We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was really tasty—we tried a variety of tapas, and each dish was full of flavor and well-prepared. The drinks were also very good; I had a fresh lemonade that was especially refreshing. However, the bathroom was a different story. It wasn’t very clean and had a rather strange setup—I’ve honestly never seen a bathroom quite like it before. It felt a bit out of place compared to the quality of the food and drinks. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable.

Came to try the new menu and it was amazzingggg! The food was unreal, especially the duck, iberico, watermelon salad, house cured salmon were my favs and can highly recommend! James and Caterina were great hosts and Ben is the best chef ever!!!

Definitely a must go when in Rotterdam! The food was delightful, favorites were the watermelon, cod, Iberico and gambas! Compliments to chef Ben for the amazing food! Service from Katarina and James were also great :)

So enjoyable, I came back the next night! The service was just as perfect. The food and drink divine. So impressed.

Came here for drinks only, and it was a nice experience, but nothing special. We asked for recommendations and the waiter explained some of the cocktails and helped us pick what we were looking for. I got the Silken Road and it was refreshing as mentioned, however I did not find it fruity or floral as stated in its description. Taste wise it was ok, but not really to my taste so next time I will try something else. I will say that it looks pretty and there is a light under it, so when it's dark it probably looks even better.

Absolutely amazing food and best Sangria I’ve ever had! The Iberico pork is definitely a recommender. Best restaurant in Rotterdam for Mediterranean food.

1. The service here is really good. The People are cheerful and welcoming. 2. There aren't a lot of food options. This place is ideal if you want to drink and have food as a side dish. 3. But whatever I ate I really liked. We got the cauliflower wings and they were good. I especially liked the spicy peanut garnish. 4. The ambiance is good too. The location of this restaurant is centrally located. Very close to Centraal Station and near office buildings. Overall a good place to grab a few drinks with friends/coworkers. Their snacks compliment their beverages.

I and my fiance were both travelers to Rotterdam and decided to choose Ayla for our dinner while staying there. One of the best mediterranean-inspired restaurants I’ve been to! All the dishes were delicious, and I recommend the Cocktail Bible menu for drinks. Pair those the view from the restaurant looking at a lovely square. But the most appreciative aspect of the night was the atmosphere and how friendly the whole team was. We were served by João, who really made our night and helped tailor our dinner to our liking really well. The night was so beautiful that I decided to propose to my fiance later after the dinner ends, so that gotta means something!

I had a really offensive experience at here. As soon as I sat down, I was unjustly accused by the manager of being on drugs (despite being completely sober) with her logic being that I was apparently twitchy and my pupils were dilated. I'm diagnosed with ADHD so I tend to move around a lot and it was a dimly lit room and I've never been accused like that before so I was completely at a loss. This was in front of employees and other patrons that could easily hear the conversation. This all went down within a minute of me walking in and her actions were completely unfounded as well as humiliating and highly unprofessional and made me really uncomfortable and insulted. Completely ruined any chance of feeling relaxed in there. Later on she said she understands how insulting it is but dismissed it by stating that she has done this quite a bit in the past and despite being wrong about half the time intends to continue doing so "to protect her restaurant.". I worked in restaurants for years and have dealt with many intoxicated customers before and I understand that Rotterdam has some weird characters but I was literally sitting at the bar minding my own business just like last time I was there. Certainly nobody else was bothered by me. I would never, and have never seen a customer so unjustly accused based on circumstantial evidence like that and that's despite working in places with a much greater number of actually drugged people than Rotterdam center. This wasn't a normal or acceptable thing to happen at all. Besides that this just isn't a good place to go. I had been here before and each time it's been mediocre service. I shouldn't need to get the attention of a bartender standing 3 feet from me when I have no drinks and a closed menu in an empty bar. Pretty subpar beer menu as well and the whole place looks and feels tacky. You can walk like 5 minutes or less and find a lot of places that would give you a better experience in terms of service, options, and not potentially dealing with a crazy manager. I strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a business that devalues ​​and mistreats its customers so brazenly.

Very nice Waitress, but extremely disappointing food. We ordered the octopus terrine and you can taste how not fresh it was !!! It had a very weird after taste. I do not recommend the place at all the food wasn't good.
