Azienda Agricola La Piana

We had such a great time at La Piana. Valentina gave us a really nice tour and answered all the questions we had. The wines are very good. You can feel Mirco's passion for his work through his wine.

We arrived for a tour in the winery and wine tastings (ordered online) accompanied by local bread and cheese. We spent there 1.5 enjoying hours , discussing with the sommelier about wines and lambrusco production. Recommend to arrive before sunset, so you'll see the view of the valley in the beautiful afternoon light. The wines were good, and grant us a totally new opinion about lambrusco. in our country, bars usually serves the cheap version which is too sweet and extra brut party wine. But the original D.O.P lambrusco we tasted at La Piana was a good quality wine that we can enjoy and appreciate, has complex taste and lightly sparkled. We tasted 4 different wines, the white was our least favourite.

The best experience we could ever had, glad that this was our first wine tasting and the way it was done.. All thanks to Martina, her kindness, her knowledge and passion about the wine and this specific variety and this traditional winery!! We wanted to tour in a short notice and they were very welcoming. Martina was lovely and gave us an amazing tour. The wines were stunning! And she explained it with passion 10/10!!! We came out with a box🤭🤭 they were also vegetarian friendly 🌱

I wish I could say this in every language. Absolutely amazing. One of the best wine tastings I have ever had (and I have had many). We had the best time at the wine tasting! The location is beautiful, wines are delicious but what made this experience extra special was Martina’s knowledge and kindness. We can’t wait to come back for more Lambrusco when in the area. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!

They have a perfect selection of wine, some of the best tasting sparkling wine as well. They do tastings on Saturdays and you must stop in for one to fully experience all the flavors... One of the best parts is their wine comes from grapes grown on a hillside and are completely organic, no preservatives or sugars added and even the packaging is eco friendly with less waste. The staff is wonderful and there is usually someone English speaking there to help... The views on the way in are breathtaking!
