AWAY Spa Budapest

What a beautiful Spa, a true gem of Budapest. We went for my partners birthday and the team went above and beyond to make sure to was special. The spa itself was clean, quiet and beautiful. Our massages were a break away from reality, with a professional but warm touch. With special thanks to Regina who went above and beyond to help me organise this surprise for my partner and Dian and Asri for making our trip and experience extra special.

The best spa I’ve ever been to! Regina was sooooo sweet and thoughtful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and wish I could go back. The spa was so relaxing, the food was yummy, and the staff was beyond kind. Dian was great!

Amazing SPA for a lovely break on a cold Budapest day. Everything was great, spent a whole afternoon there with friends and really got a luxury experience. You have everything at your disposal to feel pampered and leave refreshed. I also got a massage from Mia which was just excellent she was so nice and so attentive to my needs, thank you again ! :)

Small, beautiful spa getaway! I came here to relax from my flight in the morning and before I could check into my hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Went above and beyond and I can’t fault this place or the staff one bit! It was quiet when I went, which was perfect

A Sanctuary! Six Months In and I'm Still Obsessed This review is especially for anyone thinking about joining the spa as a member. Don't hesitate! I joined Áway Spa's annual membership a little over six months ago, and it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my wellbeing. As someone who initially hesitated about the financial commitment, I can honestly say it's been worth every forint. Even though I live just around the corner, it's like stepping into another world for an hour or two. The facilities are beautiful - both the FIT and WET areas offer everything you need for a workout & complete relaxation. I look forward to my visits and it's become an essential part of my self-care routine. The staff have always provided remarkable service. I would never have joined if it wasn't for Adri & Mia (and Beratrisa who's moved) hadn't given me such excellent service and answered all my questions right on the first day. They never have to go find someone else to help me or to answer a question! I love that they are ready to chat with me if I want to chat but also leave me to relax when I want to relax. Encouraging me in my gym goals. They notice when I've been away. They make a point to make me feel welcome and even the new people seem to magically learn my name before I can learn theirs. This summer they got a new Spa Director, Katalin. I've noticed thoughtful improvements popping up all over & it was already an oasis! She has a special touch and real attention to detail that's made the experience even better. I wish I'd had someone's review of their membership to read when we were thinking about it. They recently updated their memberships & whether you're considering the new one-month trial membership or the annual package-- go for it! You won't regret investing in yourself & you'll quickly feel like you have your own personal retreat in the city, with friend waiting for you to arrive! And just go ahead and go for the annual membership. The perks you get with it are amazing. I mean they wash my gym and pool cloths for me!

Honestly, what a fantastic experience. From the design of the spa, to the facilities, to the lovely and hospitable staff. This was one of our favorite spa experiences yet, and we visit quite a lot of them. If you're staying in Budapest, and especially at the W Budapest, I highly recommend to spend some time up in the spa rejuvenating. My only wish is there was a hot bath/cold plunge pool, but the rest of it makes up for it. Thanks so much to Dian, Mia and Regina specifically. We will surely be back next time!

I would not recommend this place to anyone who is genuinely looking for a proper spa experience and appreciates well-equipped spa facilities. Beyond stylish design pillows and expensive furniture, there is very little to offer. Considering this, the price is extremely high (19,900 HUF per person for a day spa ticket). The spa includes one very small sauna that is barely warm, a small steam cabin, and a warm plunge pool. During my stay, guests were asked to leave the pool for about 15 minutes due to cleaning. Later in the afternoon, the sauna stopped working (it was unclear whether it was turned off or malfunctioning). I reported the issue and, although it appeared to be switched back on rather reluctantly, it never properly heated up. To put this into perspective, you would need to sit there for around 30-35 minutes at that temperature just to feel a minimal sauna effect. When you pay around 40,000 HUF for two people, issues like this are not just inconvenient but unacceptable. Since there are only three things you can actually do here, if even one of them does not function properly, it seriously undermines the entire experience. Overall, it felt like a superficial, show-off spa rather than a service one would expect from a five-star hotel. I would not recommend purchasing the day spa experience as an external guest.

Favorite SPA in the city! Always the best service! Regina helped to squeeze me in for an appointment during the weekend, which is always difficult, as well as consulted professionally on the most suitable one as per the request. Dian, the therapist, oh my gosh, you are the true angel! I am a regular for massage, but she managed to fix my computer upper back in one session! Truly amazing. Not even mentioning the high quality cosmetics and the interior. Thank you, Away SPA team! You are doing an excellent job
