AYANA Villas Bali

This was easily the best experience my wife and I have ever had while traveling. I think the thing that stood out the most was the amazing service and people. I cannot tell you how many gestures and little acts of kindness we received. The drinks, food, and room were all immaculate! Every single person we came across was so kind and accommodating. The villas are a little more expensive, but I am so happy we spent a little extra for our honeymoon. The butler service, and other perks are WELL worth the slightly higher cost. ||Please, if you are hesitant about booking here… don’t be. It is worth every penny!

From the moment we booked our holiday to AYANA Villas to right now, as I sit by our villa’s private pool awaiting our last dinner, my husband and I have felt like royalty. We’re most definitely not royalty, nor are we wealthy or acustom to luxurious holidays. This holidays was hard earned and a once in a lifetime trip to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday, as well as the honeymoon we never had. But, judging by the way we have been treated by the staff you would think we were celebrities. The kindness, the attention, and the desire to please coming from the staff has at times made us both a bit emotional. Our butlers, particularly Firgan and Anom, made us feel like family and we looked forward to chatting to them every day. Everywhere we went we were greeted by beauty - both on the grounds of AYANA but also from the hearts of the staff who brightened every day with their smiles and grace. Our villa is beyond perfection - everything we could possibly need is provided - and every single restaurant and bar we’ve visited is world class. DAVA is a favourite for breakfast, Teppenyaki at Honzen was a highlight, and Rock Bar was surreal in its stunning location and delicious food. The truth is, the entire AYANA complex has been so thoughtfully and masterfully designed and maintained that the common areas are just as tranquil and stunning as the main features. The attention to the tiny details is astounding. I can’t imagine anyone finding reason to not enjoy their time here - this trip has soothed our stress, made us laugh uproariously, had us gasping at the sheer beauty of the place and feeling like AYANA has soaked into our souls and given us a life changing experience we’ll carry with us forever. Bali has won our hearts, the Balinese people have moved us with their graciousness, and AYANA has left us wanting to return again and again.

