a coffee and decided to have a breakfast. This was delicious, the service was excellent. Both ours and our friends' rooms were on the ground floor which were spacious, our room was an accessible room and although we did not need this, it was fine. Everything was spotlessly clean, plenty of towels, toiletries were supplied. There was tea and coffee making facilities as well. We had breakfast each morning and there is a great selection of fresh croissants, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals and hot choice available. The hot breakfast is cooked to order and were very good. The location is excellent, a short walk through the town to the lake where there are boat excursions and also a short walk to the Funicular railway. An ideal location. However what was outstanding is the hospitality shown to us from the minute we arrived until we left, it was incredible, all staff were so friendly, very helpful and we could not fault them in any way. Valentina was particularly helpful to us and again her interpersonal skills with everyone was fantastic. We would definitely return and highly recommend this little gem in Como. thank you to everyone there who made our stay so enjoyable .

Had a lovely week staying at this Hotel. Had a deluxe double which, although bijou had everything we needed. Spotless all round and extremely comfortable bed. Staff were exceedingly helpful, polite and caring. Breakfast was superb, plenty of selection of both hot and cold options. Would highly recommend. Tip; If you are staying here for the F1 ask about their superb packed lunches!

This Boutique Como Italy hotel was a delivery! It was conveniently located near all the activity near the lake. The room was modern, wonderfully decorated and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately we had mainly weather the 2 days we stayed and was not able to enjoy the lake. The hotel staff kept us updated on current weather and boat availability. For our milestone anniversary Liliana went out of her way to make the event special and memorable. Lilian was delightful, as a polyglot, she is an asset to the hotel. My husband and I would recommend The Avenue highly

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel in Como. ||We stayed in a junior suite - it had a nice sized bed and bathroom with a desk suitable for some work. The Bistro has a nice breakfast and a lovely food and drinking crowd throughout the day. ||It’s a very good location. Just a few blocks from the lake and the bustling Volta square area, Quiet but easy access to everything. ||The staff is magnificent. Incredibly friendly and helpful with all things Como. Transportation, tours, walking directions - they helped with everything. ||Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Avenue for 10 days. The location is perfect for everything Como has to offer. Its situated centrally so easy walking access to shops, restaurants, the lake and all the train stations. The hotel team always smiled and were welcoming. Every query or request was handled perfectly. We had a small double room as we dont need much space but the amenities were excellent. We used the laundry service as we'd been travelling prior to Como and were very happy with it. The breakfasts in the Bistro were great and the restaurant in the outside courtyard has about 20 tables and was always busy with tourists and locals as the food is good. We are happy we booked here and will be back. Thank you.

This hotel was booked for us via an agency and we could not have been happier. I am hard pressed to offer a 5 start to any review so it is a testament in service and experience rounding up to a 5. The rooms are effectively modern while maintaining some of the original rustic charm. Bedding was the best of all hotels during a journey through northern Italy. Staff members were amazing, friendly and had much insight to offer about the local area. Rooms were stocked with high end amenities and toiletries, enough so my wife has ordered from the brand. Rooms and bathrooms are absolutely functional and privacy is top notch. It didn't seem to matter what time we returned to the room for a daily break, it was cleaned and made up before we returned, every day. The attached cafe' presents what I would qualify as the BEST inclusive breakfast I have had the pleasure of partaking in. Cafe' staff always took time to assist, explain or suggest breakfast options. I have been a Hilton customer for three decades. Had I made reservations myself I would have no doubt booked the Como Hilton and in doing so, would have destroyed the chance to experience what I found to be the most charming, well located, professionally run hotel in Como. Had I booked the Hilton I would have had a long walk or taxi ride to experience what Avenue Hotel offers just outside of the doors.

We booked this hotel almost completely for our guests who were attending our wedding and spend two days here ourserelves as well. Cant thank enough Roberta for solving all our issues including making reservation at one of the best bars in Como for our entire small army of guests. Breakfasts are a must - location is so quite and cozy. For next visits to Como definetly gonna choose this hotel!

My experience at this hotel was AH-MAZING. I stayed here 12 years ago during my first visit to Como and let me tell you, the second time did not disappoint. This was more than a hotel, it was an experience. Valentina was fabulous and Debora did a great job coordinating many details. Thank you to the entire staff for delivering beyond my expectations.
