Amazing property, large and beautiful, staff and service is superb. Special thanks to our butler Abdul and waiter. They have amazing medical services on site. We gave 4 stars due to the food which is an important aspect for us, we only visited the buffet restaurants which were the ones included in the all inclusive package. There was variety of foods and every day there was a different theme but mostly all tasted bland, meat, chicken and fish all tasted boiled, specially beef (I couldn’t have beef any time regardless the preparation) the chicken and beef had different sauces and stuff but always tasted boiled, some days I went hungry. The grilled meats mostly overcooked, dry and hard to chew. I tied everything and would leave it on the plate after the first bite. I had to eat pizza or pasta. Deserts were terrible most of the time, except the gulab that was superb. One day they had mango slices which I loved it. Drinks were good and bar Zero Degree had nice options for snacks. It seemed that buffet is tailored for Chinese guests but I have tried better Chinese food in Alaska. Breakfast was good, fresh juice is prepared for you. If the food is important for you then it’s not the place for you, a la carte restaurants maybe better but I can’t say. Beds were extremely hard, only downside to the rooms, otherwise rooms were very nice and spacious. Facilities are good, everything is beautifully placed, there is a tennis court, volleyball court, play station, pool table, table tennis. The spa was extremely nice, thank you to my therapist Sri from Bali. We are divers and usually do 10-12 dives in the resorts in Maldives but we acknowledge that not everybody does that so this part didn’t influence our review at all. If you are a diver and plan on diving, don’t go to this resort, the diving ops are terrible, it could be great but I don’t know why it was awful. The dive center staff are nice and friendly but it doesn’t translate to a good experience. They won’t take you to any good spots, I read a review about this before going but did not listen and man I was so disappointed. I don’t know if it’s the captain or what but no channel dives, no current dives. If you are interested in the Tiger sharks in Fuvamulah, you better go to the local Island because apparently, none of the resorts in the area will take you there despite being only 2h on speed boat. Probably less than that. You would have to pay 3000 dollars and be gone for 2 days to book a boat. It’s such a shame because the contrary is if you are only interested in snorkeling, this is the most beautiful house reef I ever encountered in Maldives, except it’s lack in clownfish LOL. Lots of fish, healthy hard coral, sharks, turtles, eagle rays. If this is the house reef, I cannot imagine how many great dive sites are out there. We went to Fun thila, nice but I would have stayed snorkeling in the house reef, also the turtle place, the house reef is 10 times better than that. They say there is no manta point in the Atoll, I think they meant to say, they hadn’t found the manta points because they are not investigating enough. Always excuses were depending on weather, they never guarantee a dive site, they will take you to the whatever they want with the newbies. We decided after 2 dives that it wasn’t worth it. This place is definitely not tailored to divers. Go to Villamendhoo instead. I highly recommend Ayada if you are going on honeymoon, romantic, family travel with kids, kind won’t get bored here, amazing snorkeling in the house reef. Not for scuba diving or if you’re a picky eater.

The room we stayed in was the Sunset Family Ocean Suite with Pool. Ayada gave us a great experience in terms of room size, geographical environment, and AI package. We had a very comfortable stay. We would like to especially thank INAANI, the waiter at Magu restaurant, for his thoughtful service. This is an island I would love to visit again.

