Avocado Lake Park

I had a lovely time here it was very beautiful and relaxing.

Felt great to get out for a few hours to hang out with youngest son and daughter in-law,love of my life my husband Jose Novoa also DRUMROLL PLSE especially the one who puts the sunshine in my sky,along with the stars at night no other than Miss Hazy Grace my favorite person in the world my only grandchild

Good place to bbq and relax, take a swim, but DON'T go too far in the lake it's dangerous.

Great spot for a day at the lake. Plenty of shade trees and spots to explore around the lake. Cash only at entrance.

Beautiful Park and nice to have a great picnic there in the spring and summer.

Clean, big area, lots to do, great scenery and perfect to bring family for fun

Took my kids here yesterday fishing. Caught a few fish, had a great time. This place has lots of trash everywhere. Just pick up after yourself please.

Park was closed due to flooding but we went up to the dam instead and it was beautiful how full the river is

Very rude park ranger very disrespectful he pulled up when we where fishing and automatically assumed we didn't pay at entrance then started harassing my husband all that in front of our children

Nice little lake. Great family spot. Only problem is the disgusting nasty people that think it's okay to litter. The people that maintain the area do a good jump emptying the trash cans located practically everywhere. Saw so many workers out doing a good job. Along the shoreline you cannot walk 5 inches without stepping on beer bottles, dirty diapers, cigarette butts and other garbage. Apparently it's really hard to walk a few steps and put your trash in the garbage cans. I wish someone could fine these idiots for littering. It just makes me sick. They show their appreciation to this beautiful lake by destroying it with garbage.

This was my first time at the lake. My husband had been there many times before with his family growing up. We brought our grandson to the lake for an afternoon of fishing; others had the same idea....Lol I did notice they had a beach area, which I would imagine is great for summer here in the valley. There are playgrounds, bbq grills, tables, and public restrooms. There was plenty of parking around the lake and beautiful green grass areas. The entrance fee to the park is $5.00.

Great place. I must admit it was my first visit, but it was so lovely that I just need to recommend it. Fun here and beautiful things to see. Also not too packed so overall this place is recommended.

Last time I went there was trash everywhere, especially during the summertime, I understand if you smoke but smoking at the actual guard gate while letting people in caught me off guard
