It’s understandable to see locals mourning the loss of unlimited paella but as a tourist this place was amazing. 10 Euros for a big plate, cooked over an open fire pit, ready instantly, good chicken and shrimp, rice flavourful but not oily, delicious!

Beautiful place with amazing views. The staff were nice and friendly. The salmon and entrecote steak were nice but the 1kg steak in the bone was at first undercooked so it was taken back and cooked a little more but it was full of sinew and fat so we actually left more than we could eat and the only winner with that was the dog as we took the bone home for him.

Simply the best Paella in the world. Having tried Paella elsewhere and usually been disappointed, Ayo's is without doubt the best, cooked over an open wood fire . Great food and great atmosphere situated right next to the beach as well. What more could you ask for.

Sad to say but very average Paella. We were drawn in by the massive pot of bubbling Paella being prepared over an open wood fire which all looked very authentic. Sandy/gravel floor. Plastic garden chairs and tables all added to the rustic appeal however I know it was only 10 euros but a medium sized plate containing a lot of rice , 2/3 prawns and two pieces of chicken isn't really my idea of an authentic Paella (but I have no personal experience of what is or isn't authentic Paella anyway so I could be wrong) My picture shows 3 Prawns but one was just a head 😅 That said is was filling and edible but I doubt I'll go back. Oh, and the toilets had an empty paper towel dispenser for hand drying and the blower didn't work.

Really good place. Basic seating, no frills service and great value paella gets my vote. It's not a posh place and it's not fine dining but it is decent tasty food at a good price and watching them cook the paellan for s an experience. Eat here

Prices affordable In front of the sea Fast service Quality sea andalusian food I will rate it as 10.0 Because the quality and fast attitude is awesome! Prices are not the cheapest, but to be in Nerja is decent and for everyone!

High reviews online so we decided to see for ourselves. Well worth the walk from Nerja to get here. Absolutely lovely food, we both had paella and a salad. Swift service and a stunning view of the beach and palm trees. Wonderful!

It doesn't look like much, but the food was really good (we had the fish and calamar). Staff was very friendly, they even gave us aioli sauce on the house. Also, the toilets had all the ammenities and were very clean, which is nice to have when sitting at the beach all day.