Our 8-night honeymoon at Ayada Maldives in August 2025 was nothing short of a dream. From the moment we landed in Malé, the experience was flawless. We were greeted by an Ayada representative who whisked us through the domestic terminal, bypassing queues and settling us into the lounge. The seamless transfer continued with the speedboat ride, where our butler, Zeeshan, met us with cold towels and a warm welcome. This was the beginning of the most incredible service we've ever experienced. We chose to split our stay between a Beach Villa (4 nights) and an Ocean Villa (4 nights), which we easily arranged by booking directly with the resort. This was the perfect way to experience the island's different charms. The Beach Villa felt like a private, lush hideaway with direct access to the sand. The Ocean Villa was a different world entirely; listening to the waves at night and waking up to watch baby sharks and even a pod of dolphins from our hammock at sunrise was magical. The resort is impeccably maintained—you would never guess its age. The true star of our stay was our butler, Zeeshan. Every morning, he sent a helpful WhatsApp with our schedule, perfectly tailored to the weather. He knew we were on our honeymoon and recommended the most romantic and quiet excursions without ever being pushy. His daily check-ins at breakfast and his genuine smile made us feel so cared for. Thank you, Zeeshan, for everything! The "Diamond All-Inclusive" package is, without a doubt, the smartest choice and fantastic value. It included everything from premium drinks to incredible dining, and the daily wine and cheese experience at Ile de Joie was a sophisticated touch we looked forward to each evening. We started every day at Magu, where the breakfast buffet was fresh, varied, and delicious. I loved the custom-made juices, and the chefs were always ready to create a special dish. Head Chef Tulsi even prepared a stunning off-menu ceviche for us during the Latin-themed night. Our other favourites included Ocean Breeze, which was a beautiful and romantic spot for dinner right over the water. Natuka and his team served incredible food (we went three times!), and Kai, where we did an amazing sushi-making class with Rexy. The teppanyaki night at Mizu with the fun and talented Chef Septian is a must-do, and we also loved the Sea Salt beach barbecue—eating on the beach with a fire show never gets old. The entire team has a 'can-do' attitude and will always try to accommodate any request. My favourite cocktail wasn't on the menu, but after a quick chat, one of the brilliant bar staff made a special effort to source the ingredients for her. We quickly learned that most classic international cocktails are available even if they aren't listed—you just have to ask. Every staff member contributed to our perfect stay, but special mentions must go to Hakan at Ocean Breeze for his attentive service; Días at Ile de Joie for her friendly chats; Shaggyl for his passionate and knowledgeable jet-ski tour (we saw turtles and rays!); Rashi at Magu for his enthusiastic morning greetings; and Sagara at Kai and Zero Degree for remembering our orders and his attention to every little detail. We went during the monsoon season and were blessed with the weather—maybe 30 minutes of rain total. The first few days were windy, but perfect for the spa or pool, and the last few days were calm and idyllic. The resort was wonderfully quiet, giving it an exclusive and personal feel that was perfect for our honeymoon. If you are looking for a paradise where luxury, nature, and impeccable service come together, look no further. Ayada Maldives gave us memories that will last a lifetime.

Ayada is an oasis. Zee was our host; super attentive, always quick to respond to anything we needed. Santi from Bali hosted us at the spa - her massage alone is worth the trip to Ayada. She worked out knots I didn’t even know I had. The surfing was unforgettable thanks to Fish and Kelly, our local guides, and Sheehan, who took us out on the boat. They are all incredibly skilled and down-to-earth, easy to spend hours with and have such detailed knowledge of every break. Surfing with them was so much fun. The food was another highlight. Quite aside from the variety, the quality of service was amazing. Chef Tulsi went above and beyond, treating us one evening to the most perfectly cooked reef fish. Rasih was wonderful, always anticipating what we might need before we even asked. The whole team made every meal feel special. Thank you Ayada!

We came to Ayada Maldives for our honeymoon, and it was truly the most incredible experience. Everything from the people to the food to the snorkeling to the villa was unforgettable. We’ve been lucky to travel to some beautiful places, but this was on another level. The team made our honeymoon feel so special in every possible way. A few shoutouts to the amazing people who made our stay so memorable: Dev, our butler, was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, he took care of everything. He was so kind, patient, and always responsive. No request ever felt like too much, and he somehow always knew what we needed before we even asked. He made the entire trip seamless and stress-free, always with a smile. We genuinely adored him. Notta was our snorkeling guide for both the private house reef excursion and the private snorkeling safari. I was really nervous about the reef sharks, and he was so patient and calming. Thanks to him, we ended up loving snorkeling so much that we booked again the next day. He made us feel completely safe and treated us like royalty, taking us to beautiful reefs and making the whole experience feel VIP. Rasih took care of us at Magu during breakfast and dinner, and also during our beachside teppanyaki dinner at Mizu. He remembered our drink orders, was always so warm and friendly, and truly made every meal feel personal. Faroog, our favorite server at Zero Degree, felt like a friend by the end of the trip. He was so attentive, knew our usual orders, and always made sure we were taken care of. We loved seeing him every day. Wahyu was our teppanyaki chef at Mizu, and he was hilarious. His cooking show was so much fun and the food was amazing. He brought so much energy to the experience and made it one of our favorite nights. As for the resort itself, it was absolutely stunning. We stayed in an ocean villa with a private pool and loved every minute. I had read reviews saying the villas are far from everything, but that wasn’t true at all. We used the bikes and got around quickly, and on rainy days Dev picked us up in a buggy. The room was beautiful, spotless, and so well taken care of. Housekeeping was great, and the minibar was well-stocked (they also brought any alcohol we requested). The food was fantastic across the board. Magu had a rotating dinner theme each night and everything was fresh and delicious. Zero Degree was our favorite for lunch and drinks. Mizu was an amazing teppanyaki experience right on the beach. The entertainment was also a highlight. The fire show was incredible and a must-see, and the carnival they hosted one day was a fun surprise. We also really enjoyed the excursions. Finally, transportation was smooth from start to finish. Ayada took care of every detail from the moment we landed in Malé, and we never had to worry about a thing. If you’re thinking about Ayada for your honeymoon or a special trip, do it. Truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.

