Disappointing Stay - Poor Service and Hygiene I recently staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. The hotel itself is quite old, which is manageable if the service compensates, but unfortunately, it did not. The most important issue was the housekeeping. They don’t clean the room unless you explicitly inform them, which is surprising and highly inconvenient. Even after informing them, their attitude is far from professional. They seemed annoyed and reluctant to clean the room, as if they were doing me a favor. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and poor service left a bad impression. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

A very comfortable place to stay. Very near the old city and shopping area. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The rooms are very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I am lucky to find this hotel, this hotel accommodates my family of four. The location is in Nizami and staff is very cooperating. The hotel has old furniture and that is the only reason making this facility very affordable compared to the prices other hotels are charging in the proximity. And yes the breakfast is very delicious

Our stay was very comfortable having no issue. Staffand management is friendly and supportive. Location & breakfast was also good.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location next to Fountain Square and the included parking. Furthermore the hotel is old, tired, ill maintained, dirty and hardly deserves one star. The four stars came through corruption which is everywhere in this country. The first room on the backside of the hotel on the third floor was so bad that we got another room on the fourth floor. That was probably the suite of the hotel. This room has the view on Fountain Square, but the floor moves as if the beams are broken/rotten. The bathroom smelled and actually nothing is clean or new. The chair in the room had a loose leg en de bedside lamps almost fell apart. For the last night we had to move to another room. Again on the third floor (305), but on the frontside of the hotel. This room had a terrible sqeaking bed with worn out matrasses and an ill maintained bathroom. Breakfast in this hotel is of no any standard. very little choice, blue boiled eggs, products from the day(s) before (not fresh). The elevator didn't work a couple of times, so going up and down by stairs. The hotel staff hardly speaks English. If you don't care about the place to sleep, but want a perfect location in Baku choose this hotel, but if you care just a little about the accommodation: find another hotel !!

Nice little hotel just off the fountain square district and only a short walk from the old city and the F1 general admission gate. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the local vicinity. Taxi rank just 50 yards away.||||The one small elevator was unpredictable and a dead-loss during popular checkout times. Talking to others in the party, the rooms are quite variable in quality. Mine was OK with a decent shower and comfortable bed, but I really hate to think what could have stained the carpet so badly (see photo).

Ascot Hotel is located in the centre Baku. Cafés Restaurants and other attractions, like Boulevard arr right in the vicinity. The personnel are very friendly supportive, the breakfast is fresh. The rooms are clean and tidy as well as the rest of the Hotel.many thanks:)

Location is great. And the value of the money, excellent. The hotel is kind of basic and old, but the beds are comfortable (mattress kind of hard, but I prefer hard rather than soft) Breakfast is ok. So for the money, the value is good.
