Legacy Mekong is a stunning resort — every corner is finished with high-quality, sustainable materials, and you feel the attention to detail everywhere. The staff, especially in the restaurants and the bar, are extraordinarily warm and welcoming. Hospitality is truly in their DNA.
When we arrived, one of the swimming pools was under renovation. This was fully compensated: we were given access to the pool in the main villa and received a complimentary dinner. A thoughtful gesture that set the tone.
The resort is vast, beautifully designed and spread out. Yet during our stay there were only about 40 guests the first day, and around 25 the next. It creates a lovely sense of peace, but it can also feel a bit too quiet at times — almost isolated. Breakfast was the only moment when you really saw other guests.
At 3:30 PM they offer a complimentary tea hour with pastries. Our waiter, Nhut Cam Ly, was extremely kind and attentive, and truly went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
He also told us about the second restaurant where they serve hot pot. It was delicious — but again, we were the only guests.
We received a complimentary 10-minute head and neck massage: painful in the moment, but afterwards my neck felt 30 years younger.
If you’re looking for deep rest and minimal interaction with people, this resort is perfect. My only suggestion would be to add a bit of background music here and there. The atmosphere is almost too perfect and clean at times. The lighting in the evenings is absolutely beautiful, though.
The gym is equipped with top-level machines — truly impressive — but it also feels a bit “only the lonely’.
