From the moment you enter, you feel welcomed not only by the excellent service but for how cozy it is. The food is amazing, they have this sharing concept which we enjoyed a lot. The restaurant has a convenient location just next to Rotterdam centraal station. Whether you want something to bite or to try one of their signature cocktails, I highly recommend it.

1. The service here is really good. The People are cheerful and welcoming. 2. There aren't a lot of food options. This place is ideal if you want to drink and have food as a side dish. 3. But whatever I ate I really liked. We got the cauliflower wings and they were good. I especially liked the spicy peanut garnish. 4. The ambiance is good too. The location of this restaurant is centrally located. Very close to Centraal Station and near office buildings. Overall a good place to grab a few drinks with friends/coworkers. Their snacks compliment their beverages.

Interesting food choices, great vibe, but really silly tap water policy. The drinks menu was refreshing with some creative names. I could t even begin to describe them, but it was a great start to our experience at the restaurant. For food, we had some fried items like the cauliflower and artichoke which had unique sauces. The ceviche was my favorite where instead of the standard chunky pieces of fish they served a really thin slice. Other food items like the sliders and ribs were decent. Portion sizes in general are small and drinks are expensive. That being said, what was ridiculous was that their water glasses were so small and they refused to serve us any additional water after all that fried food and red meat, insisting that we buy a full bottle of water. Overall I recommend going here. Maybe carry your own water. :p

This is a nice place located near Central Station. Food is ok but the portions are really small. The concept is shared dining but after spending 90 euro's for 2 persons we still were hungry. The service was kind and friendly. If we come back it will be only for drinks.

I don’t get why Ayla “only” has a 4.1. The food is unique and tasty and is served beautifully. It gives a bit of a fine-dining experience. I love the sour notes (amongst others ceviche and pickled toppings on the dishes). The fried cauliflower was served well; thoroughly cooked/soft, but not overdone. The staff is very friendly in helping to make choices. Also been here a couple of times for (business) lunches. Good fresh flatbread, could recommend the burrata.

A beautifully decorated place. Food was nice but not outstanding. We took the chefs surprise menu but nothing was really surprising. Quality was ok but there were only a few pieces of meat and fish for the three of us . The cocktails though were great! The best I've had in a long time! Good job to the barman!

Yelp
I had a really offensive experience at here. As soon as I sat down, I was unjustly accused by the manager of being on drugs (despite being completely sober) with her logic being that I was apparently twitchy and my pupils were dilated. I'm diagnosed with ADHD so I tend to move around a lot and it was a dimly lit room and I've never been accused like that before so I was completely at a loss. This was in front of employees and other patrons that could easily hear the conversation. This all went down within a minute of me walking in and her actions were completely unfounded as well as humiliating and highly unprofessional and made me really uncomfortable and insulted. Completely ruined any chance of feeling relaxed in there. Later on she said she understands how insulting it is but dismissed it by stating that she has done this quite a bit in the past and despite being wrong about half the time intends to continue doing so "to protect her restaurant.". I worked in restaurants for years and have dealt with many intoxicated customers before and I understand that Rotterdam has some weird characters but I was literally sitting at the bar minding my own business just like last time I was there. Certainly nobody else was bothered by me. I would never, and have never seen a customer so unjustly accused based on circumstantial evidence like that and that's despite working in places with a much greater number of actually drugged people than Rotterdam center. This wasn't a normal or acceptable thing to happen at all. Besides that this just isn't a good place to go. I had been here before and each time it's been mediocre service. I shouldn't need to get the attention of a bartender standing 3 feet from me when I have no drinks and a closed menu in an empty bar. Pretty subpar beer menu as well and the whole place looks and feels tacky. You can walk like 5 minutes or less and find a lot of places that would give you a better experience in terms of service, options, and not potentially dealing with a crazy manager. I strongly advise others to think twice before supporting a business that devalues and mistreats its customers so brazenly.

Yelp
Very nice Waitress, but extremely disappointing food. We ordered the octopus terrine and you can taste how not fresh it was !!! It had a very weird after taste. I do not recommend the place at all the food wasn't good.
