Avlu Bodrum Bistro & Bar

Cozy small restaurant in center of the old city of Bodrum. Prices quite high for that small space and simple interior. Best to visit in winter for any special occasion, so you can enjoy chimney. Definitely suggest to go once just to catch good atmosphere and Bodrum vibe. Wouldn’t repeat, once is enough.

Great dinner experience in a cute backstreet of Bodrum. We had mushroom risotto, shrimps with tomato sauce and salmon. Presentation and taste was all great. Suggested for people who wants to have a cozy dinner experience and wants to escape the touristy Bodrum main streets. Also the bathroom was fresh and loaded with hygiene products. We will definitely visit them if we ever come to Bodrum again.

Turkey in general has amazing food and you can’t go wrong in many places BUT…this place is off the charts. I live in NY and fine dining is easy to come by, so finding a restaurant overseas tends to make us for higher end reviews—this spot over delivers. The staff was not pushy because they understand their quality. The bartender was creative and drinks were delicious. The chef—WOW! It’s hard to find a flaw and the creativity with flavors was done to perfection. Make time to stop by for a drink or dinner—you won’t be disappointed!

Fine-dining place in the city center of Bodrum. Reservation needs before you go there. There are places in the building and on the street. They are serving samples of the fusion cuisine with vines and cocktails. We ordered three main courses and two cocktails, and the value was 1650,00TL. This place can be an option, if you would like to try different tastes, otherwise, there are lots of places in Bodrum that you can go and try with reasonable prices and rich menu options.

Beautiful dinner here. On the more expensive side but 100% worth it. Beautifully presented dishes, amazing cocktails and pristine service. Set in a lovely spot. Highly recommend!

Great food and service. Especially loved the appetizers (steak tartare and the shrimp with avocado mouse). The sea bass entre was also very nice - extremely fresh and expertly cooked. My only small nitpick, IMO, it could use a little extra and more powerful lemon butter sauce. We’ll be back!

Fantastic. The best restaurant in Bodrum for sure! Highly recommend. Every dish was super delicious. The salad was perfect, bruschetta was pefect. Seafood pasta pefect. Great service. Great music.

Had the good fortune to visit this place on Saturday evening while on holiday in Bodrum. We were very excited having seen it is the #1 restaurant in Bodrum on TripAdvisor, and it did not disappoint. 2014 Merlot is a superb wine, tastes like a Malbec. Fresh bread was provided in branded Avlu paper bags. The background music was a lovely addition to the rustic interior. Goat's cheese salad and Steak Skewers to start and Steak Burgers for mains. I could not recommend it highly enough. The service was equally good. It is set about 50 metres back from the main tourist strip and it makes a world of difference.

Such a good ambiance ! Avlu is located at the Sanat Okulu Street in Bodrum Barlar Sokağı. This small and cute street will make you feel like you were in sacred place ! I only tried their cheese plate and wines and it was so good ! They have a big variety of wine collection ! I recommend you to try Sulva's wines. Sulva is a turkish wine company and they make really good ones! You will love the place and won't be disappointed !
