You can’t help but love the name. This small hole in the wall does a roaring trade. Only open at 5pm we waited for 20 mins with buzzer for yummy fried rice (large pieces of chicken and a surprise of three large prawns at the bottom of container) and chicken teriyaki with noodles. Both just the ticket. We scuffed both down very quickly. Hard to initially justify paying $23.50 for fried rice but worth it when you’re in the middle of Oz far from anywhere!

Ordered the sweet and sour pork belly from Ayers Wok, but unfortunately the pork wasn’t crispy & the sauce was quite thin. The portion size was generous though, and the staff were friendly. I also didn’t have to wait long for my order.

It was our third night visiting Yulara and we thought our family of 6 we might satisfy our asian food cravings at Ayers Wok. Unfortunately the food was so bad that we didn’t end up eating it. The taste wasn’t authentic, the food was overcooked, the meat was cut so thick and had a weird taste, there was an excess of sauce on the noodles but with the wrong flavour balance and the green curry tasted like water with green curry paste. It was like someone that doesn’t usually make food cooked it. I don’t know if there’s a different chef on other nights because I don’t know how they’ve managed on getting 5 star reviews. This was an assault on our taste buds.

The staff were so great and polite, and the food was also good! The price was relatively high compared to Sydney or other cities in Australia, but reasonable for this isolated place.

The fried rice with prawns is good. It won't set the world standard for the best but it's a good amount of food and tastes good. I'd eat it again as your options at the resort can feel limited at times. Price matches what you get.

Asian in the middle of nowhere, didn't expect much. It was ok. Irony is all the negative reviews don't affect their business, people (approx 10) queued up 15-20 min before they even opened 😝

We had the Thai green curry and the vegetarian noodles. The food was absolutely delicious, and the serving portions are very great! It was very quick and the staff were friendly friendly. Love it!

Ordered sweet and sour pork ribs and fried rice. The pork was huge pieces of chewy pork floating around the sauce. Disgusting!! The fried rice was gluggy. The pork was thrown out entirely. $25 for bad pork. Yuk!!

Yelp
Tasted good. Portion was filling for two. We got a diy bowl. You pick your meat, rice or type of noodles, and your sauce. Meat choices were: beef, pork, chicken, prawns, maybe tofu (I forget...). Sauce choices, sweet and sour, green curry, spicy pepper, or soy sauce garlic and sesame. We are ginger lovers so, we ordered chicken, rice, and soy, garlic and seasame sauce. They are not overly generous with the meat, but most foodstuffs are pretty expensive here in Australia (a smidge isolated out here at ayers rock, lol) so s'okay. Price for one diy bowl, plus two veg spring rolls which were ordered separate, about 21$ Aus. Yummy lunch.

Yelp
It's not the best noodles or spring rolls that I have ever had, but I guess that's what happens when there isn't any competition for Asian food. I mean the spring rolls were either over cooked or under cooked, the flavour wasn't to bad but some consistency would be great! The noodles we okay, well cooked but lack a bit of flavour and punch! I order the chilli noodles and it didn't resemble it at all. The beef was well cooked and nice, vegetables and noodles were also nice! It was probably a lacking in some real flavour, if it had a bit more punch I would have been satisfied! It was also quite the wait, but maybe I'm just a spoilt Melbournian!

Yelp
I was desperate for Asian food after I had pizza for lunch so the Hokkien noodles with BBQ pork tasted fantastic. Actually had lots of veggies. Was very oily though but tastes great. Kinda want to try the tom yum soup.

Yelp
Pathetic experience! The worst customer service... my 10 year old and I waited for 45 minutes in the freezing cold to order, get yo the counter and the woman attending says another Hour's wait. No concern for the fact that we had already waited so long...do not waste your time here.
