A'Wangralea Caravan Park

Great little dog friendly caravan park. We went mid week, so there were heaps of spots and it was very quiet. Campsites are a little bigger than you’d get at a Big 4, with real grass. There was a pub and grocery store within a few minutes walk, and tally provided a nap of the town with some tips on where to go. Tammy was communicative and the booking process was easy. Flexible on checkout time, too. Maybe because it was mid week but I think just because the owners are chill people. The toilets and camp kitchen aren’t fancy but were spotless throughout the day. Small park away from the very busy area. Short walk to shops. Golf course close and fun. Nothing for kids so they not here. Perfect

Stayed here for 2 nights with our camper trailer. Tammie was very helpful and friendly both on the phone and in person. Very quiet location. Well maintained grassy areas. Very clean shower/ toilet block with very hot water. Camp kitchen was great with very hot water for washing up. Would happily stay here again . Thanku Tammy and Max.

Great value for the cabins, has everything you need and felt very homely!

Great place to stay, not right on the foreshore, but the park on the foreshore had 700 sites, very busy and crowded. This is a really small, quiet park. Friendly management, beautiful large sites, pet friendly and clean well maintained facilities.

Tammy and Max, the perfect Hosts. Lovely, peaceful campsite, only a few minutes walk into Town. Stayed for 10 days, through a storm, and cannot fault the place at all. Tammy and Max were very helpful, always around to help or answer questions. The camp toilets, showers and laundry are one of the cleanest we have come across. Will absolutely stay here, can’t recommend it highly enough .

Had a great stay. Bed was super comfortable, shower was excellent with the water heating up nice and quick and the staff were very friendly. Definitely will be back!

We struck a particularly quiet time, 10 nights of peace and quiet, just about the only caravan in the place, even the owners left for nearly a week. Our dog Tui loved it!! Great facilities and location, we are going back, soon!! Thank you for a nice break from being retired!!
