This hotel is extremely rundown and the rooms are dirty. DO NOT STAY THERE. The 4 star reviews are old (from before the pandemic) and clearly things have changed. We had a two night stay booked there and ended up just leaving after seeing the room, we stay in Upsallata which was a much better option. The hotel is poorly maintained and the rooms are dirty. It was clear they had not vacuumed or cleaned the room before we arrived. We found dead bugs inside the bed sheets and the carpet floors were stained and dirty. Overall a bad experience. Stay away.

Hotel does more business in the summer now than in the winter as snowfall is unpredictable around here. It could explain why the hotel is so basic as most guests in the summer will be looking to go on to Aconcagua and will be sleeping in a tent after staying here!||There is basic wifi near the front desk but it has a low range. Carpets in the rooms have seen better days, it's not a hotel where you want to stay in your room.||Having said that the staff are friendly and nice and the food isn't bad. ||If you don't have to stay here I would give it a miss though.

Although clean, the room is very basic and quite old. Old bathroom, the water in the toilet kept running. No decorations or amenities, small tv with 1 channel. The wifi only works in the lobby/restaurant and not that well. Very expensive for what you get. they have a restaurant onsite. Food at dinner was ok, breakfast was a bit better. A bit hard to get a restful sleep as we had to sleep with the window open because it was hot but very noisy because of trucks on the road. No elevator. Close to Aconcagua Park and Chilean border.

The rooms are very basic but clean. Ask for a room away from the road, it gets a bit loud at night. The reception was very helpful and the food was very good!! Wi-Fi only at the lobby. If you go for the mountains this is a nice place to charge up before tents

Awesome place to stop for a night on the way to and from Aconcagua NP. This was my first and yet the only visit to Argentina. I fell in love with the country and the people; Steve, the Ayelen Hotel owner, and his wonderful staff have contributed alot to this. The Hotel seems deemed and themed for Aconcagua hikers, like myself. Level of comfort and services are reasonable; cannot complain on the prices too. Sure, in Mendoza you can stay for less, but for such remote location I cannot call it unreasonably expensive. And once more, kudos to the staff for the great atmosphere and for personal approach to each client.

Room average; noisy trucks passing outside through the night. Communal area downstairs is fine. Staff are extremely helpful with filling up water bottles. Excellent dinner menu choice; efficient wait service, carried out in a polite and friendly way. And good food! Breakfast a little less impressive, with things running out.

Hotel is pretty basic as far as rooms are concerned. Bar is fine with great views, beer is standard Argentinian brews. Restaurant food is ok. Staff are great and helpful. The WiFi is only in bar area and depends where you sit as it is a small personal dongles at reception

Situated ON the highway to Chile in the Uspallata Pass our group used it as a base for one night to setup for Aconcagua trek. Ask for a room that’s not facing the road as there are trucks passing all night. ||The dinner was fine and service friendly. Breakfast similar. The rooms are VERY BASIC and in need of some serious refurbishment. ||On our return we elected to instead drive the hours back to Mendoza and get in around midnight than stay here again and pay more than in the city.
