All I can say if you are in this area by 50 miles or so you have got to give this place a try. Talk about a book were the cover does not match the inside. We pulled up on Tuesday night and while we were the only two vehicles in the parking lot and that was sketchy we took a chance anyway. Dang glad we did the margarita choices alone will keep you coming back especially if you go between 2pm-5pm (Happy Hour) we missed it by about 5 minutes but that did not stop our group from having a couple of the Mango Chamoy Margarita those will rock your socks off. The only issue is we were there on Monday night and it was a "beautiful" very flavorful drink. Went back on Wednesday afternoon caught the Happy hour special and while flavor was good it was not close to the picture of tastefulness as the one on Monday evening. The restaurant does a pretty good job of keeping everyone socially distant but its also a county with few infections. The staff are all wearing masks and most of the people walking in are as well. This is definitely one of the local favorites and the staff are real quick with the greetings especially if you are a local. While you get the complementary hello, come in sit anywhere its just not quite the same but as dinner goes along they do warm up to out of towners.
Now that I have told you about the drinks, building and staff how about the food. Huge surprise there as well. The flavors, the portions as mentioned above we went Monday night, liked it so much went back Wednesday afternoon for some appetizers and tortillas we needed for our camping breakfast the next morning.
My daughter (10yr old) had the Chipotle chicken, chicken breast cooked perfectly not dry, topped with chipotle sauce and blanco Mexican cheese had a little spice and she loved it comes with rice and re fried beans, she not a bean lover so did not care for them. My wife ordered the beef quesadilla they must use some truck tires for measuring the tortilla it was huge, stuffed with grilled onions and generous portion of tender beef. I am trying to remember what I ate it was something with the name had cubed beef fajita meat wrapped in flour tortillas' covered in blanco queso side of rice and refried beans...YES Please may I have another. It was not an enchilada but more of a Taco Al Carbon, no matter what it was GOOD!. We started the meal with a cup of blanco queso which I prefer to the usual yellow queso found closer to major towns.
