AWAY Spa Budapest

Honestly, what a fantastic experience. From the design of the spa, to the facilities, to the lovely and hospitable staff. This was one of our favorite spa experiences yet, and we visit quite a lot of them. If you're staying in Budapest, and especially at the W Budapest, I highly recommend to spend some time up in the spa rejuvenating. My only wish is there was a hot bath/cold plunge pool, but the rest of it makes up for it. Thanks so much to Dian, Mia and Regina specifically. We will surely be back next time!

Small, beautiful spa getaway! I came here to relax from my flight in the morning and before I could check into my hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Went above and beyond and I can’t fault this place or the staff one bit! It was quiet when I went, which was perfect

A Sanctuary! Six Months In and I'm Still Obsessed This review is especially for anyone thinking about joining the spa as a member. Don't hesitate! I joined Áway Spa's annual membership a little over six months ago, and it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my wellbeing. As someone who initially hesitated about the financial commitment, I can honestly say it's been worth every forint. Even though I live just around the corner, it's like stepping into another world for an hour or two. The facilities are beautiful - both the FIT and WET areas offer everything you need for a workout & complete relaxation. I look forward to my visits and it's become an essential part of my self-care routine. The staff have always provided remarkable service. I would never have joined if it wasn't for Adri & Mia (and Beratrisa who's moved) hadn't given me such excellent service and answered all my questions right on the first day. They never have to go find someone else to help me or to answer a question! I love that they are ready to chat with me if I want to chat but also leave me to relax when I want to relax. Encouraging me in my gym goals. They notice when I've been away. They make a point to make me feel welcome and even the new people seem to magically learn my name before I can learn theirs. This summer they got a new Spa Director, Katalin. I've noticed thoughtful improvements popping up all over & it was already an oasis! She has a special touch and real attention to detail that's made the experience even better. I wish I'd had someone's review of their membership to read when we were thinking about it. They recently updated their memberships & whether you're considering the new one-month trial membership or the annual package-- go for it! You won't regret investing in yourself & you'll quickly feel like you have your own personal retreat in the city, with friend waiting for you to arrive! And just go ahead and go for the annual membership. The perks you get with it are amazing. I mean they wash my gym and pool cloths for me!

I almost hesitate to share this hidden gem, as part of its charm lies in the tranquility I experienced. I had the Away Spa nearly all to myself, and I would hate to return and find it bustling with visitors. But credit where it’s due — in a city brimming with spas, this is truly one of the finest options. Though it’s small, it feels like a piece of heaven. There’s only one sauna, which would feel crowded with more than two people, and the same goes for the steam room. The pool, however, is a dream at a blissful 35°C, although the promised fruit on site was missing during my visit. Despite its size, this place offers a deeply relaxing and luxurious experience. I highly recommend it for those looking to escape the city’s bustle and find a bit of peaceful indulgence.

We stayed at the W for five days and had an amazing time. We took the opportunity to try several massages, including detox, relaxing, and couples sessions (50 and 80 minutes). During our visit, we discovered an exceptional massage therapist named Dian, who was truly outstanding. After chatting with her, we learned she competes in the Paris massage competition and has ranked highly, which clearly shone through in her incredible technique. I completely melted into the bed, and her skills were stellar. Highly recommend!

A truly 5-star experience! Our visit to Away Spa was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything was calm, professional, and inviting. We’ve had quite a few massages over the years, but this was by far the best we’ve ever experienced. The level of care, technique, and attention to detail was exceptional. Outstanding spa experience at W Budapest I had the most incredible massage with Asri at the AWAY Spa, at W Budapest, one of, if not the, best I’ve ever had! She was warm, professional, and unbelievably skilled and I left feeling like a new person. The spa itself is spotless, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Special thanks to Mia as well, who was so welcoming and helpful throughout. If you're visiting, do yourself a favour and book with Asri, who was exceptional in every way.