Easily the best trip of my life. Stayed 7 days at Ayada and everything was flawless. Craig (the manager) was super friendly and made sure we were always taken care of. My butler Nattu was an absolute legend — made life easy all week. The water sports crew (Natta, Shapoo, Ire, Misbah, Shaggy and more) were awesome — fun, professional, and always down to help. Dive Kingdom was next level. Jan, my dive master, made every dive unforgettable. Whole team = top-notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Ayada Resort – A Slice of Paradise Worth the Journey As a seasoned traveler who has stayed in countless hotels and resorts worldwide, I can confidently say Ayada in the Maldives stands among the very best. From its breathtaking location to its flawless service, this hidden gem exceeded every expectation. 1. Choosing Ayada: With so many atolls and islands in the Maldives, selecting the right resort felt overwhelming—until I discovered Adaya. It is just 20 miles north of the Equator, its tropical climate is reliably warm and stable, making it an ideal destination. We traveled at the end of April. 2. The Journey: While reaching Ayada requires an extra hour of domestic flight from Malé followed by a 50-minute speedboat ride, the resort’s seamless coordination turned the trip into part of the adventure. Transfers, luggage handling, and even a comfortable lounge were expertly arranged. Pro tip: Plan your arrival/departure flights to enjoy the mesmerizing aerial views of turquoise lagoons and coral reefs—it’s a preview of the beauty to come. 3. The Accommodation: We stayed in a Sunset Suite (600’s), a sprawling single-level overwater villa with three distinct living areas, crafted from rich, solid wood. The villa’s design blends luxury and privacy effortlessly: a private pool, a deep soaking tub, and direct access to the lagoon from our deck. Waking up to uninterrupted views of the Ocean felt like owning our own piece of sky and sea. 4. Privacy & Atmosphere: If you, like me, crave tranquility over crowds, Adaya delivers. The resort’s intimate scale ensures peace, with spacious villas thoughtfully spaced apart. It’s just you, the ocean, and the horizon—no distractions. 5. Dining & Experiences: The resort’s themed dinners were a highlight. Each night brought a new culinary adventure. I loved the Sea Salt Night under the stars to a beachside fire show that left us breathless. The chefs’ creativity shines, especially considering the resort’s remote location. 6. Service Excellence: Ayada’s staff elevates the experience from great to extraordinary. Our butler, Zeeshan was a gem—attentive, patient, and always just a WhatsApp message away. Whether arranging a last-minute excursion or fulfilling a special request, every detail was handled within minutes. 🥇Final Thoughts: Yes, Ayada is an investment—but one worth making. As someone who believes life’s joys are earned, I’d return in a heartbeat. Beyond the luxury, however, lies a sobering truth: The Maldives’ low-lying islands face an uncertain future. Scientists warn that rising seas could erase 80% of these islands within decades. Visit soon. Swim in the lagoons, marvel at the coral reefs, and watch the sun ignite the sky at dusk. Learn about the atolls’ fragile ecosystems and the resilience of Maldivian culture. Ayada isn’t just a resort—it’s a reminder of our planet’s fleeting beauty. What happens here echoes globally. See it, savor it, and carry its lessons home. Verdict: Ayada is more than a vacation; it’s a lifetime memory. Book now, cherish forever.
