AVIANO Boutiquehotel

We stayed in one of the large suites (3 adults) and the room was beautiful and roomy. The bathroom and shower were nice, the beds comfortable and we had a nice view of the plaza. Aviano is in a good location and they have the top two floors of the building. Breakfast was good and the young man was so friendly and helpful. If we return, we will stay here again. As with most hotels in Europe, the lift is small so if that bothers you then be willing to walk up 5-6 floors. We really enjoyed this hotel and everyone we met was helpful.

Affordable, clean, and perfect location. You can walk to everything or use the very close by public transport. The staff was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is available with hot and cold options. (Coffee, juices, yogurt, granola, cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, breads, eggs, sausage, cold cuts and cheeses, plus assortment of fresh and pickled veggies.) Billa market with every kind of meat, cheese, fresh produce, regional treats, wine, beer, soda as well as hot and cold buffet is just 2 blocks away.) All of the following are within 5-10 walk: St Stephen's, Hofburg, State Opera, Karlskirche, State Library, plus great Austrian restaurants like Figlmuller, Purstner, and Bretzl Gwolb. Very pedestrian friendly area. Hotel has a secured entry and lift however you must go up 6 steps from steet level to access lift once inside. Steps are only a 6 inch rise.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Aviano Hotel in Vienna, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! The entire staff was warm, professional, and attentive, but I must give special praise to Sofia, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our family’s comfort. From seamlessly handling multiple requests to addressing unexpected needs with grace and efficiency, Sofia’s kindness and dedication made our experience unforgettable. The hotel itself is charming, perfectly located, and impeccably maintained, but it’s the exceptional care from staff like Sofia that sets it apart. Thank you for making our family trip so special!

Spent nearly a week there with my family during a business trip. A little hotel, occupying two levels of the building. It's just a few meters on the side of Kartnerstrasse. The location was perfect. The room was large and clean. The AC was good, a view from a window was nice, and it wasn't noisy. The staff was friendly and responsive to my weird invoice queries - thanks! The breakfast was good but repetitive - every day was the same. However, my son ate quite a bit every morning, so I won't complain. It was funny to have a reception desk at the highest level (don't worry, there's an elevator),but it brought some novelty to the boring reality of front desks always being at the ground level. There are two options to park your car in a nearby garage - not cheap, but the hotel offers a discount on a rate. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend it if you want to be in a centre, prefer quieter surroundings, and want a change from a chain hotels.

The Aviano is a wonderful small hotel. Our room was spotlessly prepared, the bed was comfortable, there was room to stretch out, and it was quiet. The bathroom was roomy and the hot water was plentiful. The breakfast buffet was very good. Best of all, the staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The hotel is family-owned, and the staff welcomed us as part of the family. Very nice!

What a gem of a hotel! It’s close to everything…just off the Kartnerstrasse it’s a perfect location! Close to Opera, Metro, St. Stephen’s, Sisi Palace! Rooms were so beautiful and hotel staff was very helpful! Loved my stay!||Sonia the manager was incredibly helpful and always friendly no matter how busy she was! Rest of staff was always friendly and helpful! ||Breakfasts were nice with beautiful daily yogurt parfaits, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and warm sausages in addition to the typical breakfast food. They rotated various breads so it wasn’t exactly the same every day. The breads in the basket are brought put warm.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this hotel absolutely deserved a 5-star shoutout. The location is incredible—right in the middle of everything, which made exploring super easy. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and really comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day out. The staff was honestly one of the highlights—so friendly and genuinely helpful. You could tell they cared and really went the extra mile to make our stay great. Breakfast was a nice bonus—simple, fresh, and just what we needed to start the day. All in all, a fantastic experience. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was very clean, the staff is great, and location was excellent. It was easy walk to the underground and trams. We stayed for 4 nights and We have nothing to complain about. We enjoyed talking with the staff and they gave us some great recommendations. The laundry service available was a great addition.