Wow! What can I say about this amazing resort to even try and do it justice.|We spent 12 days at Ayana Villas for our honeymoon in June and we stayed in a cliff top villa room 3007. We travelled from the UK for 12 days of bliss and this is exactly what we got!|The room was superb and had a great outside space that was worth the upgraded cost we paid. The cleaners came in twice a day and done an amazing job of cleaning our room.|As we had booked a villa , it meant that it came with personal butlers which were a god send, Edi and Gus and Bagus were fantastic and helped us every single day with little requests and also taking us back and forth to dinner. They were friendly and courteous and always happy to see us, we feel they took the time to get to know us during out stay, anything we asked them was never too much trouble for them and they responded very quickly , could not have wished for a better service from these amazing people.|We had monkeys visiting us every day walking past our villa which was great to see and we loved watching them.| |We had breakfast at Dava every day , we loved it there, the staff greeted you by name and no matter who was serving us the other staff there always came and said hello on a morning. All the staff were again fantastic but the ones that stood out were Fingki who made conversation every day and remembered what we always ordered and just gave great customer service. A lovely person who made our breakfast experience great every day. She got us a lovely little cake made to wish us a happy honeymoon which was greatly appreciated. Harris was great also, we saw him the first day at the villas pool and then he was at Dava for breakfast for the rest of our time there, he was lovely and friendly and was always smiling.| |The restaurants were also great , we ate at a different restaurant every single night , we had good meal in all of them, all great experiences, the staff were great also in every restaurant, always repeated your order back to make sure there were no mistakes and drinks were promptly served. A few standouts for us were T0-Ge, Sami Sami, Liu Li palace, Padi and also lovely Mexican food at Unique Rooftop bar.|We also went to the Kampoeng Bali dinner and show, please go and see this , the performers were fantastic , the show was a great cultural experience of Balinese music and dancing. The Buffet also was incredible , we loved trying all of the different Indonesian foods and again everything tasted amazing. We are so pleased we did this. We again booked this through out butler and we had great seats right in the middle. Thanks to them.| |The Rock bar , again booked through out butlers, great seats in the villa section so we could see the sun setting and have a few drinks. The views lived up to expectations and it is worth going , we went a couple of times and really enjoyed it , we got some great photos.| |AfterRock, we were unsure whether it would be our type of place, as it is advertised as a nightclub, but we were happily proved wrong!!! We went here around 8pm we caught a great live band who played a lot of great songs and we were very impressed. After the band, the Dj came on who was a young girl who the next day we say playing at the rock bar too, she was good, also the music wasn’t too heavy and After Rock had a great party vibe. We loved it! Our server was Budi , he looked after us and took lots of photos and a great video and gave recommendations for drinks too. Great night!| |We also visited the spa twice and had 2 massages each and they were both amazing and we felt very relaxed after. We visited the Thalassotherapy pool located at the spa which was a muscle workout in itself in a good way!| | We had a photoshoot with the onsite photographer which was a gift from the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, the pictures were taken at our villa and were a great momento to keep of our wonderful time here.| |Overall I cannot fault this place, the staff, the gardeners, the restaurants, the servers, the cleaners, every single person we met was friendly and went above and beyond our expectations especially the Butlers. We had such an amazing stay at Ayana Villas Bali; I really have to start by appreciating our two main villa butlers, Gus and Eddie. They were hands down the best service staff we’ve ever had; so attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. They took care of everything we needed and made our whole stay feel easy, relaxing, and truly special. Honestly, they made a big difference to our experience.|We were there from mid to late June and had stayed at Ayana before back in 2019; so this was a return visit. It was even better this time around. The staff at the resort are just lovely; always smiling, respectful, and ready to help. Everyone we met treated us with such care and warmth, which really stood out.|We booked the Oceanfront Villa and it was absolutely beautiful. The space was big and comfortable, the design was elegant, and we had our own private pool with a view of the ocean right in front of us. Every little detail felt like luxury. The whole resort is just stunning; with plenty of pools and amazing restaurants to try. We didn’t have a single bad meal; everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully served.|There’s also a great variety of restaurant options across the resort; from casual to fine dining, you can try something different every day without ever having to leave the property. Whether you’re in the mood for Indonesian, seafood, Western, Japanese, or something light by the pool, there’s something for everyone; and it’s all done with care and great service.|Ordering food or asking for anything through the app was super easy and fast; someone would respond in seconds. Our butlers helped us organise everything from spa bookings to dinner plans. Before we arrived, we sent them a list of things we wanted to do; and by the time we checked in, they had already sorted it all. That level of service really made things feel effortless.|We also did a cooking class, which we loved, and visited the spa; one of the nicest we’ve been to. The massages and masseuses were excellent. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the warm welcome at the villa lobby and being shown to our room, every moment was handled so well.|Ayana Villas is the kind of place where you really don’t need to leave the resort to have a full holiday; there’s so much to do and enjoy. If I could work remotely from there, I’d probably go once a month. In my opinion, it’s the best place to stay in Bali; we will definitely be coming back.

The positives about this place is endless. The service is world class. I really have to give a big shoutout to our butler drivers, Gus, Arim, Wyasa, Awan, Adi, Bagus and Putra. All of you guys truly made our stay so seamless, and taking us all over the place. You guys made our stay here that much better and we appreciate every single one of you guys.

This hotel is cashless, which I was disappointed to learn about as we had cash we wanted to use before our departure. I like being able to use cash and the fact that this hotel is cashless makes me reluctant to want to come back. Separately, as a mega resort, you do have to take a buggy to get to places and this can become a bit cumbersome having to call and wait 10-15 minutes for buggy each time. On the plus side, the villas are nice, feel fairly new, and are very spacious. Additionally, there are lots of good food options on the property as well.
