Aviano - Boutique hotel

Our friends stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Kärntner Straße in the 1st district, making it ideal for exploring the city. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, providing outstanding hospitality. The hotel itself has a unique and charming style, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, ensuring a relaxing stay. The breakfast is delicious, offering a great selection of fresh and high-quality products. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable stay in Vienna.

This is probably my 12th or 13th stay at the Aviano. I was not sure the AVIANO could get any better, but this year was different. There are many positive changes that have improved the Aviano. ||Under new leadership, the Aviano has been renovated. The first thing I noticed when I arrived at the reception desk was how bright the area is. The fresh pain has really brightened up the entire hotel. From the rooms, to the Hallways, to the Breakfast room, the fresh pain has really brightened up the space. ||The Breakfast room has been remolded. The old banquette style seating was removed and replaced with new chairs. The assortment of breakfast items remains amazing. I enjoyed a croissant, scrambled eggs, and small sausages each morning. ||Room 413 has been fully renovated. They replaced the old mattress with a new, thicker, more supportive mattress. The old chairs have been replaced with new. The fold-out couch is gone and new couch is in its place. The new fold-out coach is a lot more comfortable than the old one. New carpet and curtains complete the look. ||The best part of the renovation is the bathroom. First, the 2 inch step into he bathroom is gone. A new shower has been installed replacing the old shower that you had to step up about 12 inches into. This was a he safety risk that has now been mitigated. The bathroom also has a newly located toilet and sink. The water pressure is great and the water is HOT!||Along with Sonja, there are 2 new staff members who were so helpful. I can't say enough good things about the staff and the renovation.

Aviano Boutique Hotel in Vienna offers a charming and cozy stay, with clean and comfortable rooms that make you feel at home. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, and the two lovely ladies managing the property are incredibly helpful and attentive, always going out of their way to assist. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, though the entrance can be a bit tricky to find as it's tucked away after a bar, and you need to ring the bell to access the top-floor reception. The rooms are located one floor below the reception. For a quieter stay, I recommend choosing a room facing the inner garden, as the street-facing rooms can be a bit noisy due to the lively pedestrian area. Note that the reception isn’t open 24/7, so you’ll need to inform them in advance if you’re arriving outside regular hours. Overall, it's a pleasant place to stay with a great central location.

Perfect location with the city, really pretty building & nice people @ front desk! To me it's not a boutique hotel due to it's old fashion & cheap style within the room and hotel location on high 4th floor. Although I can recommend this venue for to 2 nights stay in Vienna.

We stayed here a week in September. Excellent location in Old Town, beautiful building and rooms overlooking Neure Markt plaza. The staff, Alexandra and Caterina, were friendly and extremely helpful.

Let's start from the staff. The lady in the reception is very kind, helpful and polite, i could say that she's very good at welcoming the guests and making them feel at home. Rooms are spacious and very warm, big and quiet. Comfortable beds, and you can handle the heating by yourself, as you want. Perfect location to explore the city. Breakfast under payment as an extra. I was glad to see and confirmed that during my stay they started some renovations in some of the rooms, about equipment, etc. I was happily surprised overall and will be back again when visiting Vienna.

10.11.23 reserved room for 30.5.24 - 3.6.24||The hotel posted on the website (unbeknownst to us) that it was closed for renovations from 15.2.24 - 31.5.24. If we were informed of this closure we could have easily made alternative hotel reservations.||28.5.24 We were informed that Hotel Aviano would be unable to provide accommodation due to construction, however you did offer to find an alternative hotel without a guarantee and suggested we could find our own hotel. Two days before arrival!||29.5.24 Arrival scheduled for the following day, as we were feeling time pressure, and no confirmed hotel we booked a room at Hotel Zur Wiener Staatsoper.  Your staff contacted us later in the day with an alternative but we had already gone ahead with the booking - again as we felt we needed to have something in place. ||We asked for Hotel Aviano to cover the higher cost of the day before room booking and were refused. Draw your own conclusions as to whom you want to deal with.

What a welcoming place to stay this was! The hotel is in a perfect location as most sights are walkable and public transportation is close by. Our room  (302) was decorated so prettily and the mattress was like sleeping on a cloud. Staff was lovely and helpful and prepared delicious breakfast choices for the buffet each morning. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. ||
