We stayed in Casa 12, the agriturismo's converted sharecropper cottage. It's on 3 levels; the first is a kitchen, then a small sitting area and bathroom, with a bedroom on the top floor. Off the sitting area is a hallway with more bedrooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us on the kitchen table. The winery itself is very nice, with a great tasting room. The gardens are lovely, and there is a patio overlooking them and the vineyards. The villa is very inviting, but isn't open to guests. ||||First problem is they have a water heater that allows one person to take a shower. You then need to wait an hour or more for enough hot water for the next shower. If 6 people are staying here, you'll waste your day hoping for hot water. The Wi-Fi didn't reach to the apartment, so we had to sit in the tasting room to get email, etc. Funishings and fixtures are VERY basic. This is definitely a no-frills experience. On the plus side, each room did have it's own climate control, so you can stay comfortable with heat or A/C. There is a road right outside the bedroom windows, and you will hear passing traffic.||||If you don't mind staying where it's very basic, you may be OK with the place. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I need a few more frills, especially reliable hot showers, when I travel.
