Avillion Admiral Cove

I stayed at Avillion Admiral Cove recently and would like to share my experience as constructive feedback for the hotel’s improvement. I believe this hotel has potential, but several issues affected my stay. 1. The front desk staff were not welcoming during check-in, which created a poor first impression. 2. There was no WiFi available in my room, and I was informed that the whole building was facing WiFi issues. THIS IS A VERY BIG ISSUE!!! 3. Upon checking in, I found that the shower gel was almost empty, which should have been topped up before new guests arrive. 4. The water bidet was broken and the sink was clogged. I appreciate that the maintenance team responded promptly—thank you for that. 5. Unfortunately, the receptionist who answered my call was very rude. She ended the call abruptly while I was still explaining the issue, with no courtesy, no “thank you,” and no proper closing. This is unacceptable for customer service and left a very bad impression. I hope the management takes these points seriously, as the customer experience can be greatly improved with better staff training, room preparation, and facility maintenance.

We have been to PD probably more than five times but this was our first at Avillion Admiral cove. It was the school holiday weekend so the check in queue was long but the front desk staff were doing the best they can to minimise our waiting time. They placed us on level 8 with a gorgeous view of the cove and the Malaccan straits. The room was quiet, comfortable and spacious containing a modern bathroom with a hot water shower and superb pressure. However there may be a leak as the toilet area seems to be regularly damp. We also really appreciate having a sink at the pantry area meaning we did not need to use the bathroom sink for simple things like washing hands or boiling water. Wifi was maybe slower than average and with usually a max limit of 3 devices. During public holidays, it was not easy after 800am to find a table/seat at the breakfast cafe so maybe best to get there before 730. We tried mainly Asian dishes such as nasi lemak, pratha and porridge but they do also have omelette and some western dishes. The items were not too bad but a bit steep for rm38 in my opinion. Facilities include the adult pool and kiddie pool and a small gym. The public beach was about a 3min walk away but for restaurants or convenient stores, it was better to drive rather than walk out more than 15mins. Some of the public spaces here may contain a damp smell which may need improvement such as the lift area. Other than that, I believe the main selling point here was the absolutely gorgeous view of the sea, the marina and the cool nightly sea breeze. Furthermore, the staff here were informative, patient and helpful. We can't wait to come back again.

Interior design of the hotel room is weird, seram and uncomfortable to stay though it’s spacious. TV location is especially odd. There’s sound pollution from the water treatment plant 24/7. Whereas facilities and scene outside is well maintained and we had great time My experience with the breakfast was great. Chef cooked well.

Its basically private unit managed by a company. Rooms r studio like..very 70s vibe but clean..good. unfortunately my room is next to the cooling tower.its hella noisy. The breakfast is located in another building.. so many steps(anak tangga)..not suitable for huge luggages.. parking is also quite bad but its mainly due to the design of the building. Isit worth the price? Nooope.. I have to make too many compromises..However it is near town...which is good.

This was the worst experience ever. The air conditioner was leaking and damaged my laptop. There was a dirty towel with blood stains. The food quality was terrible, and even the ballroom was in poor condition—uncomfortable, smelly floor mats, and overly hot. On top of that, the hotel team responded far too slowly to every issue. Nothing special here.. Overall, it was absolutely not worth what we paid.

I had the opportunity to join a team building program here, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The activities were well-planned, engaging, and perfectly balanced between fun and challenge. The facilitators were professional, energetic, and knew exactly how to encourage participation and teamwork.||The environment was safe, clean, and conducive for open communication and collaboration. Every activity pushed us to think creatively, trust each other, and work as a united team. By the end of the day, we not only strengthened our bonds but also learned valuable lessons about problem-solving, leadership, and effective communication.||Highly recommended for any organization looking to boost morale, teamwork, and productivity. I would gladly come back for another round!

We enjoyed our stay at this place. Management and staff are highly cooperative. Room design was quite unique and attractive. Buffet breakfast was awesome. There are well maintained supervised swimming pools for kids as well.
