Awfully Chocolate Great World City (CAFE) – Birthday Cake Shop, Bakery & Cafe

I purchased a slice of chocolate tiramisu for takeaway but got the original chocolate cake instead. I saw the staff taking out and packing the last slice of chocolate tiramisu but I ended up getting another cake when I checked at home. Not only I got a different cake, but I also got charged unfairly since chocolate tiramisu is supposed to be more expensive. Will never buy Awfully Chocolate or at least from this shop again. Update: After I complained to the customer support, someone reached out to me to replace the correct cake and gave me an extra chocolate box. Really appreciate the service, and hope the staff can be more careful next time.

40th birthday and cake from Awfully Chocolate. Unfortunately the message looked to be written by a 4 year old 🫣. One would have expected the words to be at least written professionally and even on a piece of flat chocolate and placed on-top of the cake! Have honestly never seen one presented like this and reminded me on how I would make it at home 😅

Had cakes and coffee here with my girlfriend, surprised they don’t have still free flow water at a CAFE! It’s especially nice to have water with hot chocolate and chocolate cakes lol Service was friendly enough

If you are looking for a place to rest, this is perfect. You can come here and sit be rest assured nobody will come by your table to take your order or offer anything. After you go to the counter and order, again sit and rest because they will completely forget about your order. You will have to again get up and go and remind them about your order.

Your staff at Great world was being very racist and doesn't doesn't want to serve Asians. Only smiling to foreigners. We had to beg her for recommendations. We had a very bad experiences and wouldn't recommend your store to anyone in Singapore. No respect, extremely bad services and experiences.

Came here to read. The weekday crowd is pleasant and nice to read my book. I have long black and had a decadent treat of Black Forest, with quite amount of juicy cherries in soft and moist dark chocolate sponge. I will be back again for other chocolate desserts

The service was “AWFUL” as its brand name. We ordered two drinks with a female staff with the short hair and glasses, and sat at the table in front of the cashier waiting for the one chocolate milk and one latte. It took 27 minutes to get the drinks. The cashier forgot to tell her colleague to prepare for the drinks. We followed up twice to get all drinks. The first follow up we got the chocolate milk right away from the same cashier. But she again forgot the latte. We engaged another staff with long hair with glasses who just kept chatting to her friends over the bar, ignoring her job. We had no hope with the short hair staff really. We asked the long hair staff that we wanted the refund for the not-arrived-yet latte, but she claimed her colleague was making it which was not true. Nobody made it until the long hair staff went to the coffee area to make one for us right away within one minute. There was no apologies from any staff from their mistakes. This is the worst and terrible restaurant & cafe service that I had in Singapore. I will not recommend this cafe to any friends of mine. Good luck to future customers.

We debated about getting the 20sgd Tiramisu but decided against it. We instead had the chocolate crepe cake and the white chocolate slice. Both are okay. I was expecting more I guess. We had AC latte as well to pair and definitely an overpriced coffee that doesn't deserve its price. Maybe the signature fat chocolate drink would've been a better option. Overall, it's okay but probably wouldn't go back if there are other options.
