Very disappointed with the service at Awfully Chocolate (Great World).
I was already standing in front of the cashier, clearly waiting to pay for my chocolate. When a service crew member came over, instead of serving me, she told me to “wait” and proceeded to attend to a foreign customer who was behind me in the queue.
This was frustrating and unacceptable. Customers should be served fairly and in order, regardless of nationality. Feeling ignored and sidelined, I decided to leave without making my purchase.
Discriminatory or preferential service should never be the norm in Singapore. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training to ensure equal and respectful treatment for all customers.
